Intendeduse

The Soehnle Aroma-Diffuser Bari serves exclusively to improve the room scent.

We recommend using Soehnle perfume oils. Please observe the dosage instructions. The use of other water-soluble, non-oil-based fragrance oils (e.g. essential oils) is possible.

Please read these operating instructions carefully before use.

The device is not intended for commercial use.

Tips

• Only operate the device with the original plug-in power supply unit.

• This device may not be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge. As long as they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from them on how to use the device.

• Children are not allowed to play with the device. Children may only use the device if they are over eight years old and if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from them on how to use the device.

• Do not fill with hot water (> 40°C).
• The device may only be used in a dry environment. Make sure that it is not in the immediate vicinity of the plug-in power supply unit.
• The plug-in power supply must be connected in such a way that there is no danger of the unit falling over or spilling liquid.
• Never clamp the cable or pull it over sharp edges.
• Do not operate the device near heat sources.
• Do not operate the device with a defective power supply unit or cable.
• Do not operate the device if the product or parts of the device show visible damage.
• Do not make any changes to the device. Repairs to the unit or the AC adapter should only be carried out in a specialist workshop or service centre.
• Place the unit on a firm, level surface that is insensitive to moisture.
• Do not cover the unit - especially the scent outlet.

• It cannot be completely ruled out that some paints, plastics or furniture care products may attack and soften the material of the anti-slip feet. If necessary, place a non-slip surface under the device.
• Do not place the unit directly under a shelf or wall cabinet. The water mist could damage them. Maintain a minimum distance of 25 cm.
• Do not transport the unit with a full water tank.

This product should not be treated as normal household waste, but should be disposed of at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. You can find further information about your municipality, communal disposal businesses or the company from which you bought the product.

First use

(see Figures 1.1 - 1.6)

Fill the device only when the plug-in power supply unit is disconnected!

1.1 Position on a level surface.
1.2 Remove the upper part.
1.3 Fill distilled water up to the maximum mark (80 ml).
1.4 Add two drops of Soehnle fragrance oil. Fit the upper part exactly.
1.5 Connect the power supply unit.
1.6 Switch on.

Scenting

By pressing the "SCENT" (A) button, you can switch the two scenting functions of the Soehnle Aroma-Diffuser Bari on or off.

1. Press the "SCENT" button once to activate the constant scenting mode. The green LED on "CONT." lights up.
2. The second time you press the "SCENT" button, the scenting mode interval is activated (scenting takes place in 10-second intervals). Yellow LED lights up on "10 SEC"
3. Press the "SCENT" button again to deactivate the scenting mode. No LED lights illuminate.

Light

By pressing the "LIGHT" (B) button, you can switch the two lighting functions of the Soehnle Aroma-Diffuser Bari on or off.

1. Press the "LIGHT" button once to activate the pulsating lighting.

2. The second time the "LIGHT" button is pressed the constant lighting is activated.

3. Press the "LIGHT" button again to switch off the lighting.

The luminous intensity in the constant illumination mode depends on when switching on takes place in pulsating mode.

Automatic shutoff

The unit switches off automatically when the water tank is empty.

Cleaning

(see Figures 2.1 - 2.3)

For hygiene reasons, the unit must be cleaned after each filling - but at least every three days. Before cleaning, unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet and the connecting cable from the unit.

ATTENTION!

Do not pour out residual water through the fan opening!

- Wipe the water reservoir with a cloth and cotton swab. (2.2)

- Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. (2.3)

Failure to comply with the cleaning instructions may have a negative effect on the function of the unit.
