How to turn the Hello Kitty humidifier on and off?

Use the ON/OFF button (mark 3 in figure 1) to turn the device on or off. A light indicator indicates the presence of water.

What type of water should I use?

It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water. You can also use cooled boiled water to extend the filter life and reduce limescale.

How to adjust the steam flow?

Turn the steam flow adjustment knob (mark 5) to choose among 3 intensity levels. The corresponding light indicators (mark 6) light up.

How to adjust the diffusion duration?

Use the diffusion duration adjustment button (mark 7) to select among 4 options. The lights (mark 8) indicate the chosen duration.

What to do if the device does not produce steam?

Check that the water level is sufficient and that the water level detector is correctly positioned. Also make sure the device is not in automatic shut-off mode (water light off).

How to clean the transducer?

Unplug the device. Clean the transducer (mark 10) with a soft brush and diluted white vinegar to remove limescale. Rinse thoroughly. Perform this cleaning every week.

Why does the humidifier turn off by itself?

The device is equipped with a safety device that cuts off the power in case of lack of water or overheating. Fill the tank or let the device cool down before turning it back on.

Can I use essential oils?

No, the addition of essential oils or additives is not recommended. This could damage the transducer and void the warranty. Use only water.

How to store the humidifier?

After use, empty the tank and clean all parts. Make sure they are completely dry before storing the device in a dry place away from dust.

What to do in case of abnormal noise?

A noise may come from a water level too low or a blocked fan. Check the water level and clean the fan (in the base) with a dry cloth.

We would like to thank you for your interest in the HELLO KITTY humidifier from LANAFORM®.

For human beings, the most comfortable relative humidity is between 45% and 55% . Air which is too dry and which is poor quality may be the source of many problems for our children: respiratory problems, dehydration, etc.

The HELLO KITTY humidifier is the perfect solution to this problem. Very easy to use, the HELLO KITTY humidifier is equipped with a 1.8 litre tank, which is easy to fill and secure in place. It has an autonomy of more than 8 hours, guaranteeing a peaceful night for your child. The HELLO KITTY humidifier is equipped with an integrated safety system which guarantees safe usage. It works immediately and silently, and has an adjustable vapour output and diffusion period.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:

If the water is hard, i.e. it contains a lot of calcium and magnesium, this can deposit a "white powder" inside the

We recommend:

1) always using water which has been boiled and then cooled or distilled water,
2) cleaning the tank every 3 days, cleaning the transducer every week,
3) changing the water in the tank regularly so that it is fresh, not leaving it in the appliance for more than 2 days,
4) cleaning the whole appliance and making sure that all its components are completely dry when not in use.

To clean the filter:

a) The demineralising effect and longevity of your filter depends on the mineral content of the water used in the humidifier. We would like to remind you that it is recommendable to use distilled or demineralised water.
b) Make sure to rinse the filter in clean water every 2 days. To do this, remove it from the tank cap.
