Getting Started

• Remove the appliance from the box.

• To ensure complete disconnection from the power input, the mains plug of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.

1. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.

Keep new and used batteries away from children.

If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Care for your product

1. Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.

2. Do not play music at excessive volume levels as damage to hearing and or the equipment may occur.

3. Do not use this unit in wet or damp conditions.

4. Always disconnect the unit from the mains power supply before cleaning. Clean the appliance with a soft, damp, lint free cloth. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners.

Power

CAUTION

• Risk of product damager! Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back label.
• Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord
• Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure you have completed all other connections

Place the unit in the desired position and unravel the mains cable. Insert the cable into the supply socket and switch on if applicable.

Auto standby

When playing media from a connected device, the Tower automatically switches to standby if:

• No button is pressed for 10 minutes,
• No audio from a connected device for 10 minutes.

Battery power

• Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to your set.
• Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
• Do not throw the battery into the fire, or exposed to sunshine or the like.
• If the liquid contained in the batteries comes in contact with eyes or skin, wash the area immediately and carefully with clear water and consult a doctor.

Unit power supply (mains 230V/50Hz)

Connect the power cable plug to the (230V) wall outlet.

Warning:

• Before using the unit, check that the local mains supply is compatible with the unit 230V (50Hz).
• Do not plug or unplug the power cable when your hands wet.
• When planning not to use this unit for long periods of time (i.e., Vacation etc.) disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
• When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, grasp the plug; do not pull the cord in order to avoid shock risks caused by the damaged cable.

OPERATION

Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds to turn ON/OFF the unit.

Adjusting the volume

Rotate the Volume knob clockwise to increase the volume.

Rotate the Volume knob anti-clockwise to decrease the volume.

Check the display, which will confirm the volume setting.

MUTE FUNCTION

Press the MUTE button on remote control, The volume is muted and the "Volume Muted" will appear on LCD display. Press this button again to cancel the mute function.

DAB Radio mode

Check that your Radio is in DAB mode. If you are not already in DAB mode, press and release the POWER/MODE button repeatedly until you are in DAB mode (check the display).

The first time you use the radio or if the station list is empty, your radio will automatically begin to scan for DAB radio stations. A progress bar will show the progress of the scan and the number of stations found during the scan will also be displayed.

If you were listening to a DAB station when you switched the radio off, then this station will automatically

be selected when you switch the radio back on.

Changing DAB stations

1. Press the NEXT/PREV button to scroll through the available stations.
2. When the station that you would like to listen to is displayed, press the STOP/SELECT button to select it. There will be a short delay whilst your radio tunes to your selected station.

Scanning for DAB stations

With DAB radio, additional stations and services regularly become available so it's a good idea to occasionally perform a manual scan to ensure that you have the most recent station listing stored within your radio's memory. If you have moved your radio to another location, e.g. if you go on holiday, then it's also a good idea to perform a manual scan.

In DAB mode:

1. Press and release the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button to begin a search for stations. The display will change to 'Scanning...'. A progress bar will display the scan progress and the number of stations found during the scan will also be displayed.

Prune DAB stations

You can remove the DAB stations in the station list that cannot be received in your area.

In DAB mode:

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button until is displayed
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Prune? Yes is displayed. Use the NEXT/PREV to scroll to Yes. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button to confirm and prune the station list.

Storing a DAB station preset

Your radio can store up to 10 DAB radio stations in its preset memories for instant access to your favourite stations.

1. Tune the radio to the DAB radio station that you wish to preset.
2. Press and hold the PROG/REP/PRESET button for approximately 2 seconds until Preset Store <1:(Empty)> is displayed.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to move to the preset location to which you would like to store the radio station (1-10).
4. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button, the display will confirm Preset X stored, where 'X' is the number of the preset (1-10).

Note: If there is already an existing DAB station stored under a preset, it will be over-written when you store the new station.

Tune to a DAB station preset

In DAB mode:

1. Press and release the PROG/REP/PRESET button. Preset Recall <1:> is displayed together with the name or frequency of the station stored there, or (Empty) if no station has been stored.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to move to the preset location and station that you would like to listen to (1-10).
3. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button. The radio will instantly tune to that station and begin to play.

Note: If no DAB station has been stored under the PROG/REP/PRESET button, 'Preset Empty' will be displayed, then the radio will revert to the previously selected radio station.

DAB Display Information

When listening to a DAB station, you can change the information that will appear on the display. There are several different types of information that are sent by the broadcaster.

Dynamic Label Segment (DLS) - this is scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster. Information could be the name of an artist or song title, DJ's name, contact details for the radio station, etc.

Signal Strength - A blank display will appear to indicate the minimum signal strength for acceptable listening. The row of solid rectangles indicates the actual signal strength that you are receiving. The stronger the signal, the further to the right the row of solid rectangles will be.

Program Type (PTY) - such as 'Rock', 'Pop', 'Talk' or 'News'

Multiplex Name - displays the broadcasting area and collection of radio stations on this frequency e.g.: BBC National DAB, Digital 1 Network.

Channel and Frequency - e.g.: 12B 225.648 MHz

Signal Error - This is displayed as a number between 0-99. It would not be possible to satisfactorily listen to a radio station with a signal error rate of 30 or above. Try adjusting the aerial or relocating your radio to improve reception.

Signal Information - The data rate at which the signal is being transmitted.

Time and Date - supplied by the broadcaster.

1. Repeatedly press and release the Menu/Info button to cycle through the different information options.

Dynamic Range Control (DRC)

In DAB mode:

The dynamic range for each radio programme is set by the broadcaster for each radio station and may vary according to the type of programme broadcast, such as pop or classical music or a chat show. The dynamic range control signal is transmitted in parallel with the audio signal for each programme and with your radio you can use this control signal to expand or compress the dynamic range (the difference between the loudest and quietest sounds) of the reproduced audio signal. Changing the dynamic range can affect the ‘loudness’ and/or ‘quality of sound’ of the programme that you hear so that it will be more suited to your listening conditions and your own personal listening requirements. e.g. in a noisy environment, where quiet sounds might be swamped, setting the compression to maximum will ‘boost’ the quiet sounds, whilst keeping the loudest sounds at their original level.

There are 3 levels of compression:

DRC off - no compression. This is the default setting.

DRC low - medium compression.

DRC high - maximum compression.

1. In DAB mode, press and hold the Menu/Info button until the DAB menu is shown.
2. Press the NEXT/PREV button to select the DRC menu and short press STOP/SELECT button to confirm.
3. In DRC mode, use the NEXT/PREV button to select "DRC off", "DRC low" and "DRC high", then short press the STOP/SELECT button to confirm.

FM Radio Mode

If you are not already in FM mode, press and release the POWER/MODE button repeatedly to go to FM mode (refer to the display).

If you were listening to an FM station when you switched the radio off, then this station will be automatically selected when you switch the radio back on.

Tuning to an FM Station

Press and hold the NEXT button for 2 seconds to scan up the frequency band.

Press and hold the PREV button for 2 seconds to scan down the frequency band.

Press the NEXT/PREV button to fine tune each frequency in 0.05 MHz steps.

Note: If reception is still poor, try moving the radio to another location.

Changing the Scan Setting

In FM mode:

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button until FM is displayed. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button. The current Scan setting will have an '*' in the top right of the display. There are two different options from which to choose:

Strong stations: The scan will only stop when strong signal strength is received, which should also result in better audio quality. When using this option, it is possible that a particular station that you are scanning for may be missed.

All stations: The scan will stop for every station it receives, even if the signal strength is poor.

1. Use the NEXT/PREV button to choose from the two options available and press and release the STOP/SELECT button to confirm.

Audio Mode

The radio will automatically switch between Stereo and Mono, depending on the quality of the signal being received, but you can override this function and manually switch between Stereo and Mono.

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button until FM is displayed.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV to scroll to

FM Display Information

When listening to an FM station you can change the information that will appear on the second line of the display.

Radiotext (RT) - This is scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster. Information could be the name of an artist or song title, DJ's name, contact details for the radio station, etc.

Program Type (PTY) - Such as 'Rock', 'Pop', 'Talk' or 'News'

Station Name or Frequency – e.g. BBC R4 or 93.30MHz

Audio Mode - Stereo or Mono

Time and Date - Supplied by the broadcaster.

1. Repeatedly press and release the Menu/Info button to cycle through the various information options.

Bluetooth Mode

You must follow several steps to connect your mobile phone:

1. Activate Bluetooth from your mobile phone (please refer to your phone's user manual)
2. Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds to turn on the unit, then press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly until the "Bluetooth" indicator appears on the LCD display. It will be ready to pair automatically.
3. Use your mobile phone to search for the Bluetooth device named "MIC200IDABBT".
4. Your mobile phone will find "MIC200IDABBT" and will present the option to connect or not. Please connect to it using the password "0000" (if any). When you are successfully connected, the Bluetooth indicator "BT connected" appears on the LCD display.

Automatically Connecting with Your Phone

Pairing is only needed the first time the unit and phone are used together. When the unit and phone have been paired once, they will automatically connect when the unit is on and Bluetooth is activated on the phone. The next time you power on, the unit will automatically connect to the most recently connected mobile phone.

Play from Bluetooth Device

After successful Bluetooth connection, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button to play. Press the PREV or NEXT button to skip the tracks backwards or forwards. To pause or resume play, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button again. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button for 2 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth.

Time and Date

The first time you listen to DAB radio, the time and date of your product will be synchronised automatically to that broadcast by the DAB service in 24-hour mode; which is automatically synchronized with daylight saving time, so there is no need to manually set the time and date.

If you do wish to set the time and date manually, turn on the radio and follow the steps below:

1. In DAB mode, press and hold the MENU/INFO button until is displayed.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button. is displayed. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
4. 'Set time' is displayed, and the hour digits will flash. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the correct hour. Press the STOP/SELECT button.
5. The minutes will now flash. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the correct minute. Press the STOP/SELECT button.
6. 'Set date' is displayed, and the day will flash. Use the NEXT/PREV button, together with the STOP/SELECT button, to select and confirm the day, month and year, using the same method used to set the time.
7. When you confirm the correct date, 'Time Saved' is displayed and the display returns to . You can now use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll and the STOP/SELECT button to select, as you did to set the time and date to change the settings for:
   12/24-hour clock display, the date format, DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY, and to opt to auto-update the time from the DAB signal, FM signal, DAB or FM signal or to decline updates.

Setting the Alarm

Note: Check that the radio has the correct time and date before you set an alarm.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the MENU/INFO button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to ''. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to ''. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select.
4. 'Alarm 1 (or 2) Setup' is displayed. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select.
5. 'Alarm 1 (or 2) Wizard On time' is displayed and the hour digits for the alarm will flash.
6. Use the NEXT/PREV button to set the hour for the alarm and press the STOP/SELECT button to select.
7. The minutes will now flash. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the minutes for the alarm and press the STOP/SELECT button to select. The duration time will now flash.
8. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the duration for the alarm. You can choose from 15, 30, 45, 60,

90 and 120 minutes. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select. The source for the alarm will now flash.

1. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the sound source for the alarm. You can choose from Buzzer, DAB, FM, CD or USB. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select.

Note: If you select DAB or FM radio for the alarm source, 'Last listened' will flash in the display. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select the last radio station tuned in DAB or FM (as applicable) will be used for your alarm.

1. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the alarm frequency. You can choose from Daily, Once, Weekends or Weekdays. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select.

Note: If you select 'Once', you will then be prompted to set the date for your alarm.

1. Use the NEXT/PREV button to set the volume for your alarm. Press STOP/SELECT button to select.

Note: Remember to set the alarm radio volume to one that will wake you. The alarm volume will increase progressively until it reaches the alarm volume you have set.

1. 'Alarm 1 Wizard' is displayed again, together with 'Alarm Off (or On)'. Use the NEXT/PREV button to choose 'Alarm On' or 'Off and press STOP/SELECT button to select. 'Alarm Saved' is displayed.

2. A bell symbol in the top right of the display, together with the digit '1' or '2' as appropriate, will confirm when an alarm has been set.

Note: If the time is not set or has failed to update from the radio signal, 'Time is not set' will be displayed when you try to set the alarm. The radio will then prompt you to set the time. An alarm can only be set after the time has been set.

Stop the Alarm

When the alarm sounds, press and release the POWER/MODE BUTTON. 'Alarm off' is displayed.

Alternatively, you can press and release the 'SLEEP/SNOOZE' button on the remote control (see Snooze function below).

Note: If you press the POWER/MODE BUTTON to stop the alarm, the alarm symbol will remain in the display and the alarm will sound again at the same time the next day, unless it was set for 'Once' only.

Snooze

When the alarm sounds, you may press and release the 'SLEEP/SNOOZE' button on the remote control. 'Snooze 9 minutes' will be displayed, followed by the snooze time countdown, until the alarm sounds again.

Turn Off the Alarm

Follow the steps for 'Setting an Alarm' and select 'Off' at step 12.

Sleep Timer

You can set your radio to turn off automatically using the sleep timer. You can choose from Sleep off, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 90 minutes.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
3. In System menu, use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press STOP/SELECT button.
4. Use the NEXT/PREV button to cycle through the different sleep time options such as Sleep off, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. Press the STOP/SELECT button to confirm.

Note: To cancel the sleep timer, follow the steps to set the sleep time but stop when 'Sleep off' is displayed.

Display Backlight Timeout

You can adjust the display backlight timeout. Options of permanently On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, and 180 seconds are available. An “*” will be displayed next to the current setting.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
4. is displayed. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll through the available backlight timeout options of On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 or 180 seconds. Stop when the backlight timeout you would like is displayed and press and release the STOP/SELECT button. will be displayed. You may now use the NEXT/PREV to scroll and the STOP/SELECT BUTTON to select, as you did to set the Backlight timeout, to change the settings for the backlight

Display Language

You may change the display language of your radio. There are 4 options available: English, French, German and Italian. An ‘*’ will be displayed next to the current setting.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to . Press and release the STOP/SELECT button.
4. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to your preferred language. Press and release the STOP/SELECT button to confirm.

Software Version

You can check the software version of your radio.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
3. In the System menu, use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press STOP/SELECT button.

The software version will be displayed.

Factory Reset

You can reset your radio and restore all original factory settings.

Note: Factory Reset may be used to clear the station list, the presets and sleep settings. This is useful if you move the UNIT to a different location (when you move from one house to another, for instance), as some stations may not be available in the new area.

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
4. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to .
5. Press the STOP/SELECT button again.
6. 'Restarting...' will be displayed. After a few seconds, the display will then go to Standby mode. When you next power on your radio from Standby mode, it will begin an automatic scan for DAB stations.

Playing a compact disc (CD)

NOTE: Never touch the laser lens inside the CD compartment. Clean the laser lens using a CD cleaner disc if it becomes dirty.

1. Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds to turn on the unit.
2. Press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly to select the CD function.
3. Press and hold the EJECT/+10 button to open the CD door and insert a CD into the tray (with printed label side facing up).
4. Press and hold the EJECT/+10 button again to close the CD DOOR and the disc will rotate for a few seconds, then play the 1st track automatically.
5. To temporarily stop playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button, and to resume playback, press it again.
6. Press the STOP/SELECT button to STOP play.

REVERSE/FORWARD

1. The ◀◀ and ▶▶ Buttons are used to jump to a different track number or to scan disc tracks at high speed.
2. Press the ◀ button once to hear the beginning of the current track. Press it two or more times to

hear previous tracks on the disc.

1. Press the button to hear the next tracks on the disc.
2. Press and hold the I◄◄ button. The current track will be scanned and move backwards to the previous track(s); When the desired track section is found, release the button and normal play will resume.
3. Press and hold the ▶▶| button, the current track will be scanned and move forward to the next track(s). When the desired track section is found, release the selected button and normal playback will resume.

REPEAT FUNCTION

The CD REPEAT button may be used to repeat a single track or repeat all tracks on a compact disc.

1. Press the PROG/REP/PRESET button once during playback, the "REPEAT ONE" sign will appear on the LCD display for about 2 seconds. The same track will be repeated over and over.
2. Press the REPEAT button a second time to repeat all tracks. The "REPEAT ALL" sign will appear on the LCD display for about 2 seconds.
3. To cancel REPEAT PLAY, press the REPEAT button repeatedly until "NORMAL" appears on the LCD display for about 2 seconds.

RANDOM PLAY

Press the REPEAT button 3 times during play. "Shuffle" appears on the display for about 2 seconds. All the tracks on the CD will play randomly.

PROGRAM FUNCTION

The Program feature may be used to program up to 20 tracks to play in a selected order.

1. While in the stop mode only (CD is not playing), press and hold the PROG/REP/PRESET button for 2 seconds, and the LCD display will show the wording "P 01" and "T 01" starts to flash.
2. Press the land buttons to allocate the desired track.
3. Press the STOP/SELECT button to select and store the track into memory.
4. Repeat step 2 to 3 to select up to 20 tracks.
5. To play the selected tracks (in the program mode), press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button.
6. Press the button to hear the previous program track or press the button to hear the next program track.

Note: After all programmed tracks have been played, the CD player will return to the stop mode.

1. To clear the programmed tracks from memory, press and hold the STOP/SELECT button.

MP3 DISC SECTION

1. Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds to turn on the unit.
2. Press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly to select CD Mode.
3. Close the CD Door and the disc will rotate for a few seconds and then play the 1st track automatically.
4. Press the |◀ and ▶▶| buttons to choose a track (or press the EJECT/+10 button).
5. To temporarily stop playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button; to resume, press the button again.
6. Press the STOP/SELECT button to STOP play.

Note: Because MP3 discs have a large capacity, disc access times are a little longer.

Repeat Playing Function

Single Track Repeat

Press the PROG/REP/PRESET button once to repeat a single track. The display appears as "Repeat one". Single Folder Repeat

Press the PROG/REP/PRESET button twice, and all tracks in the current catalogue will be repeated; the display will show "Repeat Folder".

Whole Disc Repeat

In Play mode, press the PROG/REP/PRESET button 3 times to repeatedly play all tracks on the disc. The display will show "Repeat All".

To cancel REPEAT PLAY, press the REPEAT/RANDOM button repeatedly until the "Normal" sign appears.

Random Function

Press the PROG/REP/PRESET button 4 times; "Shuffle" appears on the display.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin random playback.

To cancel the random function, press the REPEAT/RANDOM button repeatedly until the "Normal" sign appears.

PROGRAM PLAY

The tracks on the disc can be programmed to play in any order (up to 20 tracks can be programmed).

Note: this can only be done while in Stop mode

1. Press and hold the PROG/REP/PRESET button while in Stop mode. "P01" "F01" will appear on the display and "T001" will flash.
2. Press either the PREV or NEXT button to select the desired tracks in the album, then press the STOP/SELECT button to store in the memory.
3. The first track number is now stored in memory, and the program number changes to "P02", waiting for your next selection.
4. Repeat Steps 1 – 3 to program additional tracks.

After programming is finished, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button, and programmed play begins from the first programmed track. The player stops automatically after all programmed tracks have been played. (Press the STOP/SELECT button twice to cancel the programmed tracks memory).

Playing Music via USB

This device has been developed using the latest technical advances in the USB field. However, given the wide range of USB storage device types that are currently on the market, we unfortunately cannot guarantee full compatibility with all USB storage devices. For this reason, in rare cases, there may be problems in playing back files from USB storage devices. This is not due to device malfunction.

1. Press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly until 'USB' appears on the display.
2. Connect a USB storage device directly into the USB port. The display briefly shows the number of folders and then the total number of tracks. Playback will automatically start after a few seconds.
3. Operation of the control buttons is the same as for MP3 playback. Please refer to MP3 DISC SECTION operations as described previously.

NOTES:

• Always directly connect a USB storage medium to the USB port to prevent any malfunctions.
- The USB port is not designed for charging external devices.
- Important: Switch the device to a different operating mode before you remove the USB storage device.

Equaliser Function

With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):

1. Press and hold the MENU/INFO button to enter the menu options.
2. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
3. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to then press the STOP/SELECT button.
4. Use the NEXT/PREV button to select and press the STOP/SELECT button to confirm.

Note: you can set the Equaliser function (e.g. My EQ, Normal, Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Speech) according to your individual preferences.

Wireless Charger Function

Simply place your wireless charging device on the wireless charger area indicated on the top surface and charging will begin on contact.

USB Charging (5V Out)

The USB port is designed for charging external devices, such as smart phones.

AUX INPUT JACK

1. Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds to turn on the unit.
2. Press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly to select the Aux-In mode. 'Aux-In' will appear on the LCD display.
3. Connect the AUX connect wire from the line out jack of your personal player (e.g. portable MP3 player) to the AUX input jack.
4. Start playback from your personal player.

About the disks

	HandlingDo not touch the underside of disks.Hold disks by the edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the surface.Any dust, fingerprints or scratches may cause a malfunction.Never affix a label or sticky tape to the disk.
	StoragePut disks back in their case after use.Never expose disks to direct sunlight or heat sources. Never leave disks inside a car parked in full sunlight.
	CleaningUse a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the disk, working from the centre outwards in a straight line. Do not use solvents such as petrol, thinners, commercially available cleaners or antistatic sprays for vinyl disks.

Remarks:

Don't discard the electrical and electronic appliances in the regular waste disposal.

• Take them to a collection point.
- Some components in these appliances may be hazardous to health and the environment.
- In order to save energy when the unit has no sound output for a while, the unit will be switched to stand-by automatically. It can be switched ON by using the POWER selector again.
