To begin using the KUBE MILL coffee grinder, carefully follow the instructions below:

  • Unpack the machine carefully and remove all the packaging materials and promotional labels.
  • Before use, check that all the components are intact and have no cracks.
  • Position the machine on a at and level surface.
  • Insert the power cable’s plug into the outlet, and press the main switch (5) to turn on the machine. Never remove the protective cap positioned on the selector, below the hopper, which limits access to the rotating grinder in order to prevent injury. 4-2. OPErATIOn Once the above operations have been completed, the coffee grinding can be performed as follows:
  • Remove the hopper’s lid (1), pour the coffee beans into the hopper (2), and close the lid (1).
  • Set the adjustment knob (4) to the desired grind setting. (Ref. Chap. 4.3).
  • To start the machine, place the lter holder (with the desired lter inserted) on the dedicated support, and push it forward until it comes into contact with the grinding button (3). In this manner the ground coffee will be deposited directly into the lter holder.
  • Once the desired amount of ground coffee has been obtained, release the lter holder from the switch to stop the grinding. Once ground, coffee can quickly lose its aroma. For best results, use the ground coffee immediately after grinding. Avoid operating the machine without coffee inside it. 4-3. ADJUSTInG THE GrInD SETTInG The KUBE MILL coffee grinder comes pre- adjusted to the optimal grind setting for espresso coffee preparations. To change the grind setting, do the following:
  • Turn the knob (4) clockwise to obtain a ner grind.
  • Turn the knob (4) anti-clockwise to obtain a courser grind. The grinding adjustment must be performed gradually, grinding a small amount of coffee after each adjustment. If using lever- operated or semi-professional machines, Pavoni recommends using a ne grind setting. Do not change the coffee grind setting while the coffee grinder is running. If the coffee is dispensed slowly from the espresso machine, the coffee has been ground too ne. If it is dispensed too fast, the coffee has been ground too coarse. It is recommended not to turn the knob one turn with the motor stopped interno KUBE_2850088_09-2020.indd 6 15/09/20 15:317
