ENJOY THE SOUND! Your beyerdynamic Team SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Risk of injury u We would like to point out that excessively high volumes and long liening times may cause hearing damage. Hearing defects always conitute an irreversible impairment of hearing ability. If you suer from tinnitus, do not use headphones or reduce the volume. u When connecting the headset, please ensure that the volume is turned down to minimum. Adjust the volume after putting on the headset. Danger to life u Headphones draically reduce perception of external sounds. Using headphones in road traic can be potentially dangerous. The user’s hearing mu not be impaired to the extent that it causes road safety risks. Please also make sure that you do not use the headphones in traic, especially within an area of potentially dangerous machines and tools. u Fuhermore, avoid using headphones in situations where hearing mu not be aected, especially when crossing a railway crossing or at a conruction site. Liability / intended use u Do not use the product for any application which is not described in this product information. u beyerdynamic is not liable for improper use of the product and its accessories. MAINTENANCE u Use a so cloth moiened with water to clean the suace. u Make sure that no water enters the headset. u Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents. u Never use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning the headset, as this may cause irreparable damage. DISPOSAL u At the end of its operating life this product may not be disposed of along with normal household waste. Please take it to a designated recycling point for electric and electronic appliances. u This is indicated by the symbol on the product, the operating instructions or the packaging.

Observe the position of the jack.
Connect the jack connector to the headset. Pull the connection carefully to disconnect, if you want to use another cable.5MMX 100
Connect the flat 5-pole jack to the headset and the round 4-pole jack to your device such as console controllers, external soundcards, notebooks, tablets etc.
For devices with 1/4" jack (6.35 mm), please use a third- pay adapter. Make sure that it is a 4-pole adapter, as the microphone will not work with a 3-pole 1/4" (6.35 mm) TRS adapter. u Caution: Connect the round 4-pole jack connector of the cable to a headphone socket only! If you connect the headset to any other jack socket, the headset could be damaged.

CONNECTING CABLE WITH
Connect the flat 5-pole jack to the headset and the two round 3-pole jack connectors to a headphone output and microphone input of a PC or notebook, which have a mini combination jack (3.5 mm).
For devices with 1/4" jack (6.35 mm), please use one of ours or a third-pay adapter. u Caution: Connect the round 3-pole jack connectors of the cable to a headphone and microphone socket only! If you connect the headset to any other jack sockets, the headset could be damaged.
MUTE AND UN-MUTE THE MICROPHONE
u Press the button to mute or unmute the microphone. u When muted the button icks outward. u When unmuted the button is inward. Connect to device Microphone Headphone Connect to headset Mute activated. Mute deactivated.6MMX 100
u The headphone volume can easily be increased by turning the control wheel up. u To decrease the volume, turn the control wheel down. Increase volume Decrease volume Turn counter-clockwise and pull o. Replace ear pad and turn clockwise.
