How to clean the grease filters of the hood?

Remove the filters by pulling the lever, clean them with a sponge using a non-abrasive detergent or in the dishwasher at low temperature. Discoloration does not affect performance. Reinstall by following the reverse steps.

How often to replace the charcoal filter?

The charcoal filter is not washable. Replace it every 4 to 6 months, or more often with heavy use. First remove the grease filters, then pull the tabs of the charcoal filter downwards.

How to reset the filter notification light?

Press the filter symbol for 3 seconds until the light flashes (activation) or stays on (deactivation). Ensure the control panel is on and the lights are white.

The Hob²Hood function does not work, what to do?

Check that the hob and hood are compatible and that the function is activated on the hob. Refer to the hob manual. Infrared communication may be obstructed.

How to use the Boost function?

Press the Boost symbol to activate maximum speed for 8 minutes. The appliance then returns to the previous speed. Pressing again during Boost has no effect.

The hood stops automatically after a certain time, is this normal?

Yes, the Breeze function runs the hood at minimum speed for 60 minutes then turns it off. This refreshes the air after cooking. Use it only after cooking.

How to adjust the lighting intensity?

Press the lighting symbol to turn on/off. To adjust the intensity, hold the symbol down until the desired level is reached.

What to do if the hood does not turn on?

Check the power supply and fuse. Ensure the control panel is activated by pressing the On/Off symbol. If the problem persists, contact an authorized technician.

Can I wash the grease filters in the dishwasher?

Yes, the grease filters can be washed in the dishwasher at low temperature on a short cycle. Discoloration does not affect their efficiency.

How to replace the LED bulb?

The LED bulb is integrated and can only be replaced by an authorized technician. In case of failure, contact customer service. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.

3. INTENDED USE

3.1 Using the absorber

Check the recommended speed in accordance with the table.

3.3 Activating the maximum motor speed

When you press, the maximum motor speed is activated for 8 minutes. After this period, the speed returns to the previous setting.

When the function is activated, the pressure relief valve is not activated.

3.4 Filter warning

The filter alarm indicates that the filter with active carbon needs to be replaced, as well as the filter for oil mist. 4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

4.1 General information

The appliance must be set to the correct temperature and short cycles. The filter for the microwave may lose light, but this does not affect the operation of the device.

1. To install the filter in reverse, insert the first two tabs in the opposite direction.

Repeat the tabs for all filters, if applicable.

4.3 Replacing the filter with active carbon

To replace the filter:

1. Remove the microwave filter. See "Cleaning the microwave filter" in this chapter. 2. Pull out the connectors to the filter part.

1. Tilt the front part of the filter slightly downward, then pull it out.
2. To install a new filter, insert the tabs in the opposite direction. In any case, it is necessary to replace the filters every four months.

4.4 Cooker hood

The appliance is supplied with LED lamps and separate control of the lamp (filling mechanism of the light). These parts can be replaced only by a technician. In case of malfunction, see "Service" in the Safety Instructions chapter.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2.1 Control panel overview

3. DAILY USE

3.1 Using the hood

Check the recommended speed according to the table below.

♀1	While heating up food, cooking with covered pots.
♀2	While cooking with covered pots on multiple cooking zones or burners, gentle frying.
♀3	While boiling and frying big quantities of food without a lid, cooking on multiple cooking zones or burners.
♂and♀♀	While boiling and frying big quantities of food without a lid, big humidity.
♀♀	Refreshes the air in kitchen after cooking at a very low noise level. It can be activated and de-activated by touching the symbol. The function turns off automatically after 60 minutes. Use after cooking only.

It is recommended to leave the hood operating for approximately 15 minutes after cooking. The control panel is a sensor field. Touch the symbols for 1 second to activate the functions.

To operate the hood:

1. Turn on the appliance by pressing the ① symbol. You can now activate the functions.
2. To activate the function, touch the symbol. The hood's light works independently of other hood functions. To illuminate the cooking surface, touch. To change the light intensity, touch and hold the symbol again.

To turn off the appliance, press the ① symbol again.

3.2 Hob²Hood function

It is an automatic function which connects the hob with a hood. Both the hob and the hood have an infrared signal communicator. Speed of the fan is defined automatically on basis of mode setting and temperature of the hottest cookware on the hob. You can also operate the fan using the hob manually. The function can be activated from panel of the hob.

3.3 Activating Maximum Motor Speed

When you touch , the Maximum Motor Speed starts to operate for 8

minutes. After that time, the appliance returns to its previous speed settings.

When the function is turned on, additional touch on does not have any effects.

3.4 Filter notification

Filter alarm reminds to change or clean the charcoal filter and clean the grease filter. The filter indicator ⊕ is turned on for 30 seconds if the grease filter must be cleaned. The filter indicator ⊕ flashes for 30 seconds if the charcoal filter must be replaced or cleaned.

To reset the function touch for 3 seconds.

To activate or deactivate function:

1. Switch on the control panel.
2. Make sure that the icons are turned white.
3. To activate the function, touch for 3 seconds. If the function is activated, the filter icon flashes five times.
4. To deactivate the function, touch for 3 seconds. If the function is deactivated, the filter icon turns on for 4 seconds.

4. CARE AND CLEANING

4.1 Notes on cleaning

Cleaning Agents	Do not use abrasive detergents and brushes. Clean the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent.
	After cooking some parts of appliance can get hot. To avoid stains appliance must be cooled down and dried with clean cloth or paper towels.
	Clean stains with a mild detergent.
Keep the hood clean	Clean the appliance and grease filters each month. Clean the interior and grease filters carefully from fat. Fat accumulation or other residue may cause fire. Follow the instructions for cleaning the accessories when filter notification is on. Refer to Filter notification in daily use chapter.
	Grease filters can be washed in a dishwasher. The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, it has no influence on the performance of the appliance.
Charcoal filter	The time of saturation of the charcoal filter varies depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning the grease filter. The activated charcoal filter is not washable, cannot be regenerated and must be replaced approximately every 4/6 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage.

4.2 Cleaning the grease filter

Filters are mounted with the use of clips and pins on the opposite side.

To clean the filter:

1. Pull the handle on the filter underneath the hood (1) and slightly tilt the front of the filter down.

1. Clean the filters using a sponge with non-abrasive detergents or in a dishwasher.

The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, but this has no influence on the performance of the appliance.

1. To mount the filters back, follow the first two steps in reverse order.

Repeat the steps for all filters if applicable.

4.3 Replacing the charcoal filter

WARNING!

The charcoal filter is non-washable!

To replace the filter:

1. Remove the grease filters from the appliance. Refer to "Cleaning the grease filter" in this chapter.
2. Pull the tabs towards the bottom part of the filter.

1. Slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards, then pull.
2. To install a new filter, perform the same steps in reverse order.

In any case, it is necessary to replace the filters at least every four months.

4.4 Replacing the lamp

This appliance is supplied with a LED lamp and separate control gear (LED driver). These parts can be replaced by a technician only. In case of any malfunction refer to "Service" in the "Safety Instructions" chapter.

3. DAILY USE

3.1 Using the Aspirator

Plug the appliance into a socket with a table.

It is recommended to leave the aspirator running for approximately 15 minutes after cooking.

The control table is a touch field. Touch the symbols again for 1 second to activate the function.

To control the aspirator:

1. Press the button marked with symbol ①.

This can activate the function.

The light of the aspirator is independent of other functions. To illuminate the cooking surface, press and hold the symbol to adjust the light intensity.

To switch off, press the symbol ① again.

3.2 Function of the hob

This is an automatic function that connects the hob with the aspirator. The hob and the aspirator have a communication with an infrared signal. The fan speed is defined automatically based on the selected mode and the temperature of the hottest pot on the hob. You can control the fan manually with the hob. The function can be activated from the hob.

3.3 Activating the maximum motor speed

When you press, the maximum motor speed function starts to work for 8 minutes. After that time, the setting returns to its previous speed setting.

When the function is activated, additional pressing has no effect.

3.4 Information about the filter

The filter alarm reminds you that it is necessary to replace or clean the filter with active carbon and clean the grease filter. The filter indicator turns on for 30 seconds if it is necessary to clean the grease filter. The filter indicator flashes for 30 seconds if the filter with active carbon needs to be replaced or cleaned.
