11. Cover of the base and pedestal joint

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read carefully and save for future use!

Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and

situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage uctuation or the modi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance. To protect against a risk of re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that

the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.

2. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord is damaged. All repairs including cord replacements

shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!

3. Protect the appliance against contact with water and other liquids to prevent risk of electric shock.

4. The product is intended for household use only! Do not use the fan outdoors or in wet environments or

touch the power cord or appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.

5. Pay closer attention when using the fan near children!

6. Place the fan out of the reach of other objects so as to ensure free circulation of air necessary for its correct

operation. Never cover the fan openings!

7. Do not use the fan with timers, remote control switches and similar devices. In case of covered or

improperly placed fan there is arisk of re.

8. Do not use the fan in hot areas (close to stove, heating, etc.).

9. Never place the fan on asoft surface such as abed, sofa, etc. It must be placed on a rm, level surface.

10. If the device emits an unusual smell or smoke, switch it o immediately and call service.

11. Do not turn the device on or o by plugging or unplugging the power cord. Always switch o the fan using

the main switch rst, then pull the power cord out of the outlet.

12. Do not leave the fan with plugged in power cable unattended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical

outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.

13. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.

14. Do not stick your ngers or some objects in the fan openings.

15. Use the fan only in accordance with instructions in this user manual. The manufacturer is not liable for

damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.

16. This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas, including:

- kitchenettes in stores, o ces and other workplaces - appliances used in agriculture - appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential facilities - appliances used in bed and breakfast facilities

17. This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and older and by the physically and mentally impaired or

by individuals with insu cient experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the appliance in asafe manner and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations performed by the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

Warning: To prevent overheating, do not cover the fan. The fan must not be placed just below the outlet.

ASSEMBLY Notice: The fan may be used only if it is properly and completely assembled, including the base and the guard grill. If you have any doubt, have the appliance inspected or assembled by aquali ed professional. Stand

1. Assemble the cross legs 9 and using the 4 included screws attach the xed pedestal to this base 8.

2. Unscrew the safety nut of the telescopic part from the pedestal 0, to enable to put cover on the pedestal,

which covers the joint of the base and the pedestal.

3. Extend the telescopic pole 7 to required height and secure it with the safety nut 0.

1. Put the rear grill 5 on the body of the motor and attach it so that the tabs t into the matching openings.

2. Attach the fan propeller 3 on the shaft qf of the motor so that the that the notches match the grooves on

the shaft. Secure with nut 2. Tighten the nut counterclockwise.

3. Attach the front grill 1 to the rear part of the grill 5 and lock it using clamps. For safety reasons, the grill

has to be secured using the included nuts and bolts screwed into the holes around the perimeter of the grill (holes for the screws must be at the bottom).

4. Attach the body of the fan to the telescopic part of the pedestal and secure it with locking screw qs.

USE Make sure prior to each use that the fan is in good condition and the power cord is not damaged. The appliance must not be used when the power cord is damaged. You can control the functions of the fan either using the buttons on the control panel 6, or using remote control qg. You have to point the remote control at the control panel. Before you use the remote control, insert in it two AAA batteries (size AAA, not included). Pay attention to correct polarity of the batteries. Ventilation:

1. Plug the fan into an electrical outlet and switch it on by pressing ON-SPEED button on the remote control

or on the panel of the device. The fan starts at lowest speed.

2. Select the desired speed by repeatedly pressing the ON-SPEED. The indicator of the control panel shows

the selected speed: LOW (minimal), MID (medium), HIGH (maximum).

3. To turn o the fan, press on the remote control or panel of the device the OFF button. Then unplug the

power cord. Horizontal oscillation (left-right) Operated by the “SWING” button on the remote control or panel of the device. The proper indicator lights up on the panel. If you want the movement stopped, press the button again. The indicator “SWING” switches o . Vertical tilt (up/down) To set it, grasp the head of the motor and tilt it in the desired direction.   • Set the timer by repeatedly pressing the button TIMER on the remote control or on the panel of the device. Every pressing of the button extends the set time by half an hour until the maximum 7,5 hours. The LEDs on the panel show the set time (0,5h, 1h, 2 h, 4 h). The time is given as asum of LEDs (for example if the timer is set for 5,5 hour the LEDs show 0,5h+1h+4h).
  • If you want to deactivate the timer, set the maximum time and press TIMER once again (all LEDs turn o ).
  • To turn o the fan, press on the remote control or panel of the device the OFF button. Then unplug the power cord. When you are not using the device, always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.GB

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning pull out the plug of the power cord from the outlet!
  • Use soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use solvents or other chemicals.
  • Make sure that no liquid seeped into the motor.
  • If the fan is not used for long time, it is necessary to protect it from dust and moisture. We recommend that you store it in its original packaging.
  • When dismantling the fan, proceed in reverse order of the assembly. We recommend to keep the packaging for possible transportation or storage of the fan.
