Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when under tension or when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician! Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified service (^*)
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place any piece of your appliance into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use, especially if you leave the appliance unsupervised or if you assemble or disassemble it or before cleaning it.
This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops. Check the section "Important information" in the instruction manual.
It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
Do not put more than 1Kg of potatoes in each peeling and do not let the appliance working continuously more than 4 minutes.
The appliance is equipped with a safety lid that should not be blocked in any way, as this would enable uses that could be dangerous (sharp parts move as the appliance starts).
CAUTION : The cutter dish is extremely sharp make special attention during cleaning and use.

Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB/MAX xx min or xx is the maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.

CONNECTION

Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the bowl and the cutter in warm water. Then open the lid that is under the motor block, and bring out the cord. Close the lid (the cord comes out from the opening in the lid).
The place where the appliance will be located must be cleaned carefully. Fix the appliance on the surface with the help of the non-slip feet. In this way the appliance will not move during use. If it is not fixed enough, moisten the non-slip feet first.
Before plugging the appliance, make sure the power switch is in OFF position.
Now place the bowl on the motor block and the cutter on the shaft. Make sure all the parts all in correct position, otherwise the appliance will not work.

CAUTION

To obtain better results, make sure to use only regular new potatoes.

If you want to peel irregular potatoes, some parts may be peeled improperly.
- Put the potatoes in the bowl covering the cutter dish completely (absolutely necessary). Add 2 or 3 cups of water and close the top lid carefully with the help of the 2 clips. The appliance is equipped with a safety lid that will prevent it from working if the lid is badly mounted.
- Switch on the appliance (position 1). If it does not start, check the position of the lid. The appliance will vibrate but the non-slip feet will keep it from moving.
- Unplug the appliance after 2 or 3 minutes, open the lid and check if the potatoes are peeled properly. The water that has been put initially will probably be absorbed by the pieces of potatoes. It is recommended to add 1 or 2 additional cups if peeling is not completed.
- When peeling is completed, put the switch in OFF position, unplug the appliance and open the lid. Wash the potatoes with fresh water, to remove the peelings completely. Potatoes will be now ready for cooking.

IMPORTANT

The appliance is equipped with a safely lid that will prevent it from working if the lid is badly mounted.
- Do not try to block the safety lid, as in this case the appliance would work without lid and that could be dangerous (sharp parts move as the appliance starts).

CARE AND CLEANING

After finishing each peeling, the bowl and the cutter have to wash by fresh water.
Always unplug the power and switch OFF the appliance before cleaning.
- All the removable parts can be placed into the dishwasher.
- Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug and the peeler base in water or other liquid. After cleaning use a soft cloth to dry all the parts before storage.
