How to charge the battery?
First plug the charger (Typ 7101) into a 220-240 V mains socket, then insert the battery into the charging compartment. The red LED indicates charging, which takes about 60 minutes. The green LED lights up when charging is complete. Do not leave the battery in the charger beyond the charging time.
What type of battery does this device use?
The device uses a Li-Ion battery of 12 V and 2000 mAh (supplied with the device). Only use batteries recommended by the manufacturer.
How to adjust the tightening torque?
Turn the torque adjustment ring (mark 2) to select one of the 17 settings (screwing) or the max position (drilling). Choose a torque suitable for the task to avoid damaging screws or material.
How to reverse the rotation direction?
Use the slide switch (mark 4) above the trigger. Position R for screwing (right rotation), position L for unscrewing (left rotation). The central position is the safety position. Only switch when motor stopped.
What speeds are available?
The HI/LO selector (mark 11) allows two ranges: LO (0-380 min⁻¹) for screwing, HI (0-1260 min⁻¹) for drilling. The speed also varies continuously depending on trigger pressure.
How to clean and maintain the drill?
Clean the housing with a damp cloth (no solvents). Dry well. For the battery, fully discharge it every 2 months then recharge. Store the device in a dry, frost-free place (temperature < 50 °C).
What to do if the battery does not charge?
Check that the charger is properly plugged in and that the mains socket works. If the red or green LED flashes for more than 30 minutes, remove the battery, let it cool for 15 minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
What is the maximum drilling diameter?
Drilling is possible in wood up to 20 mm and in steel up to 10 mm. Use drill bits compatible with the chuck (max capacity 10 mm).
How to use the LED lighting?
The LED lighting (mark 9) turns on automatically when you press the On/Off switch. It turns off when you release the switch. Do not look directly at the LED (laser class 1).
