Connected Wattage
In total the double deep fryer can consume up to 4000 W. For this connected load we recommend two separate power lines protected by two 16 A circuit breakers.

NOTE:
Each side of the deep fryer can also be operated individually as the device has two supply lines.

CAUTION: OVERLOAD:
- If you use extension leads, these should have a cable cross-section of at least 1.5 mm².
- Do not use any multiple sockets, as this device is too powerful.
Useful hints for use
- Always remove food residue from the oil (e.g., pieces of French fries). After several uses, the oil should be changed.
Use high-quality frying oil or frying grease.
- Fats and oils must be able to withstand high temperatures. Do not use margarine, olive oil, or butter: they are not suitable for frying because they start to smoke at low temperatures.
We recommend using liquid frying oil.

WARNING:
Please note this important information if you intend to use fat!
If you use fat, cut it into small pieces. Turn the thermostat to a low temperature and add the pieces slowly. Once the fat has melted and the correct oil level is reached, you can set the desired temperature on the thermostat.
Under no circumstances should you place the fat in the deep frying basket!
- To reduce the acrylamide content in starchy foods (potatoes, cereals), the temperature during deep-fat frying should not exceed 170°C (or possibly 175°C). Furthermore, keep the frying time as short as possible and fry the food only until it turns golden yellow.
- Please note that the safety switch (4) is activated when the control element is inserted into the guide mechanism.
- Choose the appropriate frying temperature and check the condition of the food to be fried. As a rule of thumb, pre-fried foods require a higher temperature than raw foods.
- Do not carry or move the deep fryer while the oil or grease is still hot.
- When frying dough-like foods, scrape off excess dough and carefully place the pieces into the oil.
- Please ensure that the handle of the deep fat frying basket has been correctly attached.
- Press the ends of the wire together at the free end of the handle.
- Insert the brackets into wire hoops inside the basket.
- The deep fat frying basket must not be more than 2/3 full. Do not overfill the frying basket.
- Rub dry humid foods with a cloth before frying.

CAUTION:
In the case of foodstuffs which are too moist (e.g. frozen chips etc.) large amounts of foam may form, which under certain circumstances may cause the oil to overflow.
Use
- Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off (The control lamps are off).
- Take the lid off the deep fryer.
- Remove the frying basket and fill the container with oil or grease (maximum 3 l). The filling level must be located between the minimum and the maximum level.
- Insert the plug into a 230 V, 50 Hz power socket. The red control lamp lights up. Set the desired temperature by turning the temperature control (2).
- The green control lamp lights up. Once the set temperature has been reached, the green control lamp goes off. Place the frying basket containing the items to be fried carefully into the hot fat.
- The green control lamp switches on and off several times during frying. This is normal and indicates that the temperature is controlled by the thermostat and is being maintained. Once the frying time is over (the frying times are to be found on the packaging of the food or in the recipe), please take out the frying basket.
- Let the oil drip from the food being fried.
- In order to switch off the machine, please turn the temperature regulator to MIN and remove the plug from the socket. Wind the mains lead up in the form of a spiral in the cable compartment.

Operating instructions
- Regularly remove food residues from the oil (e.g., with a skimmer). After multiple uses, the oil should be replaced.
For frying, use only high-quality oil for frying.
- The oils and fats used must be able to withstand heating to high temperatures. Avoid using margarine, butter, or lard. These types of fat are not suitable for the fryer, as they start to smoke at relatively low temperatures.
It is forbidden to use liquid oil for the fryer.

WARNING:
You will skip the most important rule if you want to use the fryer!
If you want to use the fryer, then divide the food into small pieces. Set the thermostat to the lowest temperature and then put the pieces of food into the fryer. As soon as the food has melted and reached the desired level, switch the thermostat to the desired temperature.
In no case should you put food into the fryer basket.
- To keep the formation of acrylamide in starchy foods (potatoes, cereals) to a minimum when frying in the fryer, it is recommended not to exceed the temperature of 170°C (approx. 175°C). Furthermore, it is recommended to reduce the frying time to a minimum and to fry until a maximum golden color.
- Please note that the safety switch (4) is pressed by the control device and will be activated. 5. SET THE APPROPRIATE TEMPERATURE, ALWAYS CONSIDERING THE TYPE OF FOOD. As a rule of thumb, you can use the following rule: foods that have been pre-cooked in the fryer require higher temperatures compared to raw foods.
- If the oil or food is still frozen, in no case should you turn on the fryer.
- Before lowering the oil, food products from the dough must be thoroughly dried with a towel.
- Check that the handle is firmly attached to the fryer basket.
Squeeze the ends of the wire together on the free connector. Insert the wire loops inside the box. - The fryer basket can be filled to a maximum of 2/3. Do not overfill the fryer basket.
9. Important products must be dried, pat them dry with a towel.

ATTENTION:
Strongly moist food products (for example, raw potato fries) cause strong foaming, which in the worst case can lead to oil boiling over.
Procedure for working with the appliance
1. Turn the appliance on and off (control lamps light up). 2. Remove the lid from the fryer. 3. Remove the frying baskets and fill the fryer reservoir with oil or fat (maximum 3 liters). The oil level should be between the "Min" and "Max" marks.
