How to set the oven clock?

When the oven is in standby, turn the selector to CLOCK position. Use the < or > buttons to set the time (24h format, e.g. 8:30). Press START | STOP to confirm.

How to activate child safety?

In standby, press the START | STOP button for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the lock icon appears. To deactivate, repeat the operation.

What types of utensils can I use?

Use microwave-safe utensils: glass, ceramic, special microwave plastic. Avoid metal, melamine, and airtight containers. For grill, use the provided tripod.

Can I cook hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs in the microwave?

No, whole eggs (hard or soft-boiled) may explode even after cooking. Never cook them in this oven.

How to clean the inside of the oven?

Use the Aqua Clean function: place a glass of 200 ml water on the turntable, select SELF-CLEANING, press START | STOP for 8 minutes. Then wipe inside with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive products.

What to do if the oven does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and the wall socket works. Check the fuse (250V/10A) or circuit breaker. If nothing works, contact after-sales service.

How to program a delayed start?

Turn the selector to DELAYED START, set the start time with the < or > buttons, then select the cooking function (e.g. Grill) and set the duration. Press START | STOP to confirm.

What is the grill power?

The grill power is 1200 W. It can be used alone or in combined mode (microwave+grill).

How to use the Simplicity selector?

Turn the selector to the icon corresponding to the desired food (e.g. cup of coffee, popcorn, vegetables, etc.). The oven offers a default cooking time that you can adjust with the < or > buttons. To cancel, set the selector to 'O'.

The oven makes noise during operation, is it normal?

A ventilation and turntable rotation noise is normal. The noise level is below 58 dB(A). If the noise becomes excessive, clean the roller ring and the bottom of the cavity.

1. When the oven is in standby mode, turn the knob to set the time.
2. Use the <HAN> buttons to set the clock to 8:30. Press the START/STOP button to confirm the number of minutes.

2. PROGRAM TIME

This function allows you to set a delayed start for the cooking program. Before using this program, always set the clock to the correct time.

Example: It is 9:00, and you want the oven to start cooking at 10:30, with a cooking time of 5 minutes.

1. In standby mode, turn the knob to the PROGRAM TIME symbol.
2. Use the buttons to set the clock to 10:30.
3. Turn the knob to the desired program position.
4. Press <mH> to set the cooking time to 5:00 minutes.
5. Start the program by pressing START/STOP.

HANOMEHA:

At the selected time, which is 10:30, the selected program will turn on automatically.

3. AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING

This function is used so that the oven does not need to use the defrost function without supervision. The indicator for the defrosting of the oven will be shown on the display, and the function cannot be programmed or turned on while this function is active.

To start the defrosting of the oven: When the oven is in standby mode, press the START/STOP button and hold it for 5 seconds. An audible signal will sound and the defrosting indicator will appear.

To stop the defrosting of the oven: Press the START/STOP button and hold it for 5 seconds, or the defrosting indicator will turn off and the display will show the time.

4. AUTOMATIC MENU

Pour 200ml of water into the container and close the door. To start the automatic cooking program, press the START/STOP button. After the time has elapsed, take out the container and clean the interior with a dry cloth.

If you want to adjust the cooking time of the function, you can do so by selecting the appropriate program function (MICROWAVE or GRILL) and before confirming, adjust the time by pressing the < > button.

6. USE OF THE FUNCTIONAL KNOB SIMPLICITY

The functional knob is used to set the desired function (cooking, defrosting, grill, etc.). The symbols on the knob represent the type of food for each function, but you can also use other types of food. On the next page in the table, the meaning and operation of each function are presented, as well as the required time for each function. You can adjust them according to your needs.

The functional knob also serves to interrupt or cancel the selected function, if you turn it to the initial position >0.

7. ECO MODE - ENERGY SAVING

Simultaneously press the buttons, and the display will show that the microwave is in Eco mode, which minimizes energy consumption.

To open the oven door, press the button and then pull the handle to open or close it.

1. Before cleaning, disconnect the oven from the power supply and remove the cable from the socket.
2. The interior of the oven should always be kept clean. When food residues, grease, or other dirt accumulate on the oven floor, simply wipe them with a damp cloth. The use of harsh detergents or abrasive cleaning agents is not recommended.
3. Clean the exterior surface of the oven with a damp cloth. To prevent corrosion of the parts inside the oven, make sure that water does not enter the ventilation openings.
4. Do not allow the control panel to get wet. Clean it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use detergents, abrasive agents, or spray cleaners on the control panel.
5. If you notice any discoloration on the interior or exterior of the appliance, wipe it with a soft cloth. This occurs when the microwave oven is used in very humid environments and does not indicate a malfunction.
6. Occasionally, it is necessary to remove the turntable and clean it. Remove the turntable and wash it in warm water with a mild detergent or in a dishwasher.
7. The glass tray and the turntable support (the lower surface) of the interior of the oven should be cleaned regularly, as while the oven is working, it may create stains. Simply wipe the interior of the oven with a mild detergent, water, or a glass cleaning product and dry it. The glass tray can be washed in warm water with a mild detergent or in a dishwasher, but the use of abrasive pads on the glass tray may leave scratches from food residue, however, this does not affect its operation. When you remove the glass tray from the bottom of the oven (inside the oven), make sure to place it back correctly.
8. To remove odors from the oven, you can do the following: In a deep dish suitable for microwave cooking, place a bowl of water, and into the water put the juice of one lemon. Then simply leave it in the microwave oven for five minutes. Finally, thoroughly dry the interior of the oven and wipe it with a soft cloth.

Carefully read the instructions and save them for future reference.

These instructions are intended for the user. They describe the cooker and how to use it. They also apply to different types of appliances, therefore you may find some descriptions of functions that may not apply to your appliance.

WARNING! The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop.
• Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch or remote control system in order to avoid a hazardous situation.
• Never replace the light bulb inside the oven. It must always be replaced by Gorenje service.
• Do not clean the appliance with steam cleaners, high-pressure cleaners, sharp objects, abrasive cleaning agents, and abrasive sponges and stain removers.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR GENERAL USE

Listed below are, as with all appliances, certain rules to follow and safeguards to assure top performance from this oven:

1. Always have the glass tray, roller arms, coupling and roller track in place when operating the oven.
2. Do not use the oven for any reason other than food preparation, such as for drying clothes, paper, or any other nonfood items, or for sterilizing purposes.
3. Do not operate the oven when empty. This could damage the oven.
4. Do not use the oven cavity for any type of storage, such a papers, cookbooks, etc.
5. Do not cook any food surrounded by a membrane, such as egg yolks, potatoes, chicken livers, etc without first being pierced several times with a fork.
6. Do not insert any object into the openings on the outer case.
7. Do not at any time remove parts from the oven such as the feet, coupling, screws, etc.
8. Do not cook food directly on the glass tray. Place food in/on proper cooking utensil before placing in the oven.

IMPORTANT - COOKWARE NOT TO USE IN YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN

• Do not use metal pans or dishes with metal handles.
• Do not use anything with metal trim.
• Do not use paper covered wire twist-ties on plastic bags.
• Do not use melamine dishes as they contain a material which will absorb microwave energy. This may cause the dishes to crack or char and will slow down the cooking speed.
• Do not use Centura Tableware. The glaze is not suitable for microwave use. Corelle Livingware closed handle cups should not be used.
• Do not cook in a container with a restricted opening, such as a pop bottle or sealed oil bottle, as they may explode if heated in a microwave oven.
• Do not use conventional meat or candy thermometers.
• There are thermometers available specifically for microwave cooking. These may be used.
• Microwave utensils should be used only in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
• Do not attempt to deep-fry foods in this oven.
• Please remember that a microwave oven only heats the liquid in a container rather than the container itself.

Therefore, even though the lid of a container is not hot to the touch when removed from the oven, please remember that the food/liquid inside will be releasing the same amount of steam and/or spitting when the lid is removed as in conventional cooking.

1. Always test the temperature of cooked food yourself, especially if you are heating or cooking food/liquid for babies. It is advisable never to consume food/liquid straight from the oven but allow it to stand for a few minutes and stir food/liquid to distribute heat evenly.
2. Food containing a mixture of fat and water, e.g. stock, should stand for 30-60 seconds in the oven after it has been turned off. This is to allow the mixture to settle and to prevent bubbling when a spoon is placed in the food/liquid or a stock cube is added.
3. When preparing/cooking food/liquid, remember that there are certain foods, e.g. Christmas puddings, jam and mincemeat, which heat up very quickly. When heating or cooking foods with a high fat or sugar content, do not use plastic containers.
4. Cooking utensil may become hot because of heat transferred from the heated food. This is especially true if plastic wrap has been covering the top and handles of the utensil. Potholders may be needed to handle the utensil.
5. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:

a) Do not overcook food. Carefully attend microwave oven if paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking. b) Remove wire twist-ties from bags before placing bag in oven. c) If materials inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn the oven off at the wall switch, or shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. CLOCK

The oven is fitted with a digital clock. When the oven is in standby mode, the clock can be set in 24-hour mode by pressing the CLOCK key.

For example: Suppose you want to set the oven clock time to 8:30.

1. In standby mode, turn the function knob to the CLOCK position.
2. Press the keys to set the time to 8:30.
3. Press the START | STOP button once to confirm the hour setting.
4. DELAY START

This function allows you to program a cooking program to start at a later time.

For example: Suppose the present time is 9:00, and you want the oven to start a 5 minutes grill cooking program at 10:30.

1. Turn the function button to DELAY START.
2. Press and keys to set the time to 10:30.
3. Turn the function button to GRILL program in counter-clockwise direction.
4. Press the or directly to set the cooking time 5:00.
5. Press START | STOP to start.

NOTE:

When it is time to 10:30, the desired cooking program starts automatically.

1. CHILD LOCK

This function is used to prevent unsupervised operation of the oven by little children. The CHILD LOCK indicator will show up on display screen, and the oven can not be operated while the CHILD LOCK is set.

To set the CHILD LOCK: In standby mode of the oven, press button START | STOP and hold the button for 3 seconds, a beep sounds and lock indicator lights.

To cancel the CHILD LOCK: Press and hold the button START | STOP for 3 seconds until lock indicator on display turns off.

1. SELF CLEAN FUNCTION

Place a glass of water (200 ml) inside and turn the function knob to the SELF CLEAN function. Press the START/STOP button to begin. After 8 minutes, remove the glass and wipe the oven with a dry cloth.

1. TIME ADJUSTMENT

To shorten or extend the operating time, select the appropriate function (microwave, grill, etc.) and before confirming, adjust the time by pressing the + or - buttons.

1. SIMPLICITY KNOB USAGE

The Simplicity knob is used to set the desired function (cooking, defrost, grill, etc.). Icons on the knob represent typical foods for each function, but they are also applicable to other similar types of food. On the next page, the table shows in detail the meaning and usage of individual functions and the pre-set times for each function. These can, of course, be customized.

The function knob is also used to STOP or CANCEL the selected function - just turn it to the start position (0). Tips for using the oven:

1. ECO MODE - POWER SAVING

Press the < and > keys simultaneously. The display will turn off and the microwave will be in Eco mode, which minimizes power usage.

To cancel Eco mode and turn the display back on, press any other button or open or close the door.

2. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to the oven walls, wipe them with a damp cloth. The use of harsh detergents or abrasives is not recommended.

When removing and cleaning the turntable base from the bottom part of the appliance, make sure it is correctly positioned afterwards.
7. To clean the oven, remove the baking tray and the grill from the oven, add water and a little detergent to a bowl suitable for microwave use. Place it in the oven and run it for 5 minutes, then wipe the oven well and dry it with a dry cloth.

DISPOSAL OF THE ENVIRONMENT

For example: If you want to know the time at 8:30.

1. In the clock display, set the desired time. 2. Use the plus and minus buttons to set the hour to 8:30.
2. Press START | STOP to confirm the time.

2. DELAYED START

You can use this function to set the oven to turn on at a later time.

For example: If the current time is 9:00 and you want the oven to turn on for 5 minutes of the program at 10:30.

1. Press the button to set the timer to 10:30.
2. Press the button to set the timer for the grill.
3. Press DIRECTLY to select the operating time of the device 5:00.
4. Press START | STOP to turn on the device.

NOTE:

When the set time of 10:30 has elapsed, the selected program turns on automatically.

3. LOCKING

Use this option as protection against children. Use it to prevent the possibility of children operating the device. The lock symbol is displayed on the screen, and while this function is active, operation with the control panel is impossible.

To activate the lock: In the standby mode, press and hold the START | STOP button for about 3 seconds, until the indicator for activation lights up. To deactivate the function, press and hold the START | STOP button for about 3 seconds until the light indicator goes out.

6. USING THE SIMPLICITY REGULATOR

The Simplicity regulator is used to select the desired operating mode (defrost, defrosting, grill...). The regulator positions correspond to typical dishes / products that are cooked in the selected mode, but in such a mode you can also cook other similar types of dishes / products. Below is a table with a detailed description of the functioning and use of the individual modes, as well as the preset time for each of the modes. The time, of course, can be adjusted.

The operating modes can be used for the intended purpose - simply return it to the initial position to cancel the selected operating mode.
