1. This appliance is only suitable for private household use and it is not designed for commercial purpose.

2. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

3. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the appliance can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to completely switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.

5. If the power cord should overheat, stop using the appliance and disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet.

Attention

Always ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before it is fully and correctly assembled!

Danger of hand injury! Handle the blade with care as it is very sharp!

Never use your hands to reach into the food container. Always use wooden or plastic spatulas, and only when the hand blender is not running.

Do not use this appliance for processing ice, hot liquids, heavy batter/dough, or hard foods.

Pre-cut the food into small and even pieces

Note

When pureeing food, make sure to use enough liquid (juice, milk, etc.) to obtain a smooth mixture. Adjust the consistency of the mixture by adding more liquid or soft solids

Speed settings

1 The processing speed corresponds to the setting of the speed control. Rotate stepless speed control to adjust the speed. The higher the setting, the faster the blending results. Maximum speed can be achieved by pressing the speed button II (Turbo).

Blending

Suitable for: Blending juices and shakes, mixing soft ingredients, pureeing cooked ingredients.

2 Mount the motor unit on the hand blender.

3 To do so, align the motor unit's □con with the blender's △con.

4 Rotate the blender in a clockwise direction until it clicks in place (now and lions are aligned).

5 Connect the plug to a suitable outlet.

6 Fill foodstuff into the measuring cup. Observe the maximum marking on the measuring cup. Dip the blender bar as deeply as possible into the ingredients. Work through the ingredients by moving the appliance gently up and down. Hold the blender vertically. Tilting it might lead to splashing foodstuff.

7 Set the desired speed selection. Press and hold speed button I. Turbo can be achieved by pressing and holding speed button II.

8 After use: Release the speed button and disconnect the plug.

9 The anti-skid mat can be taken out as a lid to cover the measuring cup and store inside the fridge.

Cleaning and care

Warning

Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from power.

10 Cleaning the motor unit: Use a soft, slightly damp cloth.

Warning

Make sure that no moisture is entering the appliance during cleaning.

Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.

11 Cleaning the measuring cup and mat: Use warm water and a mild cleaning agent.

12 Cleaning the hand blender
& attachment: Wash the blending bar
13 under running water. Make sure that no liquid enters the hollow shaft. Dry thoroughly.

• Wash all other parts in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp implements to clean your appliance.
  • Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry location, away from children and pets.

Disposal
