Remove all the objects from the pockets: lighters, matches, etc.

The appliance should not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a hinged door on the opposite side of the dryer door in such a way as to prevent the dryer door from being fully opened.
- WARNING: Keep ventilation openings in the appliance housing or built-in structure clear of obstruction.
- Install the dryer on a flat and stable surface.
- Do not install the dryer in damp rooms, such as bathrooms, or outdoors.
- Run the dryer in an environment free from dust with good air ventilation.
- Once the dryer is installed, the connections must remain intact. When installing the tumble dryer, ensure the rear surface is not pressed against any objects (tap, socket, etc.).
- The operating temperature of the dryer ranges from 5 °C to 35 °C. When operating at temperatures outside this range, the operation may be adversely affected, and the appliance may be damaged. If the room temperature is below 0 °C, the dryer may be damaged by freezing.
- Be careful when transporting the dryer. Always wear safety gloves.
- Do not place the dryer on the power cable.
- Do not place hot and heavy objects on top of the dryer.
- Do not misuse it, do not stand, sit or place any heavy object on the door of the dryer.
- Do not attempt to open the door while the dryer is in operation as there is a risk of burns. Do not leave the door open, as it could cause accidents.
- The tumble dryer door must only be opened after the drying programme has been completed. Do not force the controls.

The dryer must only be used for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
-
Do not use the tumble dryer if any parts are missing or broken or if any protections or panel have been removed.
- Do not touch the plug with your hands wet. Always pull the plug to disconnect the appliance, otherwise you may suffer an electric shock.
- Do not use the dryer with wet hands or wet bare feet.
- Unplug the dryer if it will not be used for a considerable period of time and during installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair work. Failure to do so may damage the dryer.
- The socket must always be accessible after the installation.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage.
- A damaged cord/plug may cause a fire or electric shock. When damaged, it must be replaced. This should only be carried out by qualified personnel, Cecotec or the after-sales service, in order to avoid danger.
- To prevent any risk of fire or electric shock, do not use extension leads, multi-socket adapters or adapters to connect the dryer to the mains.
- When the dryer is in operation, do not unplug the power cable. When not in use, it is advisable to disconnect the plug, do not pull the power cable. Do not touch the power cable or plug with wet hands.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance of this appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
- Do not let unattended children come near the machine.
Children could get trapped inside the appliance, which could lead to death.
- Keep children away from the machine while in use. The surface becomes extremely hot and could cause damage in the skin.
- Keep the cleaning material out of the reach of children. If detergent or cleaning materials are swallowed or come into contact with your skin or eyes, poisoning and irritation may occur.
- To prevent children from interrupting the drying cycle, you can activate the KidLock function to avoid any changes to the programme in progress.
- Do not allow children to seat or climb on or inside the product.
Product safety
- Due to the risk of fire, the following items should NEVER be put into the dryer:
- Do not introduce unwashed clothes in the dryer.
o Garments that have been stained with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, paraffin, stain removers, turpentine, waxes or wax removers should be washed with hot water and an extra amount of detergent before tumble drying. - Cleaning cloths and mats containing residues of flammable cleaning agents, acetone, gases, petrol, gasoline, stain removers, turpentine, waxes, wax removers, dry cleaning solvents or chemicals.
o Garments with traces of hairspray, nail polish remover and similar substances.
o Garments that have been used for cleaning with industrial chemicals (as in chemical cleaning).
o Garments containing parts or accessories with any type
of foam, sponge, rubber or rubber-like material, such as latex foam sponges, shower caps, waterproof fabrics, custom-made clothing and foam pillows.
o Garments with padding or damaged parts (pillows or jackets). Foam released from these garments could cause a fire during the drying process.
- Using the dryer in environments containing flour or coal dust may cause an explosion.
- Wet clothes can only be dried in the tumble dryer after being spin-dried, i.e., they must not be dripping water that could drip onto electrical components and damage the tumble dryer, causing a potential hazard.
- It is not advisable to introduce wool fabrics or garments or leather materials. Plush and leather can be damaged, and wool can shrink and deform.
- Do not dry garments labelled: do not tumble dry, hang to dry, wring out, dry at room temperature.
- Try to distribute the clothes evenly inside the drum to facilitate drying and avoid noises.
- It is advisable to use similar fabrics in each drying cycle.
- When the tumble dryer is in operation, do not use flammable sprays nearby. If a gas leak occurs, do not connect or disconnect the plug or switch on the appliance.
- Do not store cigarettes, lighters, dry ice or other flammable and/or explosive materials inside the tumble dryer.
- ATTENTION: Underwear with metal reinforcements should not be put in the dryer. Damage to the dryer may occur if the metal reinforcements become detached or lost during drying.
Correct use
- ATTENTION: Make sure that no animals enter the dryer. Check the interior of the dryer before use.
- ATTENTION: Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate the heat.
- ATTENTION: Overheating of the laundry inside the dryer may occur if you cancel the programme or in case of an electrical failure during the operation of the dryer. This heat concentration may cause combustion, so ensure laundry is promptly removed from the dryer to spread out and dissipate heat.
- Operate the appliance only for domestic use and for drying fabrics labelled as suitable for tumble drying. Any use other than that for which it is intended is prohibited.
- In case of commercial use, the warranty will be void.
- Do not lean or sit on the dryer door. The dryer could tip over.
- WARNING: This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare at the light source.
- ATTENTION: Never operate the dryer without the filter or with a damaged filter.
- Lint should not be allowed to accumulate around the dryer.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.
3. INSTALLATION
Be sure to follow the following guidelines for proper installation and operation of your mini dryer:
- Adequate Location: Place the mini dryer in a well-ventilated area and on a level and stable surface to avoid excessive vibration and noise during operation.
- Space required: Refer to Figure 2 to verify dryer dimensions and Figure 3 to ensure minimum recommended clearances around the dryer:
o Minimum lateral space: 10 cm
o Minimum rear clearance: 15 cm
o Minimum space in front: 50 cm
o Minimum overhead clearance: 50 cm
- Electrical connection: Connect the tumble dryer to a suitable power socket. Make sure the power cord is not bent or crushed.
- Safety: Do not place flammable objects near the dryer and make sure that there are no obstructions in the air outlets and inlets.
- Accessibility: Make sure that the dryer door can be opened fully and that the control panel is easily accessible.
4. PRECAUTIONS AND ADVICE FOR USE
Precautions
Cecotec is not responsible for accidents that occur when the instructions in the manual are not followed.
Clothing Precautions
- Do not dry non-heat resistant garments such as wool, silk, leather, polyurethane and printed clothing.
- Do not dry items that affect dryer performance such as electric blankets or sponges.
Precautions for sorting clothing
- Dry clothes in groups according to the material they are made of to avoid damage.
- Organise clothes by colour to prevent colour transfer.
- Place small items in a laundry net to prevent them from getting lost or damaged.
- Garments with zippers or metal should be dried inside a laundry net to avoid damaging other garments or the dryer.
Precautions for clothing placement
- Make sure the laundry is well wrung out before placing it in the dryer to improve drying efficiency.
- Place each garment evenly inside the dryer to ensure uniform drying.
- Check that there are no objects adhered to the clothes, as they could remain on the garment after drying.
- Do not exceed 70% of the rated capacity of the dryer to avoid inefficient performance.
- Only dry garments that have been previously washed.

5. OPERATION

- Drum temperature display: Displays the current temperature inside the drum.
- Remaining time display: Indicates the remaining cycle time (shows working hours in "Smart" mode).

Lint filter cleaning warning indicator light:

Flashing: indicates that the lint filter should be cleaned.
-
Permanently lit: indicates that the lint filter is not installed or is incorrectly installed.
-
KidLock indicator light: After 30 seconds of operation, the child lock is automatically activated. To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the start/pause touch icon and the timer touch icon for 3 seconds.
-
When the UV function is selected, this icon lights up; in Smart and ECO modes, this icon will light up approximately 5 minutes before the laundry is dry; in other modes, the icon will light up approximately 15 minutes before the laundry is dry.

KidLock: start/pause touch icon + timer touch icon, press and hold both touch icons to activate/deactivate the child lock.

Icon to mute sounds: timer touch icon + delay start touch icon, press and hold the touch icons to activate/deactivate the sound by pressing the icons.

Delay Start touch icon, select a time between 0 and 12 hours for the program to start automatically after the selected period.
Modes
- Smart: It automatically adjusts the drying time according to the amount of laundry, by means of temperature and humidity sensors. The dryer stops when the laundry is dry.
- Large: Suitable for large garments.
- Small: Ideal for smaller garments, such as shirts and T-shirts.
- ECO: this mode is most energy efficient for garments weighing less than 1.5 kg (approximately half the capacity).
- Soft: It works at low temperature, suitable for fabrics that do not resist high temperatures.
- Shoes: In this mode, the drum does not rotate. To be used with the special rack for drying shoes.
- UV (Ultraviolet light): The dryer does not turn on the heating function; it uses ultraviolet light to sterilize the clothes.
- Refresh: The heating function is not activated. Removes odors from clothes but is not recommended for drying.
- Garment Care: Helps reduce wrinkles and odours. Works at low temperature with alternating movements. Suitable for shirts, blouses, dresses, etc.
Garment Care Mode
10 minutes after the cycle ends, if the door is still closed, the dryer will enter garment care mode and “--” will appear on the control panel.
In this model, the dryer runs for 5 minutes every 4 hours, with the fan and drum operating (except in shoe-drying mode); it runs continuously for 24 hours. However, if the door is opened during this time, this function is deactivated.

NOTE:
- Be sure to use only garments that are labeled for machine washing and drying to ensure safe and efficient operation of the dryer.
- Drum capacity: Fill only up to two-thirds of the drum volume for optimal drying. Overloading is not recommended.
- Drying time: The times provided are standard test results and may change depending on the material, volume or weight of the garments.
- Initial odor: You may initially notice a typical new product odor in the drum. This is normal and does not represent a defect.
- Laundry removal: Remove the laundry as soon as possible at the end of drying to avoid mildew or wrinkles.
- End of Drying: Make sure that the dryer has stopped completely before removing the clothes, as static electricity may be generated when handling the clothes.
- "Smart" mode: The dryer can run for up to 4 hours in "Smart" mode, it shuts off automatically afterwards to avoid prolonged operation due to external causes.

Drying mode selection
Choose the appropriate mode according to the type, thickness or quantity of laundry to be dried by pressing the icon of the desired mode.
If you choose "Smart" mode, the dryer continuously monitors temperature and humidity to determine if drying is complete, automatically adjusting its operation. The program controls the operating time according to the type and quantity of laundry, with times ranging from 15 to 240 minutes. Items such as towels, socks, underwear and 1 to 2 shirts can be dried quickly.
Starting the drying cycle
Once you have selected the desired mode, press the start/pause touch icon to start drying.
Safety system
If you open the door while the dryer is running, drum rotation and heating will stop. The fan will continue to run for a brief period before stopping completely.
Pausing and stopping the dryer
During operation, you can press the "Start/Pause" touch icon to temporarily stop the dryer and open the door. Note that frequent pausing may reduce drying efficiency.
End of drying
Make sure the dryer has stopped spinning completely before removing the clothes.
Please note that static electricity may be generated when removing clothing.
Before removing the laundry, check that the internal drum has cooled down to avoid burns when handling the garments.
Child Lock
Press and hold the touch icon start/pause/child lock to activate/deactivate this function.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Make sure the dryer is unplugged from the outlet and cooled before cleaning.
Cleaning the lint filter
Precautions:
It is recommended to clean the lint filter after each use to maintain optimum drying performance.
If the lint filter cleaning light flashes, it means that the filter needs to be cleaned.
If the filter is damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.

Remove the filter, open the door and remove the lint filter. Fig. 5.

- Wash with a soft brush and neutral detergent to avoid damage to the filter.
Note: Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it. If the filter is not properly installed, the dryer will not operate, and the icon will remain lit.
Cleaning the air inlet filter at the rear
It is recommended to clean the filter once a month.
If the filter is damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
- Open the air inlet filter cover and remove the filter. Fig. 7
- Wash the filter and make sure it is dry before replacing it.
Cleaning the appliance's interior and exterior
Interior cleaning: use a damp cloth to clean the drum and remove residues after each use.
Exterior cleaning: clean the exterior with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive products that may damage the dryer.
Do not clean the dryer directly with water.
Do not use detergents such as gasoline or alcohol.
Do not use aerosol cleaners inside.
For stains on the drum, use a damp cloth.
Remove residues after each cycle.
Cautions:
Except for the filters, do not disassemble the dryer.
Repairs should only be carried out by authorized professionals of the company.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING AND ERROR CODES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or battery must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the local authorities.
