COOKING MEALS
Warning:
Do not use the appliance to cook or defrost frozen food. All foods must be completely defrosted before processing by this appliance.
The plates and the metal surfaces of the appliance become very hot during operation. To prevent burns, use heat-resistant gloves and touch only the handle and parts designed for this purpose.
- Do not use metal utensils, which could scratch and damage the non-stick surface of the plates. When the food is cooked, remove it from the plates using wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils.
Notes:
• You can use the grill in 3 positions. 1) Baking2) Grilling 3) BBQ.
- Reaching the working temperature takes about 2 to 3 minutes depending on the set temperature.

- Food preparation time depends on the type and thickness of the food.
- The foods should be thoroughly cooked before eating. If you are not sure, you should extend the cooking time a bit.
• Always rub the plates lightly with butter, baking fat or oil. - For a better inclination of the grill, adjust the legs located on the bottom.
BAKING PLATES
- The baking plates with smooth surface are suitable for cooking potatoes, mushrooms, chopped vegetables, seafood, various omelettes (omelettes, lobsters or tortillas) and all meats whose cooking requires quick sear and "locking", to stay juicy – e.g. steaks or pork tenderloin
- Baking plates with ribbed surface are suitable for baking (panini, sandwiches, toasts), larger pieces of vegetables, etc.
- It is also possible to combine the plates differently as needed. For example, if you use the grill in a fully open position, you can grill meat on a smooth stove and roast a side dish on a ribbed stove.
Removal and placement of baking plates
The baking plates are fixed in the body of the grill using a magnetic mechanism. To remove them, grasp the plate with both hands by the protrusions on its sides, lift the device away from the body and pull it towards you. To seat the plates back, repeat the procedure in reverse order, ensuring proper securing in the area of the protrusions at the back of the plate.
Always handle the plates after they have cooled down completely!
Grill on/off
- Make sure that the drip tray is properly inserted in the appliance.
- Make sure that the grilling plates are properly set and secured.
- Place the grill on a level and dry surface and plug the power cable in the electrical outlet. All symbols will be illuminated on the display, which will then turn off and only the main switch symbol will remain illuminated.
Note: After connecting the grill to the mains, automatic testing of the grill will take place.
- Now the grill can be switched on and the time and temperature can be set.
Always switch off the grill with the main switch and then disconnect it from the power grid.
Temperature settings
- Press F/C to select whether to set the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
- Press the plate symbol (top (8b) / bottom (8a)) for which you want to set the temperature and use the +/- symbols to select the desired temperature.
- Repeat the same procedure on the second plate.
- The plate symbol lights up green. The grill is fully preheated as soon as the light (s) go off.
- The temperature range is 80–230 ^ C. The temperature is switched after 15 ^ C.
Note: Leave the grill closed during heating up.
Timer setting (timer)
- Press the timer symbol (8c).
- Press the +/- symbols repeatedly to set the desired grilling time.
- The timer can be set by minute increments for 1–99 minutes.
Note: The countdown time is independent of the temperature of the plates and you can change the temperature during countdown any way you like. Countdown begins when the set value is permanently lit on the display. The set grilling time can be cancelled by turning off the plate.
After reaching the set time, the thermostat switches off the baking plates and warns about this event by repeatedly beeping (5times).
The positions of the baking surfaces and the adjustment of height of the floating plates
Baking: By sliding the slider on the side of the grill, you can determine whether the top plate will bake the food directly (contact grill) or leave a larger gap between the food and the top plate and you will only reheat the food from above.
Grilling: You can heat just the bottom plate and leave the upper plate fixed in 90^ position – position (2).
Setting the height of the baking surfaces:
Use the handle to open the lid with the upper plate (rider to adjust the height of the grill on the right side of the upper plate must be in the "OPEN" position).
- Lightly apply butter, shortening or oil on the plates.
- Place food on the bottom grilling plate.
Using the handle, close the upper plate. On the right side of the top plate is a slider that can fix the top plate at five different heights from the bottom plate. If you want to set the required height, raise the upper plate using the handle and move the rider in the position of the required height in the same time. Then slowly lower the top plate down until it rests on the stop.
BBQ (Opening the grill fully in 180° position):
- This position (3) provides a bigger grilling surface and allows separate cooking of foods, e.g. when grilling meat and vegetables in the same time.
Set grill to (BBQ) position
- Allow the grill to heat to the desired temperature.
- Grasp the handle, hold the "OPEN 180" button on the right side of the appliance and use the handle at the same time to carefully place the cooktop in a horizontal position. You can use the handle then as a support for the opened upper plate.
Adjusting the inclination of the grill
Some dishes (e.g. eggs or pancakes) require a perfect level, on the contrary, a slight inclination is suitable for the preparation of fatty meat, which will allow the baking to drain into the drip tray. To do this, the inclination of the grill can be adjusted using the tilting feet on the underside of the appliance.
