Safety Instructions Risk of burning! The surface of the product can become very hot during operation. Caution! Hot surface!
- Do not operate the product by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are being supervised or have been instructed concerning the usage of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 years and being supervised.
- Keep the product and its power supply cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Children shall not play with the product.
- A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the authorised service agent in order to avoid hazards.
- The product is designed for the preparation of normal household quantities in the home, or in household-like, non-commercial environments. Household-like environments include sta kitchens in shops, oces, agricultural and other small businesses or for use by guests at bed-and- breakfast establishments, small hotels and similar residential facilities. - Fire hazard! Bread can burn! Do not leave the toaster unsupervised when in use. Do not use this product near or below flammable materials such as curtains. Please be sure to keep a sucient safe distance from flammable materials.
- Caution! Risk of burning hazard when not using typical bread for toasting. Due to smaller size or shape there is a risk of touching hot parts when taking out the toasted bread.
- Clean the crumb tray regularly and remove the crumbs.
1. Read this user manual thoroughly before
first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.
2. Use the product only for its intended
purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.
3. Never leave the product unsupervised
while it is switched on.
4. Do not place any objects on top of the

18. If a slice of toast is stuck in the toaster:
- Pull the plug from the power socket and let the device cool o completely. - Then remove the stuck slice from the toaster. - Do not use any metal objects for this and avoid any contact with the internal metal parts of the toaster.
19. Risk of fire and electrical shock! Do
not insert / place any large slices of bread, metal foil, or metal tools into / on top of the toaster.
20. Never cover the toaster while it is in
operation – it could overheat and catch fire.
21. Never toast bread with toppings or filling
in order to prevent the filling from dripping and igniting. This also applies for the usage of the roll attachement.
22. Never wrap the bread when warming it on
the roll attachment. Plastic will melt and can ignite. Aluminium foil reflects the heat and leads to damage of the toaster.
23. If the toaster begins to smoke, stop it
immediately and pull the plug.

Power cord with plug Note Due to the generation of heat, the metal casing at the top of the toaster might discolor. The roll attachment is intended only for crisping up rolls or croissants. Any other use can lead to damage to the device or injuries. Before first use Operate the product for a few cycles or about 10 minutes without bread in a properly ventilated room. Please ensure for sucient ventilation, as this may lead to slight smell and smoke, but this is normal and will disappear after a short time. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care. Do not dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE. Turn the knob until the end to the left to pop up the roll attachment. Fig.
Lay the rolls on the roll attachment. Fig.
Select a medium toasting level with the selector and press the control lever downwards. Turn the rolls occasionally. Caution In order to prevent damages to the product, never lay the rolls directly on the bread slots. Note Do not place any filled or buttered rolls on the roll attachment. Toasting bread Fig.
Adjust the right length of the power cord and lead the cord out at the side of the toaster. Connect the plug to a suitable power outlet. Fig.

Set the desired toasting level with the selector. Note The toasting is dependent on the type of bread. Levels 3 and 4 generally result in a gold- brown. Fig.

Prior to cleaning, pull the power plug out of the power outlet. Wait until the device has completely cooled down. Clean the exterior surfaces of the housing with a slightly damp cloth. Caution Never immerse electrical parts of the device in water or any other fluids during cleaning or operation. Never hold the device under running water. Never use solvents and abrasives, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects for cleaning. Solvents are harmful to health and attack the plastic parts. Wrap the power cord around the cord stem as indicated on the underside of the toaster. Store the toaster in a dry, cool area which is protected from humidity. Clean crumb tray Regularly remove the crumb tray from the product and remove the crumbs. Fig.
Unplug the toaster and let it cool down. Pull out the crumb tray and remove the crumbs. Wipe the crumb tray with a slightly damp cloth if there are heavy stains. Re-insert the crumb tray. Caution Never use the toaster without the crumb tray. Note Be sure to properly re-insert the crumb tray into the device. The best toasting result
1. Depending on the moisture content of
the bread, the degree of roasting should be adjusted. Choose a lower level for dry bread.
2. Choose a higher level for whole grain
bread, fresh bread or bread with an uneven surface.
3. If only toasting one slice of toast, place it
centrally in the toaster and select a lower degree of toasting.
4. Please note that the toast result will be
