• WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended. • WARNING: A CHILD’S SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. • WARNING: Children should be harnessed in at all times and should never be left unattended. • WARNING: The child should be clear of moving parts while making adjustments. This vehicle requires regular maintenance by the user. Overloading, incorrect folding and the use of non-approved accessories may damage or break. • WARNING: before assembly, check that the product and all of its components have not been damaged during transportation. Should any part be damaged do not use, and keep out of reach of children. • WARNING: This vehicle is intended for use for children aged between 0 and 36 months of age and up to weighing up to 15 kg. • It is recommended that the backrest should be used in its most reclined position for children from birth to 6 months of age. • WARNING: Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use. In particular, ensure that the stroller is locked in the open position, by checking that the rear locking device is effectively locked. • Do not overload the storage basket. Maximum weight 5 kg. • Do not carry more than one child at a time. • Do not use accessories, spare parts, or any component not supplied or approved by the manufacturer, as they may make the stroller unsafe. • WARNING: Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the pushchair. • WARNING: the use of the crotch strap and safety harness is necessary to guarantee the safety of your child. Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt. • Ensure that the person using the stroller knows how to use it safely. • WARNING: when opening or closing the stroller, ensure that your child is at a safe distance. Do not attempt to open or close the stroller
with a child on board. Ensure that during these operations, the movable parts of the stroller do not come into contact with your child.
Always apply the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary. WARNING: never leave the stroller on a sloped surface with a child on board, even with the brakes applied. Do not let other children play unattended close to the stroller or climb on it. To prevent the risk of choking, do not give to your child, or place near it, any objects with strings. WARNING: Do not use the stroller on stairs or elevators: it could cause the loss of control of the stroller. Pay special attention when manoeuvring the stroller up or down pavements or a step. If the stroller is left exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, allow it to cool before placing your child in it. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the materials and fabric to fade. Do not use the product if some of its parts are broken, torn or missing. WARNING: When it is not used, the stroller must be kept away from the reach of children. WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating. Prevent the stroller from coming into contact with salt water. It may cause the formation of rust. Do not use the stroller on the beach. WARNING: This product must only be pushed by an adult. WARNING Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE The cleaning and maintenance of this product must be carried out on a regular basis by the user. The cleaning and maintenance of the stroller must only be carried out by an adult.
CLEANING The cover can be removed (please refer to the section “How to
Remove the Fabric Cover”). Please refer to the care labels for instructions on how to clean the fabric parts. Below are the cleaning symbols and their meanings: Wash by hand in cold water Do not bleach Do not tumble dry Do not iron Do not dry clean Periodically wipe clean plastic parts with a soft damp cloth. Always 18
dry the metal parts to prevent the formation of rust if the stroller has come into contact with water.
To remove the fabric cover, hold the stroller in a semi-closed position with the safety harness open.
10. Raise the leg rest and remove the fabric cover, taking care to slide the safety harness through the cover (diag. 10). 11. Unfasten the press studs in the points shown in diagram 11A-11B. 12. Unfasten the press studs located on the armrests (diag. 12). 13. Lastly, remove the cover from the backrest, pulling it in an upward direction (diag. 13).
MAINTENANCE Lubricate the moving parts only if necessary, with a light application of a silicone based lubricant. Regularly check the condition of the wheels and, keep them clean of dust and sand. To avoid friction that may prevent the correct operation of the stroller, ensure that all the movable plastic parts placed along the metal frame are clean of dust, dirt or sand. Keep the stroller in a dry place.
HOW TO FIT THE FABRIC COVER To fit the fabric cover to the stroller, carry out the following operations.
14. Fit the fabric cover on the backrest of the stroller (diag. 14). 15. Fix the fabric cover to the seat, fastening the press studs as shown in diagram 15A-15B. 16. Fix the fabric panels of the armrests by fastening the 2 press studs, as shown in diagram 16. 17. Fit the fabric cover to the leg rest (diag. 17).
WARNING: When opening the stroller, ensure that your child, or other children, are at a safe distance. Ensure that during these operations the movable parts of the stroller do not come into contact with your child.
1. Pull the trigger opening mechanisms, located on the handles of the stroller, at the same time; the stroller will start to open (diag. 1). 2. Lift the stroller towards you to make the opening operation easier (diag. 2). 3. Press the rear locking mechanism in a downward direction with the tip of your foot to open the stroller fully, and lock it in the open position (diag. 3). WARNING: Ensure that the stroller is locked in the open position, by checking that the rear locking mechanism is effectively secured.
HOW TO USE THE SAFETY HARNESS This stroller has a 5-point safety harness that features two shoulder straps, a waist strap and a crotch strap with buckle.
WARNING: When using the safety harness with children from birth up to approximately 6 months of age, it is necessary to first fit the shoulder straps through the two adjustment holes on the fabric backrest. 18. Insert the shoulder straps through the appropriate holes in the fabric backrest (diag. 18 A) and check that the shoulder straps are adjusted at the correct height for your child. If they are not at the correct height, adjust them as required (diag. 18 B). 19. After sitting the child in the stroller, insert the 2 prongs into the buckle and, if necessary, adjust the width of the waist belt operating the buckles (diag. 19). 20. To ensure maximum safety, the stroller has “D” rings to allow you to fasten an additional safety harness approved to BS 6684 regulation. The rings are located inside the stroller’s seat, on the right and left side, as shown in diagram 20. 21. To unfasten the waist strap, press and pull the side prongs at the same time (diag. 21). WARNING: To ensure your child’s safety, it is necessary to always use the safety harness. WARNING: the use of the crotch strap and safety harness is necessary to guarantee the safety of your child.

To fit the backrest, first fix the rear joint (F), turning it until the two locking pins located on the frame coincide with the holes located on the joint (diag. 4). 5. After inserting the locking pins into the holes, push the joint, until a click is heard, indicating that the locking pins are correctly locked into position (G), as shown in diagram 5. Repeat operations 4 and 5 on the other side of the backrest. 6. Fix the front joint (C), pushing it into its appropriate housing (D), exercising a slight pressure on the tube of the backrest, as shown in diagram 6, until a click is heard, indicating that it is correctly locked into position. Repeat the operation on the other side of the backrest. 7. WARNING: Ensure that, after carrying out the assembly operations, the adjustment levers of the backrest (B) are located under the adjustment racks (diag. 7 A). If they are not positioned as shown in diagram 7 B), release the front joints of the backrest (point 8 of the instructions) and reassemble them (following the instructions indicated in point 6), making sure to position correctly the levers under the racks. Fit the fabric cover on the seat, following, in the reverse order, the strollers’ instructions indicated in the paragraph “HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER”. WARNING: Before using the product in the stroller version, always check that the backrest is fitted into the correct position.
22. To adjust the inclination of the backrest, press the button located on the backrest. Release the button to lock the backrest in the nearest position. To raise the backrest, simply push it in an upward direction (diag. 22).
WARNING: The child’s weight can make these operations more difficult. HOW TO ADJUST THE LEG REST
23. Press the two tabs to adjust the leg rest to the desired position
(diag. 23). REMOVABLE BUMPER BAR
24. To remove the bumper bar, press the two buttons located under the armrests (diag. 24) and pull the bumper bar towards you.
Open only one side of the bumper bar to place the child into the stroller more easily. WARNING: Always fasten the child with the safety harness. The bumper bar is NOT a child restraint device. WARNING: Never use the bumper bar to lift the stroller with the child sitting in it.
HOW TO REMOV E THE BACKREST Remove the seat’s fabric cover, following the instructions of the stroller, indicated in the paragraph “HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER”.
8. First release the front joint, by pressing the release button located on the side (E) and pulling the tube of the backrest in an upward direction (diag. 8). Repeat the operation on the other side of the backrest. 9. Now release the rear joint, pressing the locking pin (G) and, at the same time, pulling the joint inside (diag. 9). Repeat the operation on the other side of the backrest.
ADJUSTABLE DOUBLE TWIST ERGONOMIC HANDLE HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER The fabric cover of the stroller can be removed.
25. Press the button, located on the handle, to turn the handle to the desired position and adjust its height to the position that is most comfortable for the user.
The handle can be adjusted to 8 different positions (diag. 25). REAR BRAKES The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied simultaneously to the two double rear wheels by using only
26. To apply the brakes, push one of the two levers located at the centre of the rear wheels in a downward direction, as shown in diagram 26. 27. To unlock the braking system, push one of the two levers located at the centre of the rear wheels in an upward direction, as shown in diagram 27. WARNING: Always apply the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary. WARNING: Never leave the stroller on a sloped surface, with a child onboard, even with the brakes applied. WARNING: After operating the brake lever, ensure that the brakes have been correctly applied to both of the rear wheel units.
34. To open the hood, push the front arch in a forward direction and lock it, operating the two side calliper shaped mechanisms, as shown in diagram 34.
35. To remove the rear fabric panel and use the hood as a summer canopy, open the central zip (diag. 35). 36. To remove the canopy, simply slide the fastening devices in an upward direction (diag. 36). WARNING: The canopy must be fixed on both sides of the stroller. Check that the canopy is fitted correctly into position.
RAIN COVER The stroller may come with a rain cover.
37. Fit the rain cover, as shown in diagram 37. After use, if the rain cover is wet, let it dry in the air before folding the rain cover to store it. WARNING: Be extremely careful when using the rain cover. WARNING: Do not use the rain cover if the stroller is not fitted with hood or sun-canopy to prevent the risk of suffocation. When the rain cover is fitted to the stroller, never leave the stroller with the child onboard to prevent the risk of the child overheating.
SWIVEL WHEELS The stroller has front swivel or fixed wheels.
28. To unlock the swivel wheels, lower the lever located between the two wheels. Use the swivel wheels on smooth surfaces. To lock the wheels, push the lever in an upward direction (diag. 28). WARNING: the swivel wheels make the stroller easier to manoeuvre; on uneven surfaces it is recommended to use locked front wheels to guarantee the safe use of the stroller (on gravel, unpaved roads, etc.). WARNING: All the wheels must always be locked or unlocked at the same time.
LEG COVER The stroller may be supplied with a leg cover, which is ideal in cold weather.
38. To fit the leg cover, attach the “U” hooks to the frame, as shown in diagram 38 A. Slide the upper part of the leg cover under the bumper bar, and fix it into the highest position, inserting the buttons into the holes located on the armrests (diagram 38 B). When the weather is milder, the leg cover can be turned over the bumper bar and fixed to the holes, as shown in diagram 38 C.
WARNING: When closing the stroller, ensure that your child, or other children, are kept at a safe distance. Ensure that during these operations the moveable parts of the stroller do not come into contact with your child.
29. Raise the calliper shaped mechanisms on the sides of the hood and fold the hood (diag. 29). 30. Pull both of the trigger open mechanisms, located on the handles (diag. 30 A), in an upward direction; while keeping them pulled, unlock the rear locking mechanism, pushing it in an upward direction with the tip of the foot (diag. 30 B). 31. Hold the close handle and pull in an upward direction, until the stroller is completely closed and locked (diag. 31). When the stroller is closed and locked, it stands upright on its own.
The stroller comes with a practical item basket.
39 – The ends of the basket are fitted with 4 clip button fasteners. To mount the basket on the stroller, thread the tape fasteners around the back legs of the stroller, above the seat tube (diagram 39A). Then thread the other tape fasteners around the front legs and press the buttons (see diagram 39 B). WARNING: Do not overload the basket with weights of over 5 kg. You must remove all contents from the basket before you close it.
HOW TO USE THE CHILD CAR SEAT AND CARRYCOT
BAG The CHICCO strollers featuring the CLIK CLAK system on the armrests allow you to fit the carrycot and/or child car seat to the frame of the stroller without using any additional devices.
To fit or remove the carrycot or child car seat, please refer to the specific instructions supplied. WARNING: Only the CHICCO child car seats and carrycots featuring the CLIK CLAK devices can be fitted to the stroller. Before using the stroller with the carrycot or child car seat fitted to it, always check that the locking system is locked into the correct position. ONLY USE ACCESSORIES FITTED WITH THE SPECIFIC CLIK CLAK SYSTEM. 32. WARNING: The incorrect locking of these accessories to the stroller frame may jam the locking system and prevent their removal. In this case, unlock the locking devices manually with a screwdriver, by turning the levers located under the armrests (diagram 32). Please read carefully the instruction booklets on how to use the carrycot and child car seat. WARNING: The pictures and instructions contained in the booklet refer to one stroller model. Some of the components and functions described here may not be available for the model purchased.
40 – Some versions have a practical holder bag which can be used with the strap, or carried on your shoulder (diagram 40) by simply unclipping the strap.
41 – Fasten the bag to the stroller using the strap as seen in diagram 41 A. To attach it without the strap, fasten the two hooks on the bag to the hooks on the stroller, as seen in diagram 41 B. WARNING: Do not overload the bag with weights of over 2 kg. WARNING: Exceeding this limit may compromise the stability of the stroller and cause it to topple over.
WARNING: The accessories described below may not be available for some versions of this product. Please read carefully the instructions on the accessories available for the model purchased.

SUMMER/WINTER HOOD The stroller has two slots, located on the sides, which allow you to fit the hood.
