CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CARRYCOT
CANOPY
The carrycot has a sun canopy and a windshield that can be adjusted to different positions.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE THE SUN CANOPY
1 - Check that the clip on the end of the metal arch is hooked to the buttons on the fabric part. If the buttons are secured correctly, the two ends of the metal arch are clearly visible (fig 1).
2 - Insert the two metal ends into the appropriate supports B and C, located in the central part of the carrycot, until a click is heard, indicating that they are locked correctly into position (diagram 2 A); then fix the 4 pins of the rear arch (diagram 2 B).
NB:The connection system is set inside plastic supports B and C, the round button on the support only serves to hook on the hood (see point 3).
3 - To remove the canopy, first extract the 4 pins of the rear arch (diagram 3A), then release the front arch, pressing the two buttons located on the base of the locking device (diagram 3B).
WARNING: The incorrect unlocking of the canopy may cause the breaking of the pins.
SUN VISOR
4 - The canopy has an exclusive sun visor. When not in use, the sun visor can be folded inside the canopy (diagram 4).
Inside the hood, between the visor and the first section, there is a fabric ring from which you can hang soft toys, with convenient hooks (figure 4 a).
WARNING - use only Chicco toys with the following code numbers: 71530, 71328, 71329, 71330.
REAR OPENING
5 - To ensure maximum ventilation, the canopy has an adjustable rear opening. To adjust the opening, open the zip (diagram 5A) and fold the fabric panel onto the upper part of the canopy (diagram 5 B).
ADJUSTABLE BACKREST -COMFORT SYSTEM
6 - The backrest of the carrycot can be adjusted gradually. To raise or lower the backrest, operate the external rear wheel of the carrycot, located near the end of the carrycot (diagram 6).
WARNING: It is recommended to ventilate the carrycot after prolonged use.

A) Carrying position
B) Intermediate position
C) Rest position
8 - To position the handle vertically, hold it in a central position and pull it in an upward direction, until a clack is heard, indicating that it is correctly locked into position (diagram 8a). To replace the handle in the rest position, press the two buttons located on the base of the handle at the same time, and then turn it in a downward direction (diagram 8b).
WARNING: The carrycot cannot be carried with the handle placed in the intermediate or rest positions, but only with the handle in the carrying position.
CLEANING
The canopy, the internal lining of the carrycot and the mattress can be removed and for
cleaning. It is recommended to refer to the cleaning instructions, shown on the care label, which is sewn on the product.
9 - Remove the canopy from the carrycot following the instructions indicated in point 3. Then remove only the metal arch, pulling it from one of the two ends (diagram 9); do not remove the rear arch with the 4 pins to carry out cleaning operations.
10 - Remove the mattress padding through the opening located on the rear of the fabric cover (diagram 10).

12 - Hold the handle in the carrying position and place the carrycot onto the armrests, with the footrest end of the carrycot facing the handle of the stroller (diagram 12).
13 - Ensure that the two joints, located on the two sides of the carrycot, coincide with the openings located on the armrests of the stroller (diagram 13 A); then position the carrycot. A clack will indicate that it is locked correctly into place (diagram 13 B).
