PP (PINPOINT) button - Precise searching mode
- When a metal object is found, the user can precisely determine a location. Press the PP button on the handle. The display will show PP (see the figure below). The detector emits a sound and the indicator shows the likely depth of the target. Slowly move the probe above a sound area and release the button. Change a probe position keeping the same distance when the sound fades away. Hold down the PP button again to precisely determine a searching area. Repeat the steps above until the detector displays a stronger signal in the place where the target is located.
3.4 Cleaning and maintenance
Before starting the cleaning process, turn the device off and remove the batteries. Store the device in a clean, dry, cool place, protected against moisture, dust, and direct sunlight. Handle the device carefully to avoid dropping and damaging it. The detector must be used at normal ambient temperatures; working in extreme conditions may lead to sensor malfunction. Wipe the detector with a damp cloth without using any chemicals. When the device is not in use, turn it off using the main switch and remove the batteries.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
AA 1.5V / 9V batteries are installed in the devices. Worn batteries must be removed from the device in the same way as they were installed. Recycle batteries.
