Why is my camera not recording any photos or videos?

Check that the SD card is inserted and has free space. Ensure the switch is set to ON. Verify batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. Also ensure the camera is not in OFF or TEST mode.

How do I set the date and time on the camera?

Navigate to the menu (press MENU button), select 'Time & Date', then adjust the date, time, and format (24h or 12h). Confirm with OK.

What type of batteries should I use?

Use 4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. For longer life, use lithium rechargeable 1.5V AA batteries. Never mix old and new batteries or different brands.

How can I format the SD card?

Insert the card, switch camera to TEST, go to MENU, select 'Format SD Card', and confirm YES. Alternatively, format on a computer to FAT32.

Can I use a 512GB SD card?

No, the camera supports cards up to 256GB. Larger cards will not be recognized.

Why is the night vision not working well?

Ensure batteries are fully charged. Place the camera in a dark environment; avoid open areas where IR light cannot reflect. Also clean the IR LED lenses.

How do I turn on the camera after setting it up?

Slide the switch from OFF to TEST to configure, then to ON to activate. The green LED will flash once. The camera will start a 15-second countdown before arming.

What is the trigger speed and delay?

Trigger speed is 0.8 seconds. Default delay between activations is 5 seconds; can be set from 5 seconds to 60 minutes in the menu.

How do I protect the camera with a password?

In the menu, set 'Password Protection' to ON, then enter a 4-digit password. You will need this password to access settings or view files.

What should I do if the camera does not detect motion?

Check that the PIR sensor is not blocked or damaged. Avoid pointing at heat sources or water. Adjust sensitivity in the menu. Also ensure the camera is positioned at an appropriate height.

The camera can be used to take pictures of game, thieves or as a time-lapse, its small size makes it easy to mount and hard to detect.

1.2 Quick Start

1. Turn on

Slide the switch from the OFF position to the TEST position to put the device into setup mode, where the camera image preview will be displayed on the screen.

2. Settings

Press the MENU button to set up the device. After pressing the button, you will see the individual setting items described in chapter 2.1

Camera buttons:

1.	MENU	Button to enter the main menu. Directly in the MENU, the device is also used to return to the previous section.
2.	The Record On	the basic screen, it takes a photo or video when pressed, depending on the basic screen mode.
3.	PLAY	Used to enter and exit the photo and video gallery on the SD card
4.	UP	To move around the menu or gallery. On the basic preview screen, it is used to turn on the Video mode
5.	DOLU	To move around the menu or gallery. On the basic preview screen, it is used to turn on Photo mode.
6.	OK	Confirm menu selection

3. Start-up/Activation

Once you have completed the setup, you can put the camera into an active state where it will take Photos/Videos based on the motion detection, according to the settings you have specified. Activate the camera by moving the switch from "TEST" to "ON", the green LED on the front panel flashes once and the device is active. If motion is detected by a "PIR" sensor, the camera will record. An SD card must be installed in the

camera, otherwise the camera will not work see chapter 1.4

1.3 Main Functions

▶ Low power consumption (up to 3-4 months on 4X AA batteries.)*

▶ Date, Time, Temperature and moon phase directly on the photo or video.

1.4 Power supply

StrongVision A requires 4X AA 1.5V alkaline batteries for operation.

▶ The batteries must be inserted exactly as indicated in the battery compartment, if you turn the battery over, the device will not work and you may damage it.
▶ Always use the same type and manufacturer of batteries, and always keep the batteries at the same charge. If you use different types of batteries, the device may be damaged. Such damage is not covered by the statutory warranty.
▶ If you know that you will not be using the device for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the device.

Leaving them in the device may cause damage to the device that is not covered by the warranty.

▶ Due to the large number of modes and settings, the battery life of an active device cannot be specified exactly. Night mode or video recording have high power consumption requirements and significantly reduce battery life. We can only recommend the use of 1 .5V Alkaline or 1.5V Lithium rechargeable batteries for longer battery life.

1.5 Memory card

The camera supports memory cards up to 256GB.

Before inserting or removing a memory card, the device must be switched off by moving the switch to the "OFF" position

If you handle the card while it is switched on, the data on the card may be corrupted.

▶ The camera does not have any built-in memory, you must insert a memory card into the device to use it. For proper operation, it is a good idea to format the memory card directly in the camera (MENU-Format SD Card) or on your computer to FAT32 format.
▶ A maximum of 256GB memory card can be used, 512GB cards and larger will not be recognised by the device.
▶ For the card to function properly, avoid contact with moisture. Ensure that the device is not exposed to vibration or that the cards are exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
▶ The camera supports cyclic overwriting, in which case the

camera will start overwriting the oldest files when the SD card memory is full.

▶ Insert the SD card carefully into the slot, pushing it gently until the card slot mechanism clicks.
▶ To remove the SD card, press the edge of the card until it slides out of the camera body. After that, you can safely remove it - the camera must always be in the OFF position.

3. Troubleshooting

3.1 The camera does not record photos/videos when moving

1. Check the PIR sensor to see if it is damaged or blocked, for example by a leaf.

2. Test the camera in places where there are no hot spots. The PIR sensor detects motion based on temperature difference, if

the camera environment is overheated, the sensor is not activated.

1. In some cases, the water level may cause the PIR sensor to activate unintentionally, in which case turn the camera away from the water level.
2. Set the camera so that it is not pointing directly at the ground.
3. Position the camera so that it does not move and large moving objects, such as a large tree, are not in the frame.
4. At night, the device can detect movement outside the range of the IR night light, so no moving object will be detected in the photos.
5. Sunset or sunrise may cause the recording to start

unintentionally - change the camera position.

1. If the animal/person in front of the camera is moving quickly, the camera may not record them - move the camera further away from the objects (e.g. further away from the path where the animals are moving)

3.2 The camera does not produce any images

1. Make sure there is enough free space on the inserted SD card. If the old file overwrite function is disabled, the device no longer records after the SD card is full.
2. Check that the Alkaline AA batteries used have enough power to operate the photo trap.
3. Make sure the switch is in the ON position and not OFF.
4. Before using the card for the first time, format the card on

your computer to FAT32 format

3.3 Night light does not have sufficient range

1. Use AA alkaline batteries with sufficient capacity - the range will be lower with depleted batteries.
2. For good quality night shots, place the camera in a dark environment with no other light sources.
3. Try to use the camera in locations where it will be surrounded by other objects that can reflect IR light. If you place the camera in an open area, the resulting photo will not be sufficiently illuminated. It's the same as shining a flashlight on the night sky, you won't see anything either, even if the flashlight is very powerful.

1.8 I can't get the camera to turn on

1. Check that the batteries are charged and all of the same type and manufacturer

2. Check the placement of the batteries in the dock to match the polarity of the batteries, according to the pictograms in the battery compartment.

1.9 The camera does not record photos or videos

1. Make sure the SD card is 256GB or less and is Class 10
2. Test whether the SD card is functional in another device
3. Format the SD card on your computer to the FAT32 file system.

3.6 The camera does not record at night but only during the day

Check the battery level, if the battery capacity is less than 30%, the camera is not able to trigger the night light. To restore the function, replace the batteries with new fully charged ones.

4. Notice

4.1 The moment you switch the camera from TEST mode to ON, the countdown starts from 15s to 1s, this is a normal state, during this time, you can safely close the camera and place it in the right place.
4.2 Never submerge the camera under water or place it under running water.
4.3 Do not expose the device to high temperatures or place it near an open flame.

*Battery life decreases depending on the mode used, number of videos and photos taken, 3-4 months of battery life is calculated using only photo recording in day mode and 10 photos per day.

- illegible serial number
- battery capacity drops after 6 months of use (6 month battery life guarantee)
