How to turn the HyperX CloudX Flight headset on and off?

Press and hold the Power button (F) for 3 seconds to turn the headset on or off.

How to adjust the headset volume?

Use the volume control wheel (H) on the earcup. Turn it up to increase volume, down to decrease.

How to mute the microphone?

Press the Microphone mute button (C). The mute LED (J) lights up when the mic is muted. A 3-second press activates or deactivates mic control.

How to charge the CloudX Flight headset?

Connect the USB charging cable (M) to the charging port (E) on the headset and to a USB charger. During charging, the headphone LED blinks; when fully charged, the LED turns off.

How to manually pair the headset with the wireless adapter?

Make sure the headset is off. Plug the adapter into the console. Using a pin, press the button on the back of the adapter for 3 seconds (the LED blinks). Then, press and hold the Power button on the headset for 10 seconds until the LEDs blink. Pairing is complete when the adapter LED stays solid.

What LED modes are available on the headset?

The headset offers three modes: Solid (default), Breathing, and Off. Briefly press the Power button to cycle through these modes.

How to adjust the balance between game and chat audio?

Use the Game audio/Chat audio balance buttons (A and B). Press the game balance button (A) or chat balance button (B) to adjust the mix independently of the main volume.

What is the battery life of the CloudX Flight?

Battery life varies by LED mode: 30 hours with LED off, 18 hours in breathing mode, and 13 hours in solid mode (tested at 50% volume).

What is the wireless range of the headset?

The wireless range can reach up to 20 meters in an open environment. Obstacles and interference may reduce this distance.

Is the CloudX Flight headset compatible with Xbox One?

Yes, the headset is specially designed for Xbox One. Simply plug the wireless adapter (K) into a USB port on the console and turn on the headset. The connection is automatic.

Usage

Using with Xbox One®

1. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on the Xbox One ^® system.
2. Power on the headset.
3. When the wireless adapter status light is solid, the headset is now connected to the adapter.
4. If logged in with an account, the Xbox One ^® will assign the headset to that account and notify the user.

Note: Connecting the headset to the Xbox One ^® system does not automatically mute or adjust the sound from the TV.

Headset Controls

Power button Volume wheel

Power button

Hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on/off the headset.

With the headset powered on, short press the power button to cycle through the ear cup LED modes.

The supported LED modes are solid (default), breathing, and off.

Volume wheel

Rotate the volume wheel up or down to adjust the volume level.

Game balance button Chat balance button Microphone mute button Microphone mute LED

Game/Chat balance buttons

Press the game/chat balance buttons to adjust mix between game audio and chat audio.

The game/chat balance functionality operates independently from the overall headset audio volume.

Microphone mute button

Press the microphone mute button to toggle the microphone mute. The microphone mute LED will indicate the current mute status.

The headset will emit beep tones to indicate status for power, volume, game/chat balance, microphone mute, mic monitoring, and battery charge.

Headset Charging

When the headset is connected to a charger with the USB charge cable, the ear cup LEDs will indicate the charge status.

Manually Pairing Headset and Wireless Adapter

The headset and wireless adapter are already paired together for first time use. If manual pairing is necessary, follow the steps below to pair the headset and wireless adapter together.

1. Make sure the headset is powered off.
2. Plug the USB wireless adapter into the Xbox One ^® system.
3. Use a small pin to press the small button on the back side of the USB wireless adapter for 3 seconds. The USB wireless adapter LED will be fast blinking.

PIN HOLE

1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the headset power button for 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. The headset earcup LEDs will blink rapidly.

1. When the USB wireless adapter LED turns solid and the headset ear cup LEDs have returned to their last used mode, the pairing process has been completed.
