Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified service. Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified service.

Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.

This kind of appliance cannot function continuously, it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important information" in the instruction manual.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
Make sure the appliance is unplugged and switched off before inserting, removing or cleaning the processor bowl and other accessories.
The bowl and lid should be mounted correctly on the motor block before you plug it into the mains. The appliance is equipped with several safety devices, which prevents the food processor from working if anything is badly mounted (see the "Use" section).
Make sure your hands and/or any kind of utensil stay clear of blades in the bowl when the appliance is in use in order to avoid serious injuries.
You can use the spatula (to clean the accessories) only when the appliance is unplugged. Pay attention not to hurt yourself when handling the blades, as they are very sharp.
Before mixing close the lid of the bowl. Be particularly careful when mixing warm liquid, as projections could cause serious burns. Do not use boiling liquids for mixing or washing.
When using the blender, always close and hold the lid of the receptacle before starting to blend. In case the lid would come up during the mixing of hot preparations in particular (see "caution" on page 17), stop your appliance and take the lid off in order to release built-up pressure. Close the lid again and restart the operation, holding the lid firm.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food, which have to be consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.

Never touch the blades or other accessories when the appliance is in use. Furthermore, never try to stop the movement of the accessories in any way whatsoever.
Always use the pusher to push food down the funnel of the bowl lid. Never use your fingers, or any utensil.
Never block the safety device of the appliance.
The processor bowl can simply be washed under running water.
Be careful not to hurt yourself when handling, removing, cleaning or emptying the bowl.

Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This appliance is not designed for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min in which xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes. Any wrong use will invalidate the guarantee.

USE

To use the processor bowl (10), the safety lid (20) must be locked into place (fig. 1, page 6). Make sure the appliance is unplugged and the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) is on "0" position.

  • Place the processor bowl (10) onto the shaft (9) (fig. 2, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle reaches the switch connector (8) (fig. 3, page 6).
    Make sure the bowl is well fitted, if not, the connector switch (8) will not be engaged and the appliance will not work.
    Depending on the desired preparation, you will have to use various accessories. For more details, please check the instructions below.
  • Place the lid with feeding tube (11) on the bowl and turn it clockwise until the line on the lid ends up in front of the left arrow of the bowl. Caution: as long as the lid is not locked properly, the appliance will not work.
  • Plug in the appliance.
  • Turn the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) up to a speed between 1 and 4 depending on preparations.
    If you wish to use the appliance punctually, turn the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) to "0" and press the pulse button (5).

FUNCTIONS

a) Chopping

  • Make sure the appliance is unplugged, that the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) is in "0" position and that the safety lid (20) is closed.
  • Place the processor bowl (10) onto the shaft (fig. 2, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle reaches the switch connector (8) (fig. 3, page 6).
  • For chopping, place the blade support (18) onto the shaft (9) (fig. 4, page 6) and put the chopping blade (17) on the support (18) (fig. 5, page 6).
  • Then put the ingredients into the bowl (fig. 6, page 6). We advise you to cut ingredients like meat or vegetables into pieces beforehand in order to get a homogeneous preparation.

  • Place the lid with feeding tube onto the processor bowl as indicated in paragraph "Use" making sure the metal shaft of the blades gets into the hole in the middle of the lid (fig. 7 & 8, page 6).
  • Plug in the appliance.
  • For chopping, select a speed between 2 and 4. CAUTION: Do not try to chop very hard food (such as ice, sugar or coffee beans...).
  • When you use your appliance in an intensive way, it is necessary to make breaks of at least 1 minute between every operation to let the motor cool down.

b) Whisking

Do not use the whisking blade (16) to knead heavy dough such as tart pastry or pizza dough.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged, that the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) is in "0" position and that the safety lid (20) is closed.
- Place the processor bowl (10) onto the shaft (fig. 2, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle reaches the switch connector (8) (fig. 3, page 6).
- For whisking, place the blade support (18) onto the shaft (9) (fig. 4, page 6) and put the whisking blade (16) on the support (18) (fig. 5, page 6).
- Put the ingredients into the bowl.
- Place the lid with feeding tube onto the processor bowl as indicated in paragraph "Use".
This accessory can be used to whisk egg whites and prepare sauces like mayonnaise or custard.
Plug in the appliance and turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to a speed between 2 and 4.
It is possible to add ingredients during the process through the funnel of the lid.
- When you use your appliance in an intensive way, it is necessary to make breaks of at least 1 minute between every operation to let the motor cool down.

c) Grating / Slicing

Make sure the appliance is unplugged, that the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) is in "0" position and that the safety lid (20) is closed.
- Place the processor bowl (10) onto the shaft (fig. 2, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle reaches the switch connector (8) (fig. 3, page 6).
- Place the support (18) on the shaft (9) (fig. 4, page 6).
- For grating, slide the grating blade (13) into its support (15) (fig. 9, page 6). For slicing, slide the slicing blade (14) into its support (15) (fig. 9, page 6).
- Place the whole on the support shaft (fig. 10, page 6).
- Place the lid with feeding tube onto the processor bowl as indicated in paragraph "Use" making sure the metal shaft of the blades gets into the hole in the middle of the lid (fig. 11, page 6).
Cut the potatoes, carrots, cucumbers... into pieces and place the ingredients into the funnel of the bowl lid.
Use the pusher (12) to push the food down the funnel (fig. 12, page 6). Never use your fingers or any other utensil.
- Plug in the appliance and turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to "1" to start. Adjust the speed if necessary.
Always turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to "0" and unplug the appliance before emptying the bowl and be careful when handling the blades, as they are very sharp.
- When you use your appliance in an intensive way, it is necessary to make breaks of at least 1 minute between every operation to let the motor cool down.

d) Citrus press set

Make sure the appliance is unplugged, that the ON/OFF & speed switch (6) is in "0" position and that the safety lid (20) is closed.
- Place the processor bowl (10) onto the shaft (fig. 2, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle reaches the switch connector (8) (fig. 3, page 6).
- Place the support (18) on the shaft (9) (fig. 4, page 6).
- Place the strainer (22) on the bowl making sure its slot is in the direction of the bowl handle (fig. 13, page 6).
Put the cone (21) onto the shaft (fig. 14, page 6).
Cut the fruits in two and press the fruit halves against the cone (inner side of the fruit on the cone) (fig. 15, page 6).
- Plug in the appliance and turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to "1" to switch on the appliance. For a punctual use, you can also use the pulse button (5), to do so turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to "0".
- When you use your appliance in an intensive way, it is necessary to make breaks of at least 1 minute between every operation to let the motor cool down.
- Be careful not to exceed the maximum level indicated on the bowl and unplug the appliance after use.

e) Mixing with the blender

BE CAREFUL!

1) Your appliance is fitted with a security device on the pouring jug allowing the functioning of the appliance only when the jug and its lid are correctly placed on the motor base. If those conditions are met and the appliance does not start, call your after sales service.
2) Your appliance is also fitted with a security device on the lid. If the lid is not fitted correctly, the appliance won't start.

Before using the blender (3), the processor bowl (10) has to be fitted into the base and the lid properly locked. Do not put any accessory or food into the bowl.

  • Unscrew the safety lid (20) to remove it.
  • Open the lid of the blender, put the ingredients for mixing into the blender and add the liquid. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that the mixture does not go above the maximum level indicated on the blender jug (fig. 17, page 6).
  • Shut the lid with its cap (1) and screw it onto the blender. Make sure the assembly has been done properly (the lid and the bowl have to be locked).
  • Place the blender jug (3) on its connector switch (4) (fig. 18, page 6) and turn it clockwise until the handle is oriented to the left and the jug is properly fixed to the motor unit (fig. 19, page 6).
    Always respect the order of assembly as described above: first put the lid on the blender jug, then the jug on the base. Otherwise you could damage the safety system. If one of these two parts or both of them are mounted badly, the appliance will not function.
    Depending on the type of food, you can prepare up to 1.2 I with the blender.
  • Plug in the appliance and turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to the desired speed or use the pulse button depending on the preparation.
  • Never use the processor and the blender simultaneously.
    Once the mixing is done, turn the ON/OFF & speed switch to "0" and unplug the appliance. Wait until the blender has come to a complete stop before removing the jug.
  • When you use your appliance in an intensive way, it is necessary to make breaks of at least 1 minute between every operation to let the motor cool down.

  • Caution: your appliance is not designed to mix hot preparations and the plastic bowl could break otherwise. If nevertheless you wish to prepare hot drinks or soups, let the whole cool down to a temperature lower than about 60^ (tepid preparation) before pouring it into the plastic bowl. In case the lid would come up in spite of the precautions mentioned in section « Important safeguards », you can also empty part of the preparation and mix it in several times.

CLEANING

Cleaning the blender

  • Place the blender jug onto the motor unit as indicated in the paragraph "mixing with the blender".
  • Leave the processor bowl and its lid into place. Do not put any accessory or food into the bowl.
    Pour a little bit of hot soapy water into the blender jug. Then press the pulse button (5) for a few seconds.
  • Unplug the appliance, remove the blender jug and rinse it out.
    Use a sponge if necessary. Be careful not to hurt yourself with the blades.
  • Rinse the blender jug out once more and let it dry.
  • Rinse the accessories out and let them dry.
    The motor unit can only be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.

Cleaning the processor bowl and accessories

  • Unplug the appliance.
  • Turn the lid with feeding tube anticlockwise to take it off.
  • Remove the accessories and the bowl. Be careful not to hurt yourself with the blades.
  • Rinse the processor bowl and the accessories out and let them dry.
    Use a sponge if necessary. Be careful not to hurt yourself with the blades.
  • The motor unit can only be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.

IMPORTANT:

! Never put the motor unit under running water or into the dishwasher, but clean it with a slightly damp cloth.

! Handle the blades carefully when cleaning. They are extremely sharp.

RECIPES

DOUGHNUT PASTRY

For 250g of pastry:

125 g flour, 1 egg, 100 ml of milk, 1 table spoon of oil, a pinch of salt

Pour all ingredients into the processor bowl fitted with the metal chopping blade. Lock the lid on.
- Set the variable power control to position 2. Run the appliance until you obtain an even, well-mixed pastry.
- For a lighter pastry, replace the milk with beer.

MAYONNAISE

1 egg yolk, 1 table spoon of mustard, 112 table spoon of vinegar, oil, salt, pepper

  • All ingredients must be at the same temperature (but not too cold).
    Pour all ingredients, except oil, into the processor bowl fitted with the "whisking blade".
    Lock the lid on.
  • Set the variable power control to position 2.
    Liquidize for a few seconds. Then, without stopping the mixer, pour the oil in slowly through the funnel opening of the lid.
