2.0 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION REGARDING USE

  • The product requires a power supply of 240V 50Hz . Please check that the appropriate power supply is available before use.
  • Be sure to disconnect the power supply before dismantling / reassembling or adjusting the product.
  • To avoid danger, if the appliance is damaged contact our Customer Service team or send the appliance to one of our authorised service centres for replacement, and do not attempt to replace it without our authorisation.
  • Do not leave the device unattended.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Extra precaution should be taken when children and vulnerable persons are nearby.

  • Do not move the unit when it is in operation. Wait until the unit has cooled down completely.

  • Warning: To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. This is not suitable for drying laundry.
  • Do not remove any warning stickers or signs from the product.
  • When using the stand, secure it from tipping over using the mounting accessories provided. Do not operate the unit without securing it to the stand to prevent it from tipping over.

2.2 GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

  • WARNING Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to follow the safety information and instructions may cause electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
  • Ensure that no water can penetrate into the appliance. Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids. Never expose it to rain.
  • Do not use the machine if the mains plug, mains cable or any other part of the appliance is defective or damaged.
  • Do not remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
  • Never insert or remove the mains plug with wet hands.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or who has received instructions from them on how to use the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not use any electrical devices in potentially explosive areas, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical devices generate sparks, which can ignite the dust or exhaust fumes.
  • Check the fuse protection of the mains. The fuse rating must be 16A.
  • Do not use the heater together with other devices, on a multiple socket.
  • The grounded plug must be located outside the heating field.

2.3 ELECTRICAL SAFETY

  • The plugs of electrical devices must be compatible with the socket. Do not change the plug under any circumstances. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed electrical devices. Original plugs and the matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Avoid physical contact with earthed objects, such as pipes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body comes into contact with an earthed object.
  • Only use the cable for the purpose it is intended for. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the electrical appliance. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or intertwined cables increase the risk of an electric shock.
  • When operating an electrical appliance outdoors, use an extension cord that is suitable for outdoor use. Using a cable that is suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of an electrical shock.

  • If it is unavoidable to operate an electrical appliance in a humid environment, use a ground fault circuit interrupter for personal protection. Using an earth leakage circuit breaker reduces the risk of electric shock.

2.4 DISTANCES FOR WALL MOUNTING, HIGH TEMPERATURE AND FIRE PROTECTION

  • The max. deviation from the horizontal may be 5^ , otherwise the heating wire may become unusable. Vertical operation is not allowed.
  • Never install your device on a combustible surface.
    The distance of your device from the floor should be at least 1.8m
    The distance of your device from the ceiling should be at least 0.7m
    The distance of your device from the corners to be installed should be at least 0.4m
    The distance of your device to illuminated persons and objects should be at least 1 m.
  • Do not cover your device and do not hang clothes over the heater or put clothes on or near the device.
  • Do not insert any objects into the protective grille.
  • Do not use your heater to light cigarettes or similar materials.

FIRE HAZARD REDUCTION NOTICE

Minimum distance of 1 m from the front for all persons, furniture, curtains, etc.
- Always unplug heater from electrical outlet when not in use.
- Do not use power strips and back-to-back extensions. The minimum cross-section for the supply line and any extension must be at least 1.5 mm^2 .
- Never block the front grille of the heater.
- The heater is not suitable to be used in potentially explosive zones.

2.5 USE AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

  • Check the appliance for errors or damage. If damaged, have the electrical appliance repaired by a specialist before use.

2.6 RESIDUAL RISKS

Before carrying out any work on the appliance, remove the mains plug from the mains socket! Unplug the power cord from the mains socket by grasping the mains plug.

3.0 INTENDED USES

This heater is designed for covered outdoor areas and indoor areas that are not in constant use for temporary heating. Do not use as a changing table heater, or heat radiator for animals. Do not use in damp areas and rooms such as stables, straw storage, etc.

Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by unintended use. Any modification to the product may negatively impact safety, cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.

Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.

4.0 UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS

Open the box and remove the product.

After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent complaints cannot be accepted.

5.2 INSTALLATION

5.2.1 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (MODELL MZH2501)

  1. The heater comes with 4 brackets and fasteners. There are also 4 square washers in the channel on the back of the heater. Loosen the square washers and attach 2 brackets to the duct on the back of the heater.

  1. Fasten the brackets at the appropriate distance from each other (45-55cm).

  1. Fasten two more brackets to the wall parallel to the floor at the appropriate distance using fasteners.

  1. Connect the brackets of the heater to the brackets fixed to the wall. Align the heater at the correct angle of the surface to be heated.

5.2.2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (MODEL MZH2500)

  1. Use the supplied mounting material to firmly connect the stand to the floor.

  2. Mount the brackets by attaching four M5X10 screws to the back.

  1. Loosen the locking knob on the tube, place the holder on the tube part according to the figure.

5.3 COMMISSIONING

Plug the mains cable into the socket.

  1. Press the power switch to the "1" position and the digital screen will show "0 0", which means the unit is on.

  1. Press ON/OFF once, the digital screen will show "P 1" which means the first power setting.

  1. Press ON/OFF twice, the digital screen will display "P 2" which means second power setting.

  1. Press ON/OFF three times, the digital screen will display "P 3", which means third power setting.

  1. After the function is turned on, the timeout can be set from 1 to 24 hours, "0 1" indicates one hour timeout, "0 2" indicates two hours timeout, etc.

6.0 OPERATION

The heater can be controlled either by the remote control, or by the buttons on the LED display. Inserting the battery

  • Turn the remote control to the back and pull out the battery cover. Insert the battery according to the instructions and the polarity (+/-) of the battery.
  • Insert 1 x CR2025 battery into your remote control.
  • Replace used batteries as described above.

Attention!

Please use the battery type specified in this manual. Improper or incorrect use of the batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage, resulting in personal injury or property damage.

While in use, press any key, the red indicator will flash.

  1. On / Off. Turns the unit on or off, or keeps it in standby.
  2. First heating level. After turning on the device, you can select a low heating level.
  3. Second heating level. After turning on the device, you can select a medium heating level.
  4. Third heating level. After switching on the device, you can select a high heating level.
  5. Timer. After turning on the function, you can set a timeout of 1-24 hours. The digital screen shows 01 means one hour, 02 means two hours and so on.

7.0 MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug before carrying out maintenance or inspection work.

Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects. Only have parts replaced with original spare parts by a specialist in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance. Dangerous situations can arise. To ensure electrical safety, the appliance must not be treated with or even immersed in liquids. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product and increases its service life.

Caution: Let the device cool down completely before cleaning or storing it!

Maintenance

  1. Check the cleanliness of the reflector and the IR filament at least once a month. If necessary, apply the cleaning and maintenance instructions.
  2. You can increase the number of checks, taking into consideration the amount of dust in the environment.
  3. Check the deformation of the reflector, wire and frame while cleaning the unit. In case of damage, contact a qualified technician.
  4. Check the power cord and plug while cleaning the unit. In case of damage, contact a qualified technician.

Cleaning

  1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning the unit.
  2. Clean the device with a damp, lint-free cloth, possibly with the addition of a mild cleaning agent.

9.0 DISPOSAL
