E. PUTTING THE RINGS ON THE CHASSIS They should be tted as low as possible on the pushchair. Place the toothed strap (5) around the tube of the chassis.

Fir the connector ring (7) by inserting the toothed strap through the slot of the ring, aligning the threads on both.

Pull the toothed strap rmly

and turn the ring clockwise to fasten it securely to the tube.

NOTE: To fasten the ring securely to a chassis with a slim tube, remove the non-slip rubber from the toothed strap.

WARNING: The connectors should not interfere with the folding

of the pushchair or the braking system. If they do, you need to reposition the rings. B. PLATFORM The Universal Go Up platform is the best way of making it possible for your pushchair to carry a second child. The platform is designed for children from 2 years old and weighing up to 20 kg. C. COMPATIBILITY This platform is designed to be tted easily onto different types of pushchairs. For the Jané, Concord or be cool pushchair please see the compa- tibility table.

D. ASSEMBLING THE PLATFORM

Insert the metal wheel shaft (2) into the holes in the platform (1) until you hear them click into place.

Fit the extension arms (3) onto the platform while pressing the ad- justment button (4). The arms must NOT be outside the limit marked “max.”

osition the platform in front of the rear wheels of the pushchair and press the adjustment button to approximately adjust the width of the arms.

Release the cams (9) on both arms.

Press the hook release button (10) found just below the hook (8) in order to open it.

Fit the hooks through the rings (7) and click them fastened into place.

Find the perfect position so the platform is level (parallel to the ground) and as close as possible to the pushchair. Adjust IM01979 Plataforma Go Up.indd 30 28/6/17 10:5931

the height of the hooks (8) by pressing the metal button on the underneath of the hooks.

Lock the cams (9) to fasten the arms into the required position.

Make sure that both arms are the same distance from the centre of the platform and that the hooks are correctly fastened through the rings. The Go Up platform is now ready for use.

WARNING: Never fold the pushchair with the platform still

attached. If you want to fold the pushchair you must rst detach the platform and just leave the rings fastened on the chassis. Once you have connected the Go Up to the pushchair, you need to check the functioning with one child on the Go Up and another child sitting in the pushchair. The child on the Go Up must be comfortable and you have to be able to handle the pushchair easily. You may have to adjust the Go Up placing the platform nearer or further away from the pushchair. When it is correctly tted in place, cut the toothed straps (5) as close as possible to the connector ring (7) and smooth the edges to avoid any scratches.

Press the buttons (10) found under the hooks (8) to open them and dis- connect them from the rings.

If you want to take the rings off the pushchair chassis, turn the ring an- ticlockwise and release the toothed strap and the connector ring.

Go Up is tted with an adjustable strap (11) so it can be folded away when not in use.

Fasten the strap onto the right side tube of your pushchair. Insert the elastic band through the buckle as shown in diagram

and secure the elastic band in the clip underneath the platform

. Adjust the length of the strap with the buckle if necessary.

To unfold, release the elastic band from the platform clip.

Keep the metal parts clean and dry to prevent them from getting rusty. Lubricate the mobile parts regularly with silicone spray. Do not use oil or grease. To clean the plastic parts just use a mild de- tergent and warm water.
