Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use. Do not use it outdoors (except if it is designed to be used outdoors). Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.

Special Safety Instructions for this Machine
Multi-rod Mixer
• Make sure that the motor casing is not wet.
- Pay attention to the slowing down of the motor after shutting off.
- This device is only intended for puréeing or mixing food and drinks.
- In order to prevent splashes, always insert the mixing rod or whisk fully into the food being mixed before you switch it on.
- Short-time operating: use the device for no longer than 3 minutes with soft foods and no longer than 2 minutes with hard foods. Leave the device to cool down for at least 3 minutes before using again.
- Caution: The blade of the bar mixer is very sharp! It should therefore be handled with extreme caution! DANGER OF INJURY!
- The appliance is designed to process only small quantities of food! Fill the container with the maximum quantities!
- Do not put hard foods such as ice cubes, nutmeg or large pieces of chocolate into the container! The blade can be damaged!
Electric knife
WARNING:
- Attention, the cutting blades are extremely sharp! Handle with extreme care when using the appliance and when cleaning the blades!
- Warning! Before inserting or removing the blades, always remove the mains plug.
WARNING:
Please be particularly careful when handling the knives. There is a danger of injury. Only hold the blades as near to the ends as possible or by the plastic handling surfaces.
- Do not leave the knife unattended when it is ready to operate.
- Never immerse the basic device in water.
• Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the device. - Do not use the electric knife to cut frozen foods or bones.
- Do not operate the knife for more than 3 minutes without a break.

Before Use
• Take out all the parts carefully out of the packing. Save the packing and the inner packing material for the whole duration of the warranty.
- Clean the device before using it for the first time as described in „Cleaning and Maintenance“.
Wall Mounting
The mixing rod (4) can also be attached to the wall using the attachment kit supplied (2).
- In order to do this, measure the distance between the two recesses on the back and drill two holes which are this distance apart. Make sure before you start that you will not damage any electrical wires hidden in the walls!
- Hang up the parts in the holder as shown in illustration ②.
Attaching Accessories
Attaching the Mixing Rod or Electric Knife
- Place the motor housing in position so that the arrow is pointing to the symbol on the mixing rod or electric knife (3a).
- Turn the attachments (mixing rod, electric knife) so that the arrow on the motor housing is pointing to the symbol 🔒
Remove the mixing rod
- Remove the mixing rod from the motor housing by turning it briefly in an anticlockwise direction.
Whisk
- If you would like to use the whisk (6), replace the mixing rod by the attachment.
Electric knife
- Mount the electric knife on the motor housing.
- Assemble the blades (9) as shown in the illustration (Fig. ③).
- Insert the ends of the knives into the retainer on the motor device. Use your thumb and index finger to press the two black handling surfaces together (Fig. ④).
- Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are firmly attached.

Using the Mixing Rod and Whisk
- Make sure that the plug is not inserted! Unwind the mains lead completely.
- Select an accessory. Please note the section „Attaching Accessories“.
- Cut the food to be mixed beforehand into small pieces.
- Fill the food to be mixed into the mixing bowl ((5) max. 0.5 litres). Insert the mixing rod or whisk completely.
CAUTION:
Do not overfill the container, as otherwise the food will not be reduced in size.
WARNING:
Do not pour any liquids into the mixing vessel that are hotter than 60°C! Danger of burns!
If you would like to use the mixing rod for puréeing soups and sauces in the saucepan, you should only use it for a few seconds. Pay attention to any hot splashes that may be emitted. Always immerse the mixing rod or whisk fully.
- Hold the device in such a way that you can press the ON/OFF pushbutton (1) with your fingers.
- Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
- Press the ON/OFF pushbutton (1). Move the mixing rod or whisk up and down.
- You can achieve pulse operation by pressing the button at intervals and then releasing it.
- The device switches itself off if you release the ON/OFF pushbutton.
- Wait for the knife or whisk to stop moving before removing the contents of the container!
- Pull out the plug from the socket after use. Clean and put the device away as described in „Cleaning and Maintenance“.
Using the Electric Knife
- Make sure that the plug is not inserted! Unwind the mains lead completely.
- Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz.
- Switching on: Please note: For safety reasons the knife only switches on when both buttons on the electric knife (7) are pressed at the same time. Hold one hand around the device as shown in Fig. ⑤ so that you can operate the buttons (8) easily.
- Do not exert too much pressure when cutting; allow the knife to do the cutting.
Always remove the plug from the socket after use and take out the blades after you have pressed the eject button (10). Pull the blades out carefully by the two black handling surfaces.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Always pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
- Removable parts that have come into contact with food (utensils and mixing vessel, blades) can be washed by hand in the sink.
- Please take care with the sharp knives!
- In order to clean the mixing rod fi ll the mixing bowl with water and operate the mixing rod as described under „Using the Device“. Then dry the mixing rod thoroughly.
- Rub the outside of the motor casing with a moist towel to clean it when necessary and then wipe it with a dry cloth.
- After cleaning, store the accessories in the wall holder supplied and hang up the motor housing by the suspension eye (see Fig. ②).

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of the guarantee
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
