USER MANUAL KHB600 Koenic
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
- Before connecting the appliance to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.
- For safety reasons, this class II appliance is provided with double or reinforced insulation as indicated by the symbol
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
- Caution: Risk of injury. The cutting blades are very sharp. Use care when handling the blades, emptying the bowl, during cleaning and storage.
Always disconnect the blender from the supply when unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. - Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before removing the ingredients that block the blades.
- Only use with the stand provided.
- CAUTION: Ensure that the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand.

This appliance is intended for processing food. Only use according to these instructions. Improper use is dangerous and will void any warranty claim. Observe the safety instructions.

Thanks for your purchase of a KOENIC product. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Before and after each use
Detach blending bar from the motor unit by turning it clockwise.

Wipe the surface of the motor unit and gearbox with a moist cloth or sponge. Never immerse them in water or other liquid.

Wash the blending bar under running water. Make sure that no liquid enters the hollow shaft. Dry thoroughly.

Wash all other parts in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Caution
- Never touch the blade, risk of injury.
Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Instructions for use
Note
Make sure that none of the parts is washed in an automatic dishwasher.
- Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
- For storage, keep the appliance in its box in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
- Remove chopper blade before storing the chopper bowl in the refrigerator.
- Chopper bowl and beaker are not suitable for microwave use.
Using the blender bar
Attach the blender bar to the motor unit by turning it anticlockwise.

Plug in the unit. Place ingredients into the beaker or any other bowl tall enough to avoid splashing.

Caution

- Unplug the unit when attaching or removing any of the attachments.
Make sure that the motor unit and the gearbox do not get in contact with any food or liquid.
Select the speed first. Then switch on the unit by holding down the power switch.

Dip the blender bar as deeply as possible into the ingredients.

Make sure not to operate the unit continuously for more than one minute. Unplug and let it cool down before using it again.

Speed settings
The processing speed corresponds to the setting of the speed control. The higher the setting, the faster the chopping results. Maximum speed can be achieved by pressing the Turbo button.
Work through the ingredients by moving the unit gently up and down.
Unplug the unit when finished. Use for blending, mixing or pureeing.


Using the chopper attachment
Place the chopper blade into the chopper bowl by its hub. Make sure it is locked by the pins.


Press the Turbo button and hold the unit firmly during the chopping process.
Put food ingredients into the chopper bowl. Observe the maximum markings max liquid/max solid.


Use the small holes in the chopper bowl lid to add extra liquid or oil while chopping.
Put chopper bowl lid on the chopper bowl. Turn anticlockwise until it locks.


After chopping process, unplug the unit from the outlet.
Attach the gearbox to the motor unit by turning anticlockwise.


Remove the motor unit together with the gearbox from chopper bowl lid.
Attach gearbox to chopper bowl lid; make sure it locks into place.


Detach the gearbox from motor unit by turning it clockwise.
Plug in the unit.


Detach chopper bowl lid by turning it clockwise. Remove chopper blade by its hub.
Caution
- Select a stable flat surface for chopping.
Always take the chopper blade by its hub, make sure not to touch the blade. - Pre-cut the food into small and even pieces.

Using the whisk
Insert the whisk into the gearbox. Attach the motor unit to the gearbox and turn it until it locks.


Place the whisk in the bowl, only then press the power switch. Use for whipping cream, beating eggs, etc.
