Connect the device only as follows:

When connecting to power supply using the voltage converter ECG MP 2500 (not included):

  1. When connecting the voltage converter ECG MP 2500 to a household electrical supply, make sure that the voltage in your socket matches the voltage indicated on the voltage converter label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.

When plugged in the socket in the car:

  1. When connecting a 12 V DC socket to a car, connect the cable to the socket with the same voltage.

On boats: If the device is plugged in, make sure that the power source has a circuit breaker.

Danger of injury!

  1. Keep the 12 V DC outlet (cigarette lighter) where you would insert the plug clean and free of cigarette ash. Do not use metal or other conductive material when cleaning the outlet.

  2. It is important to check the state of the battery in cars that allow powering a device from 12 V DC outlets without the motor running, to prevent complete loss of battery power.

General safety instructions

  1. Do not use the cool box if the power cord or plug is damaged, if the car cool box is not working properly, if it fell to the ground and was damaged or if it fell into the water. DESCRIPTION

The car cool box is suitable for keeping the temperature of the already cooled foods and beverages (it is not to be used as a refrigerator).

It is suitable for mobile use, e.g. when camping or fishing. The device must not be exposed to rain!

The appliance is designed to connect to a 12 V DC car socket (cigarette lighter), in a boat or a caravan, as well as 220-240V mains power (if an MP 2500 converter is used, which can be purchased).

Warning: If you wish to keep medication cold, make sure that the cooling power of the equipment is suitable for the medication.

The pockets located on the outside sides of the car cool box serve as a storage space. Objects stored there are not being cooled.

ECG AC 3010 C - DESCRIPTION - 1

WARNING: THE LARGE ZIPPER POUCH THAT COVERS THE MOTOR MUST BE LEFT EMPTY AND OPEN DURING COOLING.

For easier access, the lid of the cooling bag is equipped with a small window for removing and inserting small items and with an inside pocket for small items (e.g. medication).

Since during the cooling the humid air inside the car cool box condenses, you can find drops of water on the inside of the bag in case of long-term cooling. It is a normal phenomenon, wipe the condensation with dry cloth if necessary.

USING THE APPLIANCE

For hygienic reasons, wipe the inside space of the car cool box with a sponge slightly moistened with a mild solution of dish detergent before first use. Then wipe the space with a sponge moistened with clean water and dry it.

Warning: Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaning powder. Do not wash the car cool box under running water and do not immerse it in water.

Note about cooling:

The temperature inside the cool box drops about 11 - 15^ below the outside temperature, if the outside temperature is about 25^ .

  1. Place the car cool box on a flat surface, which ensures enough free space for proper functioning of the air vents.
  2. Make sure that the food and drinks placed in the car cool box are suitable for cooling at that temperature and let them cool sufficiently before placing them in the device. We recommend that you pre-cool the car cool box for at least 4 hours to keep the food cooled to the required temperature for as long as possible.
  3. Connect the 12V DC power cable to the cigarette lighter socket or other 12V DC socket in the car. Use the MP 2500 AC converter (not included) to connect to a 220 - 240V mains socket.
  4. Close the lid of the car cool box.
  5. The car cool box starts cooling.
  6. You can turn off the cool box by pulling the power cable out of the socket.

Warning: If you plug the cable in the cigarette lighter in the car, the ignition must be on to supply the power to the car cool box.

We definitely do not recommend starting the vehicle with the car cooler connected. Always unplug the car cooler from the car socket when starting the car.

The car cooler has a consumption of up to 7 A during operation, so it is necessary to have the car battery in good condition and the circuit of the car socket protected by a fuse prescribed by the vehicle manufacturer.

If there are multiple outlets in the electrical circuit, we recommend that you only have one appliance connected at a time to avoid overloading the fuse and damaging the wiring.

Power saving tips

Choose a well ventilated place that is protected against direct sunlight.

Do not open the lid more often than necessary.

Clean the car cool box regularly.

Open the car cool box only for as long as necessary. Use a window in the lid to insert or remove small items.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the power cable from the cigarette lighter or an outlet before any cleaning or maintenance!

Wipe the inside/outside of the car cool box with a sponge slightly moistened in a weak solution of dish detergent. Then wipe the inside/outside with a sponge soaked in water and dry.

Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaning powders. Do not wash the car cool box under running water and do not immerse it in water!

For easy storage of the cool box it is possible to fold it.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible cause Solution
The car cool box is not functioning. There is no power in the 12V DC outlet (cigarette lighter) of the car.In most types of cars the ignition must be switched on to have power in the cigarette lighter.
There is no power in the outlet where you plugged the car cool box (in case that you used the adapter ECG MP 2500).Try to plug the car cool box into another outlet.
The cool box does not cool. The inside fan or the car cool box is damaged. This defect must be repaired by an authorized service center.
The connection to the 12V DC outlet (cigarette lighter): The car cool box receives power, but is not functioning. Unplug it from the outlet and take following steps. The cigarette lighter is covered by cigarette ash, which is the cause of insufficient power. If the 12V DC plug of the car cool box overheats when plugged in the cigarette lighter outlet, either the cigarette lighter must be cleaned, or the 12V DC plug was incorrectly installed.
The fuse of the 12V DC plug burned out.Change fuse (5 A) in the 12 V DC plug.
The car fuse burned out.Change the fuse in the car outlet (usually 15 A). (Please, follow the instructions in your car manual.)

For fuse replacement in the 12V DC connector see fig. B in the description

  1. Unscrew the top part of the connector. Attention: Be careful not to lose the metal pin.
  2. Replace the 12V fuse with another with the same parameters.
  3. Screw back the top part of the connector.
