G Quick Guide Controls and Displays Note *You can adjust the volume, or navigate through the menu structurebyturning the rotary control. Press the rotary control to conrm aselection. By repeatedly pressing the rotary control in the playback screen, you can show additional information, such as date, time or station (dependent on the operating mode and the respective stations, music les, etc.). 1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to specichazards and risks. Note This symbol is used to indicate additional information or important notes. 4.1 Switching the device on
- Connect the power cable to aproperly installed power socket. Warning
- Only connect the product to asocket that has been approved for the device. The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.
- Disconnect the product from the power supply using the on/off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cordfromthe socket.
- Press the [POWER] button to switch the radio on.
- Wait until the radio initialisation procedurehas nished.
- When you switch on for the rst time, the station search starts automatically.4
4.2 Language and setup wizard
The rst time thesystem starts theradiousesEnglish. To change this, proceed as follows: Press [MENU] >System>Language >Select language Conrm your selection by pressing the [ENTER] button. Note

5. Care and Maintenance
