3. OPERATION
Ultrasonic cleaning operation
- Ultrasonic cleaning is based on the acoustic cavitation effect generated by the vibration of high frequency ultrasonic waves in liquids.
- These waves produce millions of tiny bubbles in the water or cleaning solution that implode violently due to vibrations, causing cavitation.
- Although in cavitation the bubbles are extremely small and individually release only tiny amounts of energy, the cumulative effect of millions of implosions creates a powerful cleansing reaction. This reaction consists of splitting the ionic and mechanical bonds of the dirt particles that are lodged on the surface of the objects, which causes the most encrusted residues to come out and be dissolved in the liquid.
Appliance operation (Fig. 2)
- Place the ultrasonic cleaner on a flat surface.
- Open the cover of the appliance and place the objects to be cleaned (dentures, retainers, etc.) into the tank. Place smaller items (rings, necklaces, earrings, etc.) in the basket and then place the basket in the tank.
- Add about 150 ml of water to the tank. Do not exceed the line indicating the maximum recommended capacity.
- Put the tank cover back on.
- Insert the plug into the socket on the appliance. Then, plug the power adapter into the mains. When the appliance is plugged in, the indicator light will turn white for about 3 seconds and then turn off.
- By pressing the Power icon briefly, the indicator light will turn white, and the appliance will activate both functions (ultrasonic cleaning function and UV function), performing a 5-minute cleaning cycle.
- On the other hand, if you press and hold the Power icon, the indicator light will turn blue and only the UV function will be activated.
- After 5 minutes of operation, the UV lights on the cover will turn off and the appliance will enter standby mode (the indicator light will turn off).
- After using the appliance, switch it off and unplug the power cable. Then, close the cover and empty the water from the tank.
- During the cleaning cycle, press the Power icon to switch off the appliance. If you wish to clean any other objects, switch the appliance back on and select the desired operation mode.
- For more thorough cleaning, add cleaning tablets for dentures and retainers or a special cleaning solution. Let the objects stand in the solution for 5-10 minutes before switching on the appliance to enhance the cleaning effect. If the object is very dirty, at least two complete cleaning cycles are recommended.
ENGLISH
Warning: if you wish to restart the ultrasonic cleaner, follow the previous steps. To avoid overheating of the appliance, it is recommended to switch it off after 5 cleaning cycles and wait 10 minutes before using it again.
