Keep all documents for later use or for the future owner of the appliance.
- Do not connect the appliance to the power supply until you have completely removed the protective and transport packaging. Keep children away from the packaging and its parts. There is a risk of suffocation from folding cardboard packaging and plastic film!
- Allow the appliance to stand for at least 4 hours before switching it on to allow the compressor oil to settle if it was transported in a horizontal position.
- Upon delivery, make sure that the product is not damaged and that all parts and accessories are in perfect condition. Be careful not to damage the refrigeration circuit.
- Ensure that the ventilation openings around the appliance or built into its structure are not blocked.
- Never use water to wash the compressor; after cleaning, wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth to prevent rust. Due to the weight of the appliance, always move it with at least two other people.
- Place and level the appliance in a location suitable for its size and use.
- Check that the electrical supply matches the data on the rating plate. If it does not, contact an electrician. For the appliance to work, a power supply of 220-240 V AC / 50 Hz is required. Unusual voltage fluctuations can cause the appliance to fail to start, damage the temperature control mechanism or compressor, and may also cause unusual noise during operation. In that case, it is necessary to install an automatic voltage regulator.
- For the United Kingdom only: The appliance's power cord is fitted with a three-prong plug (grounded) that matches a standard three-socket (grounded) outlet. Never disconnect or remove the third pin (ground). After the appliance is installed, the plug must be easily accessible.
