How do I clean the hand blender?

Yes, the stainless steel shaft withstands hot ingredients up to 80°C. However, avoid boiling liquids to prevent splashing. Always start at low speed and increase gradually.

What is the turbo boost function?

The turbo boost provides maximum power for blending tough ingredients like frozen fruit or fibrous vegetables. Press and hold the turbo button while the blender is running for instant extra speed.

How do I attach the whisk?

Remove the blending shaft and align the whisk attachment onto the motor unit until it clicks into place. The whisk is ideal for cream, egg whites, and light batters.

What containers can I use?

Use a tall, narrow beaker (included) or any deep saucepan. Always ensure the blender shaft is fully submerged to avoid splattering. Avoid using in non-stick pans to prevent scratching.

How do I prevent the motor from overheating?

Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 1 minute at high speed. Allow it to cool for 2 minutes between batches. The motor has built-in thermal protection that will shut off if overheated.

Is the hand blender dishwasher safe?

Only the detachable blending shaft and attachments are dishwasher safe. The motor unit must not be immersed in water or placed in the dishwasher; clean with a damp cloth only.

What is the warranty period?

Gorenje offers a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Register your product online to extend coverage. The warranty does not cover normal wear or misuse.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Important safeguards

- The intended use is described in this manual. The use any accessory or attachment or the performance of any operation with this appliance other than those recommended in this instruction manual may present a risk of personal injury.

Using your appliance

• Do not touch moving parts.
  • Make sure that the appliance is switched off before connecting to or disconnecting from the power supply
  • Always take care when using the appliance.
• Never pull the power supply cord to disconnect the plug from the socket. Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Always protect the motor unit from water or excessive humidity.
• Operate the appliance only with dry hands.

• Never detach the heaters, dough books

• Never clean the beaters, dough hooks or blending attachment under running water while they are still connected to the main body.
  • Take care that the beaters, dough hooks and blending attachment do not touch the power cable while operating the unit.

• If the power supply cord is damaged during use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use, before fitting or removing parts and before cleaning.
• All repairs of electrical appliances must only be performed by skilled personnel. Improper repairs can result in Considerable hazards for the user.
• In case of damages, the power cord must be changed only by the skilled service - personnel.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

After use

ASSEMBLY

Before assembly, make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged.

Choosing beaters, dough hooks or

blending attachmen

• Use beaters for mixing, beating, whipping and creaming liquids and mixtures
• Use dough hooks for mixing and kneading dough.
• Use blending attachment for blending.

Fitting the beaters or dough kneaders

• Switch the appliance off.
• Insert the stem of beater into one of the mount
• Push and turn the beater until in locks into place.
• Repeat for the other beater.

Removing the beaters or dough hooks

- Switch the appliance off.

• Press it until they lock securely in place. (Note: It is important that you insert the dough hooks with a pair of ears into the right opening and insert the dough hook with finger ring into the left opening. (Fig 2)
• Put the ingredients into a bowl. (Fig. 3)
• Lower the beaters or dough hooks into the ingredients. (Fig. 3)
• Plug in and switch the mixer on and choose the desired speed (Fig. 4).
• If you need highest speed, please press turbo or turn the pulse position. (Fig. 5)
• After use unplug the unit first. Depress ejector knob (B) to release the beaters or dough hooks (Fig. 6).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
