SWB 300 A1 Operation Heat levels 0 Appliance is switched off 1 Low heat level: ideal for sensitive or fine hair 2 High heat level: ideal for normal hair Styling and drying hair You can use the appliance to style small curls and waves and to dry slightly damp hair.
1) First, dry the wet hair with a towel or blow-dry it. For best results, use the
appliance when the hair is still slightly damp but no longer wet.
2) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
3) Select the required heat level with the level switch 4.
4) If necessary, divide the hair into several sections and isolate a single lock.
5) Place the brush attachment 2 at the end of the lock of hair. In the process,
distribute the hair over the entire length of the brush attachment 2.
6) Rotate the appliance by the handle 5 to roll the lock onto the brush attach-
7) To release the hair, slide the curl release button 3 towards the handle 5
and hold it in this position. At the same time, pull the appliance down so that the brush attachment 2 rolls out of the lock. Note: If you place the brush attachment 2 at the hairline of a single lock and do not curl the hair, but only brush it, you can achieve a little more fullness. Be especially careful with longer hair to ensure that it does not get caught in the bristles. CAUTION! If any hair gets caught in the bristles of the brush appliance 2, remove it carefully, e.g. with your fingers. Make sure that you set the level switch 4 back to "0" beforehand. Risk of burns!
8) Proceed in this way, one lock at a time, until you are satisfied with the result.
Note: If the appliance does not function as expected, unplug it and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector!
9) Switch off the appliance by moving the level switch 4 back to "0".
10) Then remove the plug from the mains power socket.GB
7 ■ SWB 300 A1 Tips and tricks ■ Style your hair only when it is almost dry. ■ A suitable styling product can enhance the durability of the curls. Choose a product that also contains heat protection if you expose the hair to significant heat. ■ Part the hair into individual locks to create more fullness. ■ You can achieve more fullness at the roots if you dry the hair starting from the roots and then work towards the tips. This is particularly suitable for short hair, e.g. for styling a fringe. ■ If you want to comb out the hair after styling, allow it to cool down well first. Cleaning DANGER! Risk of fatal injury from electrocution! Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains power socket! Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the plug in water or any other liquids! After cleaning, ensure that the appliance is completely dry before using it again! CAUTION! Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Risk of burns! ATTENTION! Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents. They can corrode the surface and damage the appliance beyond repair.
1) Remove the brush attachment 2 from the appliance to clean it (fig. 1). To do
this, first remove the cap 1 by turning it anticlockwise. Then pull the brush attachment 2 off the appliance.
2) Place the brush attachment 2 in lukewarm water to clean it. You can use
detergents, but make sure to rinse it off thoroughly afterwards with water. Allow the brush attachment 2 to dry completely before re-attaching it to the appliance.
