The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. These factors must therefore be ensured by the user/users using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:
- Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.
WARNING: Always make sure that the voltage selector is set to the parameters of the current network.
- Do not operate iron with a damaged cord. All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out at a professional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers from the appliance; there is a risk of electric shock!
- Protect the appliance from direct contact with water or other liquids to prevent possible electric shock.
- Take extra care when using a steam iron near children! Keep the iron and its power supply away from children under 8 when it is connected to power or cools.
- Do not leave the iron running unattended.
- Do not operate the steam iron outdoors or in a moist environment and do not touch the cord or appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
-
The iron shall not be used if it has fallen and has visible signs of damage or is not tight.
-
Use the iron only on stable flat surfaces. When placing the iron on the stand, make sure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
-
First, always disconnect the iron from the power outlet before filling the iron with water and before emptying it.
-
We recommend not leaving the iron with the plug in the outlet unattended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance. Do not remove the power cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the cable from the outlet by grasping the plug.
-
Do not use the iron near or beneath flammable objects, such as close to the curtains. Contact with hot metal parts, hot water or steam may cause burns. When turning the iron upside down, be careful - hot water may be present in the container.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: BEFORE EACH USE MAKE SURE THAT THE VOLTAGE SELECTOR IS SET TO THE VALUES OF THE POWER NETWORK, WHICH YOU WANT TO USE.
Network setup
Use a screwdriver to set the iron to the power network parameters you are currently using, see Figure 1.
WARNING: If an adapter is used on a network in another country, make sure that the adapter complies with the applicable standards.

Before putting into operation
First, remove the protective film from the ironing pad! The iron must be used and placed on a stable surface. When ironing for the first time, heat the iron to the highest degree without using water. The iron may emit slight smoke and smell, but it disappears soon. The water reservoir can be filled afterwards. Allow the iron to make steam and warm up for at least 1 minute after filling it and powering it and from time to time press the steam button to remove any residuals from the production process. We recommend trying the iron on some common fabric, e.g. a dish towel, prior to using it on your laundry for the first time.
Folding/unfolding the iron
This iron has a folding handle for easier storage.
Before each folding or opening of the handle into working position, first push the PUSH button (No. 9). Do not use brute force.
Filling the water tank
Be sure the iron is unplugged from the electrical outlet before filling with water!
WARNING: Be careful when opening the cover of the neck filler not to pull out the rubber cover of the steam button by mistake.
Hold the iron in a tilted position, turn off the steam and pour water into the open lid of the filling hole up to the max. mark. We recommend that you use distilled water for the iron.
WARNING: Do not fill the iron with water directly, use only the funnel supplied with the iron!
Temperature settings
Before ironing, sort the garments according to the international textile care and labelling codes found on tags. If these are missing, separate the garments based on the type of fabric.
| Laundry tag Type of | fabric Temperature control | |||
![]() | Chemical fibres e.g. polyester, viscose | • low temperature
![]() | Silk, wool | •• medium temperature
![]() | Cotton, flax | ••• high temperature
![]() | Fabrics which can not be ironed
We recommend that you iron the fabrics with unusual finish (eg sequins, embroidery, prints, etc.) at the lowest temperature.
For blends (eg. 40% cotton, 60% synthetics), set the temperature controller according to the fabric that requires a lower temperature.
If you are not sure of the fabric composition, determine the suitable temperature by performing a test on the least noticeable part of clothing. Start at the lowest temperature and increase it slowly until you reach the ideal temperature.
Never iron spots with traces of perspiration etc.: heat from the iron fixates fabric stains which cannot be removed.
Removal of wax is more effective if you use a medium-temperature dry iron: excess heat burns it and there is a risk of yellow spots.
In order not to make "shiny" stains on silk, wool, or synthetics, iron them in reverse, from the inside.
In order not to make "shiny" stains on velvet, iron it in one direction (with the fiber) and do not press on the iron.
The more laundry is put into the washing machine, the more wrinkled the laundry will be. Laundry becomes more wrinkled even in very high speed spin.
Many fabrics are easier to iron if not completely dry. For example, silk should always be ironed moist.
Use the temperature control to set the ironing temperature according to the type of fabric. A lit indicator signals the heat-up process of the soleplate. When the light indicator turns off it indicates that the desired temperature has been reached and you can start ironing.
The plate temperature indicator occasionally lights up when ironing, indicating the temperature setting is maintained. After finishing your ironing at a high temperature and reducing the temperature, do not continue using the iron until the soleplate temperature indicator lights up again.
Note: Since cooling takes longer than heating, we recommend first ironing fabrics that require a lower temperature. This will reduce downtimes and eliminate the risk of burning the fabric.
IRONING AND STEAMING FUNCTION
Ironing without steam
When ironing without steam set the steam controller to the off steam position and set the temperature controller according to the type of fabric.
Ironing with steam
Set the temperature controller to the ... or MAX position and the steam controller to the steam outlet off position. As soon as the heating indicator switches off, set the steam control to the desired value. Steam will start coming from the openings in the soleplate, you can start ironing.
WARNING: Never direct the steam at persons or animals.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
After use, disconnect the iron from the power supply, open the neck cover, drain the remaining water, set the steam controller to a minimum, and set the temperature controller to a minimum. Before storing the steam iron, always make sure that it has cooled completely and that it is clean and dry. The iron handle can be folded down for easier storage.
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical output prior to performing any maintenance. Cleaning shall always be performed on a cooled appliance!
Any deposits, like residues of starch or fabric softener can be removed with a damp (not wet) cloth or a mild liquid detergent and dried with a soft, dry cloth. Using wire wool or metal objects can scratch the soleplate.
Never clean the iron under running water, do not rinse or immerse the iron into water!
