General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions very carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
- For safety reasons, arbitrary alterations and/or changes of the product are not permitted.
- When connecting the car loudspeakers also observe the safety instructions of the appliance to which they are connected.
- Do not store any magnetic storage media, such as diskettes, video cassettes etc., near to the car loudspeakers, since the magnetic fi eld of the loudspeakers can destroy the information recorded on these storage media.
Note:
- The guarantee becomes void for damages caused by neglecting these operating instructions! We are not liable for consequential damages!
• We are not responsible for damage to material or persons caused by inappropriate handling or neglect of the safety instructions! All guarantee claims become void in such cases.
Intended use
- The car loudspeakers convert the electric output signals of car radios or car amplifiers into audible sound waves and are only approved for connecting to the loudspeaker outputs of such appliances.
- Use is only permitted in cars or in closed spaces, thus not outdoors.
- Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms or similar rooms must be avoided. Any other use than described above damages the car loudspeakers and is dangerous, e.g. short-circuit, fire, etc.
- It is prohibited to adapt or change the entire product!
- The safety instructions must be observed!
Installation
- Modifi cations to the vehicle, necessary in order to install the car loudspeakers or other components, must always be carried out in such a way that they do not impair road safety or the constructional stability of the car. The operating licence becomes void for many cars already by sawing out a sheet metal part.
- If there are doubts concerning the installation position, please inquire at your car dealer.
- Before drilling fastening holes make sure, that no electric cables, brake lines, fuel tank, etc. are damaged hereby.
- When installing the car loudspeaker or the hi-fi system consider the danger caused during an accident by appliances breaking away. Therefore, always fasten each part securely and at a location where they do not endanger passengers.
- Make sure that the required space behind the mounting surface is sufficient for the installation depth. Also, consider the space which a lowered window requires when installing into the door.
- The mounting surface must be stable enough, in order to guarantee safe fastening. It can be reinforced with a wooden board if necessary.
- After having determined the mounting position for the loudspeakers cut out the installation openings for the loudspeakers.
- Install the loudspeakers according to the following illustration:

You can secure the cover with the enclosed kneading adhesive.
Connection
CAUTION!
- When connecting the car loudspeaker make sure that the connection cables are not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
- The loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outputs of car radios/amplifiers.
- Make sure that the values for impedance and load indicated in the technical data comply with the data of the connected amplifier. Otherwise, the car loudspeakers or the amplifier could be damaged.
- The appliance to which the car loudspeakers are connected must be switched off during the connection work.
Connect the loudspeaker cables of the car radio or amplifier to the loudspeaker socket tongues:
Large blade terminal = positive loudspeaker connection
Small blade terminal = negative loudspeaker connection

Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24-month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the appliance or its accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee service does not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor does it give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire appliance in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of guarantee
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
