Instructions Inserting the batteries Open the battery compartment on the underside of the remote.. Then insert 2 AAA batteries. Make sure that the polarity is correct: the "+" and "-" markings on the batteries and in the compartment must match. - To check functionality, press the button. If everything is correct the red lamp flickers when the button is pressed. Adapting to appliances In order to control your appliances you must adapt or set the remote control to them. There are two ways of doing so: Direct control code entry using the enclosed list Example: setting to control a Panasonic television set:

gives, for example, the Panasonic Code - Please make sure you have selected the correct list for television sets (TV).

prepare code entry, keep the OK button and the TV button pressed simultaneously(!) until the lamp (LED) lights constantly.
3. Then enter the code
4. 1st number of code
(hundreds): Press the VOLUME+ button- 4 times for the 4 of 436. Press as often as the number indicates. (1=once, 2 = twice, etc.)
5. 2nd number of code (tens): Press the
VOLUME- button 3 times for the 3 of 436.
6. 3rd number of code (ones): Press the
CH/SKIPΔ button 6 times for the 6 of 436.
7. Finally, press the OK button again briefly. The
lamp (LED) goes out. - To enter a 0, do not press any button. - If lamp flashes twice code was not accepted and code input can be started again.
8. Then test the control code setting by trying to
control (in this example) your television set. If it does not work at all or not correctly try a different code from the list or code search (see below). the OK button and then again. - If your appliance has switched itself off, you must switch it back on again, e.g. on the appliance or with the original remote control, to continue searching. - When your appliance reacts you can also try
