4.1 Installation tips
The GigaView 911 UHD™ uses a very high wireless frequency (60GHz) to transmit the HDMI signal wirelessly. A limitation of this high frequency is that it is not suitable for sending a signal through walls, floors or objects.
- When installing, try to create a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver as much as possible and aim both front ends towards each other.
- Also, do not place the receiver behind a TV, as this may disrupt the wireless connection, making the range very short.
- For the best image and audio quality, only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables.
- Please be careful when connecting your HDMI cables. These can damage easily.
