Proper use

The SOEHNLE Aroma Diffuser must be used exclusively to improve the fragrance in a room.

We recommend using only fragrance oils by SOEHNLE. Please comply with the dosage instructions on the packaging.

Please read these user instructions prior to the first startup of the device.

This device is not designed for commercial use.

Remarks

• Operate the device only with the original power supply unit.
• This device may not be used by persons with limited physical sensory or mental abilities or persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are monitored by a person responsible for their safety or were instructed in the use of the

device.

Children may use the device only if they are over eight years old and if they are being supervised by a possible for their safet instructed in the u device.

• Do not fill with hot water (>40^) .

The device may be used only in dry environments.

Please be sure that it is not located near the vicinity of the power supply unit.

• The power supply unit must be connected in such a way so as to avoid risks in the event of a falling of the device or spilling of liquid.
• Never squeeze the power cord and never pull it across sharp edges.
• Do not operate the device near heat sources.
• Never operate the device with defective power supply unit or power plug.
• Do not take the device into operation if the product or

parts of the device show visible damages.

• Do not modify the device in any way. Have repairs to the device or the power supply unit performed only by an authorized repair shop or service centre.
• Place the device only on a solid, level, and moisture-resistant surface.
• Do not cover the device - particularly the ventilation openings.
• It cannot be completely excluded that some varnishes, plastics, or furniture care products may deteriorate and soften the material of the non-slip feet. Therefore please place a non-slip pad underneath the device if required.
• Do not place the device directly underneath a shelf or a wall unit; the water vapour could damage such.
• Aromas containing oil (e.g. eucalyptus oil) must not be used as these may damage the device. Use only water-soluble aromas.
• Do not transport the device

with a filled water tank.

Battery remarks

• Ensure correct polarity.
• Do not recharge.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not damage batteries or use force to open batteries.
• Avoid contact with fire, water, or high temperatures; batteries could explode, leak, and cause damages.
• Keep away from children. Consult a doctor immediately if a battery has been swallowed.
  Always change the complete set of batteries and do not mix different types of batteries.

A. Start-up Operation

Fill the device only while the power supply unit is disconnected!

1. Insert batteries into the infrared remote control (dia. 8).
2. Remove top part (dia. 1).
3. Fill with distilled water to the maximum mark (100 ml) (dia. 2).

1. Add 1 - 2 drops SOEHNLE fragrance oil (dia. 3).

2. Replace top part while ensuring perfect fit (dia. 4).

3. Connect power supply unit (dia. 5).
4. Place on a level surface (dia. 6).
   8.Switchon:

a. On the diffuser: The switch is located on one of the base feet. Place hand on device and push device toward the direction of the switch. Push several times to switch device off (dia. 7).
b.Using the remote control: Push key (dia.9).

Note: If there is no water in the device, the illumination can only be switched on using the key Pushing the key again stops the colour.

B. Setting up illumination and nebulization

a. On the diffuser (Image 7):

Second push: nebulization off, colour change stays on.

Third push: nebulization off and current colour stopped.

Fourth push: diffuser off

b. With the remote control:

Pushingthe key stops the current colour.

Pushingthe key again switches the illumination off.

Pushingthe key once more switches the illumination back to colour change.

Switch nebulization on and off using the key.

Switch diffusor off using the key.

Note: The remote control and the receiver in the power supply unit's cord must have visual contact (image 10).

Light and nebulization can be controlled separately via the respective keys.

If both keys are switched off, the device is switched off completely.

C. Cleaning

For reasons of hygiene the device must be cleaned after each filling - at least every three days. Before cleaning, dis connect the unit from the mains.

1. Remove remaining water.
   Do not use ventilation opening!
2. Use cloth and cotton swabs to wipe out water tank.
3. Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents.
4. Wipe the remote control using a damp cloth.
