    • To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Caution! The housing and grill surfaces become hot during operation. Make absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts while and after using the appliance. Only touch the appliance by the handle. Risk of burns!
  • Never leave your appliance unattended when in use. Keep children or individuals who require assistance away from the appliance.
  • Never use metal objects (e.g. knife, kitchen tongs, metal spatula, etc.) when removing sandwiches, waffles, etc. Always use a flat wooden or heat-resistant plastic spatula! Take care not to scrape off the coating, or small pieces of the coating will get into the food.
  • Maintain a safe distance around the appliance to prevent fire, and never move or shift the appliance during operation!

  • Use the cord only for its intended purpose. Never use the cord to carry, pull or unplug the power tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
  • When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using an outdoor-suitable cord reduces the risk of electric shock.

- If it is necessary to operate a power tool in a humid location, use an earth leakage circuit breaker to protect the power supply. Using a RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

  • Avoid accidental starting. Make sure that the switch is turned off before connecting the plug. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools with the switch on can cause accidents.
  • Avoid over-fatigue. Always maintain a secure footing. This makes it easier to control the power tool in unexpected situations.
