How do I attach the beaters or dough hooks?

Ensure the mixer is switched off and unplugged. Insert the stem of the beater into the mounting hole, push and turn until it locks. Repeat for the second beater. For dough hooks, insert the one with ears into the right opening and the one with finger ring into the left opening.

What is the maximum speed setting?

The highest speed is achieved by using the Pulse (Turbo) function. For continuous high speed, you can also turn the speed dial to the 'M' (Pulse) position.

Can I use the blender attachment for hot liquids?

The blender attachment is intended for blending cold or warm ingredients. Avoid blending very hot liquids to prevent splashing and damage.

How should I clean the mixer?

Unplug the mixer. Wash beaters, dough hooks, and blender attachment in warm soapy water or dishwasher (top rack). Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.

What does the 'FOLD' speed setting do?

The FOLD speed (setting 1) is ideal for starting bulk and dry foods such as flour, butter, or potatoes. It gently mixes without overworking.

Is it safe to leave the mixer plugged in when not in use?

No. Always unplug the mixer from the power supply when not in use, before fitting or removing parts, and before cleaning.

Can I use the mixer to knead heavy dough?

Yes, use the dough hooks for mixing and kneading dough. Do not overload the mixer; follow recommended quantities in the manual.

What should I do if the mixer stops working suddenly?

Check if it is unplugged or if the fuse has blown. If it still does not work, contact Gorenje Customer Care. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

How do I remove the beaters?

Switch off and unplug the mixer. Press the ejector button (B) to release the beaters or dough hooks. Pull them out of the motor unit.

Can children use this mixer?

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above if supervised. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children unless they are over 8 and supervised.

Your hand mixer has been designed for mixing, beating, whipping and kneading. This product is intended for household use only.

Important safeguards

Using your appliance

• Do not touch moving parts.
  • Make sure that the appliance is switched off before connecting to or disconnecting from the power supply.
  • Always take care when using the appliance.
• Never pull the power supply cord to disconnect the plug from the socket. Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Always protect the motor unit from water or excessive humidity.

• Never detach the beaters, dough hooks and blending attachment from the main body while the appliance is still connected to the power supply. Always disconnect the unit from power supply first.

• Never clean the beaters, dough hooks or blending attachment under running water while they are still connected to the main body.

• Take care that the beaters, dough hooks and blending attachment do not touch the power cable while operating the unit.
• If the power supply cord is damaged during use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use, before fitting or removing parts and before cleaning.

ASSEMBLY

Before assembly, make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged.

Choosing beaters, dough hooks or blending attachment

• Use beaters for mixing, beating, whipping and creaming liquids and mixtures.
• Use dough hooks for mixing and kneading dough.
• Use blending attachment for blending.

Fitting the beaters or dough kneaders

• Switch the appliance off.
• Insert the stem of beater into one of the mounting holes in the motor unit.
• Push and turn the beater until in locks into place.
• Repeat for the other beater.

Removing the beaters or dough hooks

• Switch the appliance off.
• Keep the release button depressed.
• Pull the beaters or dough hooks out of the motor unit.

USE

- To assemble, insert the end of beaters or dough hooks into the openings. (Fig1)

• Press it until they lock securely in place. (Note: It is important that you insert the dough hooks with a pair of ears into the right opening and insert the dough hook with finger ring into the left opening. (Fig 2)
• Put the ingredients into a bowl. (Fig. 3)
• Lower the beaters or dough hooks into the ingredients. (Fig. 3)
• Plug in and switch the mixer on and choose the desired speed (Fig. 4).
• If you need highest speed, please press turbo or turn the pulse position. (Fig. 5)
• After use unplug the unit first. Depress ejector knob (B) to release the beaters or dough hooks (Fig. 6).

2 BLEND	Best speed to start liquid ingredients for mixing salad dressings.
3 MIX	For mixing cakes, cookies and quick breads.
4 CREAM	For creaming butter and sugar, beating uncooked candy, desserts, etc.
5 WHIP	For beating eggs, cooked icings, whipping potatoes, whipping cream, etc.
M PULSE	Max turbo.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

!!!Before cleaning and maintenance, switch the appliance off and unplug it.

• Wash the beaters, dough hooks or blending attachment in warm soapy water and dry well.
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.

Environment

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in

at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.
