Frequently Asked Questions - MMC800W GORENJE

How do I clean the hand blender?
Unplug the appliance. Detach the blending shaft and rinse under running water. The shaft and beaker are dishwasher safe. Wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
Can I blend hot liquids?
Yes, but allow them to cool slightly (max 80°C) and use a tall container to avoid splashing. Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 1 minute with hot liquids.
What does the Turbo function do?
The Turbo function runs the blender at maximum speed for short bursts to process tough ingredients like ice or frozen fruit. Press and hold the Turbo button to activate.
How do I prevent splashing?
Always submerge the blending shaft fully into the liquid before starting. Use a deep container and start at low speed, then increase as needed. Keep the blender head below the surface while operating.
Is the whisk attachment included?
The MMC800W model typically includes a whisk attachment for whipping cream or egg whites. Check the package contents. If not, it can be purchased separately as an accessory.
What should I do if the motor stops during use?
This is likely overheat protection activating. Unplug the blender and let it cool for about 15 minutes before resuming. Ensure the vents are not blocked.
Can I crush ice with this blender?
Yes, for small amounts of ice. Use the Turbo function in short pulses. Avoid continuous blending as it may overwork the motor.
How do I attach the blending shaft?
Align the shaft with the motor unit and turn clockwise until it locks into place. To remove, turn counterclockwise while pressing the release button if present.
What is the max operating time?
Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 1 minute between uses.
