How to empty the dust container?

Turn off the device, remove the dust container by pressing the release button, empty it into a trash can, then put it back until it clicks into place.

How to clean the filters?

Remove the lint filter and the lamella filter. Tap them gently or wash them in clear water (without detergent) and let them dry completely before reinstalling. Never use liquid on the filters while the device is operating.

What is the runtime of the vacuum cleaner?

The runtime varies depending on the battery and mode: up to 65 min with a 4.0 Ah battery in standby mode (non-electric accessory), 50 min in standby mode with electric brush, and from 10 to 35 min in turbo mode depending on the battery.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

With the fast charger, it takes about 4 hours to reach 80% charge (battery 3.0 Ah) and 5 hours for a full charge. Times may vary depending on the battery condition and temperature.

Can I use other batteries than those from the Power for ALL series?

No, only use Bosch Power for ALL 18 V series batteries. Using other batteries may damage the device and void the warranty.

What to do if the vacuum cleaner does not work?

Check that the battery is properly installed and charged. If the red error display appears, wait for the device to cool down or warm up. Refer to the troubleshooting table in the manual for other causes.

How to clean the electric brush?

Unplug the device. Remove the electric brush and remove any entangled hair or threads. Clean the brush with a damp cloth and let dry. Refer to figures 36-38 in the manual.

Can I use the vacuum cleaner on hard floors?

Yes, the device comes with an electric brush for hard floors. Use it to vacuum hard floors without risk of scratches.

How to mount the base station?

Choose a location away from electrical outlets. Attach the base station to the wall using the supplied screws (figures 3-6 of the manual). Make sure no electrical cables are in the drilling area.

Preventing material damage

Replace the worn nozzle.

Notes

• Like every Li-ion battery, the batteries from the Power for ALL 18 V series wear out over time, meaning that the battery capacity and the runtime decrease. This is a natural aging process and not the result of a material error, manufacturing error or material defect.

• You can delay the natural wear by using the following measures:

• Only charge the battery in the temperature range between 0^ and 45^ .

• Only store the battery in the temperature range between -20 °C and 50 °C.
• Do not store the battery for an extended period of time if it is fully charged or fully discharged.

Installing the base station

• Check whether any household wiring could be damaged in the installation area.

• Do not install the base station horizontally or vertically above, below or next to a socket.

Charging

Only charge the battery in chargers that are recommended by the manufacturer.
- Only use the battery in connection with the Bosch appliance.
- Charge the battery using the original charging cable ^1 or the original quick charger ^1 .
- Only use batteries from the Power for ALL 18 V series.

Note: The power supply unit on the charging cable ^1 and the appliance heat up while charging. This is normal and harmless.
