Frequently Asked Questions - EORG920A SAMSUNG

How to pair the Samsung Level Link in receiver mode with a smartphone?
Slide the mode switch to the left (receiver mode) on the device. Then press and hold the Multifunction button for about 3 seconds until the LED flashes red, green, and blue. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select Samsung Level Link from the list. Earphones can be plugged into the audio jack.
How to use transmitter mode to stream sound from a TV to a Bluetooth headset?
Slide the mode switch to the right (transmitter mode). Press and hold the Multifunction button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Place the Level Link within 30 cm of the Bluetooth headset, then pair it via Bluetooth. Then connect the audio cable to the audio jack of the Level Link and to the audio output of the TV. Note: synchronization issues may occur; preferably use a TV compatible with aptX Low Latency.
What to do if the battery does not charge?
Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to the device and to a Samsung-approved charger. If the problem persists, try another cable or charger. If the battery is completely discharged, let it charge for a few minutes before turning on the device. If nothing works, contact a Samsung service center for battery replacement.
Can I connect the Level Link to two devices at the same time?
Yes, the Level Link can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously in receiver or transmitter mode. To add a second device, follow the same pairing procedure as for the first. Note that in transmitter mode with two audio devices, the aptX Low Latency codec is not supported, which may cause audio-video desynchronization.
How to check the battery level of the Level Link?
Simultaneously press and hold the volume up (+) and Multifunction buttons for 1 second. The LED flashes three times: red (less than 30%), yellow (30-60%), or green (more than 60%).
The sound is out of sync with the video on my TV. What to do?
In transmitter mode, synchronization issues may occur. Use a TV compatible with the aptX Low Latency codec. If you are using two Bluetooth headsets simultaneously, the codec is not supported; try connecting only one. You can also reduce the distance between the Level Link and the TV.
Can I use the Level Link with my TV wirelessly?
Yes, in transmitter mode. You must connect the Level Link to the TV via an audio cable (3.5 mm jack) and then stream the sound to a paired Bluetooth headset. Make sure the TV has an audio output and that the volume is set correctly to avoid background noise.
How to reset Bluetooth connection data of the Level Link?
Press and hold the Multifunction button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Then simultaneously press and hold the REW, FF, and Multifunction buttons for 3 seconds. The connection information will be cleared. You will need to re-pair the device with your peripherals.
The microphone does not work during calls. What to check?
Make sure nothing obstructs the built-in microphone (located on the device). Check that the device is worn correctly, with the microphone near your mouth. Adjust the volume of the connected device. If the problem persists, disconnect and reconnect the Level Link via Bluetooth.
How to clean the Samsung Level Link?
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use chemicals or liquids. Store the device in a dry place and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. For the earphones, wipe them with a slightly damp cloth and allow them to air dry.

Using the device

Bluetooth

About Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard that uses a 2.4 GHz frequency to connect to various devices over short distances. It can connect and exchange data with other Bluetooth enabled devices, such as mobile devices, computers, printers, and other digital home appliances, without connecting via cables.

Notices for using Bluetooth

  • To avoid problems when connecting your device to another device, place the devices close to each other.
  • Ensure that your device and the other Bluetooth device are within the Bluetooth connection range (10 m). The distance may vary depending on the environment the devices are used in.
  • Ensure that there are no obstacles between the headset and a connected device, including human bodies, walls, corners, or fences.
  • Do not touch the Bluetooth antenna of a connected device.
  • Bluetooth uses the same frequency as some industrial, scientific, medical, and low power products and interference may occur when making connections near these types of products.
  • Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by the Bluetooth SIG, may be incompatible with the headset.
  • Do not use the Bluetooth feature for illegal purposes (for example, pirating copies of files or illegally tapping communications for commercial purposes).
