How to turn on the Emerio FH107760 heater?

Press one or both heat setting buttons to select the power (1000 W or 2000 W). Then turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the maximum position. The device turns on.

Once the room is at the desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise until you hear a click. The thermostat then automatically maintains that temperature.

Can I use the heater in fan-only mode without heat?

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, burns and other injuries.

1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in the IM are for reference only.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
5. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
6. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 7. Use this heater only as described in the manual, any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
8. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug. After the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner, return the appliance to a service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.

Heat setting:

• Low heat output = 1000W (press one heat switch)
• High heat output = 2000W (press both heat switches)

OPERTAION

1. Press the heat select switch to choose the suitable setting (low heat output = 1000W / high heat output = 2000W).
2. Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position.
3. Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in anti-clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature.
4. The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting.

Note: if you do not choose the heat setting and only rotate the thermostat knob to the max position, the appliance will have the fan function only (no heat).

SAFETY SYSTEM

The appliance has a safety system which automatically switches off the unit when overheated.
- If overheating occurs, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket, and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. Put the plug in the socket and switch on the heater.

MAINTENANCE

The fan heater only needs regular cleaning on the outside.
- Before you clean the unit, turn off the switch. Remove the plug from the socket and wait until the fan heater cools down completely.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe the heater housing.
- Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaning liquids or chemicals (alcohol, gasoline etc.) to clean the appliance.
