2EN Lily for Kids INSTRUCTIONS Thank you for your interest in Lily for Kids by LANAFORM. This ultrasonic humidifier uses a high frequency oscillator to divide water into droplets with a diameter of about 1 to 5 µm. The ventilation system diffuses the water in the form of a cool mist providing the desired humidity. This mist is visible as a light fog issued by the diffusor. Please read all instructions, and particularly the recommendations for basic safety before using the humidifier.

• Always put the humidifier on a hard, flat, horizontal surface, at least 15 cm from the walls and away from any source of heat such as burners, radiators etc. The humidifier cannot operate correctly on a surface that is not horizontal.

• Check that the voltage of your electric supply corresponds to that of the appliance.

• Keep the humidifier out of the reach of children. Do not permit children to play with the appliance.

• Before using the appliance, unwind the cord and verify that it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if the cord is damaged.

• Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.

• Never disassemble the basic unit.

• Never operate an appliance with a defective plug or cord, or after a breakdown or damage of any kind. In these cases, return the appliance to the nearest approved dealer/repairer for verification and any necessary repairs or adjustments.

• Never add alkaline substances in the water tank.

• Do not shake the appliance. This could spill water into the base unit and affect its operation.

• Do not leave the humidifier in the sun for a long period.

• If an unusual odour occurs during normal use, turn off the appliance, unplug it and have it verified by qualified personnel.

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning it or removing the tank.

• Never touch the water or the immersed components when the appliance is in operation.

• Never turn on the humidifier when there is no water in the tank.

• Never scratch the transducer.

• To prevent any damage to the components, do not allow water to splash inside the base unit.

• Never wash the entire unit with water; do not immerse it.

• The ultrasonic humidifier should be cleaned regularly. To do this, refer to the cleaning instructions in this manual and respect them.

• Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already sufficiently moist (at least 50 percent relative humidity). Excessive humidity gives rise to condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in the room. To correctly assess the rate of humidity in the room, use a hygrometer available in most hardware and department stores. LILY 3EN COMPONENTS

INSTRUCTIONS Characteristics:

We recommend using the appliance at a temperature between 5 and 40 °C and a relative humidity of less than 50%. Remove the water tank from the appliance, unscrew the cap by turning it counter clockwise.

4EN Fill the water tank with clear water at 40°C maximum. Check that the silicon ring is in place and close the cover by turning clockwise. Verify the cleanliness and watertightness and then gently put the water tank back on the base. With dry hands, connect the plug and turn the appliance on. The main signal light comes on. The appliance begins to operate. Adjust for desired intensity of mist by turning the mist control knob. How to use aromatic oil To nebulise aromatic oils indoors, only use the oil container supplied with the equipment Add a few drops of aromatic oil into the oil container , taking care not to fill it excessively. Then place the oil container under the lid of the nozzle.

DO NOT USE ANY AROMATIC OILS DIRECTLY INTO WATER TANK.IT COULD PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE EQUIPMENT. ALTHOUGH THE SAFETY DEVICE STOPS THE OPERATION OF THE TRANSDUCER, AVOID LEAVING THE APPLIANCE PLUGGED IN WHENEVER POSSIBLE. DO NOT PLUG IN OR UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE WITH WET HANDS. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: If the water is hard, meaning that it contains too much calcium and magnesium, it may leave a white powder in the appliance and cause foaming at the surface of the tank, on the transducer (metal disc producing the ultrasonic waves), and on the inside walls of the water tank. Foam on the surface of the transducer will prevent the appliance from operating properly. We recommend:

• Using boiled, cooled water or distilled water for each utilization,

• Cleaning the tank every three days, cleaning the transducer every week,

• Changing the water in the tank often so that it stays fresh – don’t leave it for more than two days,

• Cleaning the whole appliance and ascertaining that all the components are perfectly dry when it is not in use. To clean the transducer Place 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on the surface and leave it from 2 to 5 minutes. Brush the foam from the surface with a soft brush. Do not use a hard tool or scratch the surface. Rinse the transducer with clear water. Do not use soap or other alkaline substances to clean the transducer. To clean the tank: Clean the water tank with a soft cloth and vinegar if there is foam OR calcium deposits in it. If the foam covers the safety switch, put a few drops of vinegar on it and clean it with the brush. Rinse the tank with clear water. LILY 5EN Storage: Clean and dry the ultrasonic humidifier carefully, complying with the maintenance instructions. Let it dry completely before storing it. Do not store with water in the base. Store the appliance in a dry cool place, out of the reach of children.
