How to customize the LED backlighting?

First activate the Customization mode by pressing the LED mode selection button (B) several times. Then press the Fn + P keys (or the indicated combination) until the backlight turns off. Press the keys you want to light up, then press the same combination again to save.

How to activate Game mode?

Press the Game Mode button (C) on the keyboard. When Game mode is activated, the Game Mode indicator lights up. This mode disables the Windows key to prevent interruptions during gaming.

How to adjust the backlight brightness?

Use the Fn + Up/Down Arrow keys (or the indicated combination) to adjust brightness. Four levels are available: off, low, medium, high.

What to do if the keyboard stops responding?

Try resetting the keyboard by holding down the Fn + Escape + Space keys (or the indicated combination) simultaneously until the backlight flashes twice. If the problem persists, check the USB connections or restart the computer.

How to reset the keyboard?

To restore factory settings, hold down the Fn + Escape + Space keys simultaneously until the backlight flashes twice. This clears all LED customization settings.

What are the available backlight modes?

Six modes are available: Fixed (constant lighting), Breathing (slow blinking), Trigger (lights up on press then fades out), Explosion (radiating effect on each press), Wave (light wave from left to right), and Customization (choice of illuminated keys).

How to use the multimedia keys?

Use the Fn + F9 to F12 keys (or dedicated buttons) for multimedia control: play/pause, previous track, next track. The volume wheel and mute button are also on the keyboard.

Is the keyboard compatible with Mac?

The keyboard is primarily designed for Windows. Some functions may work on Mac, but the Windows and Alt keys may not correspond perfectly. Game mode usage may be limited.

How to clean the keyboard?

First unplug the keyboard. Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust. For stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild screen cleaner, then gently wipe. Avoid any liquid entering the keyboard.

Where to find drivers or software?

The keyboard is plug-and-play and does not require drivers for basic functions. For advanced customization (macros, profiles), you can download the HyperX NGENUITY software from the official HyperX website.

Keyboard Installation:

1- Connect both USB connectors to the computer.

Function Keys:

Function Keys	Secondary Feature
	Change the LED Backlight brightness. There are 4 levels of brightness: OFF, low, medium and high.
	Switch between the LED backlight modes.
	Enable Game Mode to disable the Windows key and prevent accidental interruption during gaming. When Game Mode is enabled the indicator will illuminate.
	Play/pause ▶skip backwards or skip forward while listening to music or watching videos.
	Mute computer audio.
	Increase or decrease computer audio volume.

LED backlight modes:

There are six LED backlight modes: ▶ Solid (default) ▶ Breathing ▶ Trigger ▶ Explosion ▶ Wave ▶ Custom.

Solid: Constant lightning (default setting).

Breathing: Slow rhythmic blinking that mimics breathing.

Trigger: Individuals keys will light up when pressed and slowly fade after one second.

Explosion: A lighting effect will radiate from individual keys when pressed.

Wave: Keys will light up from left to right in a wave pattern.

Custom: You can choose which keys you want to light up.

Follow these steps to customize:

1- Switch the backlight mode to Custom.

2- Hold until the backlight turns off.

3- Press the key or keys you want to have backlight ON.

4- When finished, press again to save your custom backlight profile.

Keyboard factory reset:

If you are experiencing any issue with the keyboard you can perform a factory reset. You will lose your custom LED profile by doing this.
