  • Remove all the objects from the pockets: lighters, matches, etc.
  • The appliance should not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a hinged door on the opposite side of the dryer door in such a way as to prevent the dryer door from being fully opened.

- WARNING: Keep ventilation openings in the appliance housing or built-in structure clear of obstruction.

  • Before installing the dryer, check the information in the instruction manual to make sure that the electrical installation and water connection are available. If they are not, you can call a qualified electrician and plumber to make the necessary adjustments.
  • The preparation of the dryer location is the responsibility of the customer, as well as the electrical and sewage installation. Before installation, check the dryer for any damage. If it is damaged, do not install it. Damaged appliances may be a risk for your health.
  • Install the dryer on a flat and stable surface.
  • Do not install the tumble dryer in rooms with humidity, such as bathrooms, or outdoors.
  • Run the dryer in an environment free from dust with good air ventilation.
  • You should not reduce the space between the dryer and the floor with objects like carpets, wood or cloths.
  • Do not block the ventilation outlet.
  • Once the dryer is installed, the connections must remain intact. When installing the tumble dryer, ensure the rear surface is not pressed against any objects (tap, socket, etc.).
  • The operating temperature of the dryer ranges from 5 °C to

35 °C. When operating at temperatures outside this range, the operation may be adversely affected, and the appliance may be damaged.

  • If the room temperature is below 0 °C , the dryer may be damaged by freezing.
  • Take care when transporting the product. Always wear safety gloves.
  • Install the appliance on a stable surface. If it is not stable enough, adjust the feet until it is firm. Repeat the same process every time you relocate the appliance.
  • Do not place the dryer on the power cable.
  • Do not place hot and heavy objects on top of the dryer.
  • Do not misuse it, do not stand, sit or place any heavy object on the door of the dryer.
  • Do not attempt to open the door while the dryer is in operation as there is a risk of burns. Do not leave the door open, as it could cause accidents.
  • The tumble dryer door must only be opened after the drying programme has been completed. Do not force the controls.
  • The dryer must only be used for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
  • Do not use the tumble dryer if any parts are missing or broken or if any protections or panel have been removed.
  • This section contains safety instructions to help protect you against the risk of personal injury or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions will void the warranty.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure every user is informed about the warnings and precautions stated in this instruction manual.
  • The appliance should not be powered by an external switching device, such as a timer. It should not be

connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by some kind of drive.

  • Always use an approved socket outlet with grounding, 220-240 V\~ power supply and a current greater than 10A.
  • Do not touch the plug with your hands wet. Always pull the plug to disconnect the appliance, otherwise you may suffer an electric shock.
  • Do not use the dryer with wet hands or wet bare feet.
  • Connect the dryer to a grounded, fuse-protected outlet. The installation of an earthed socket must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Cecotec is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the use of the dryer without grounding as required by local regulations.
  • The voltage and frequency values indicated on the label must be the same as those in your house.
  • Unplug the dryer if it will not be used for a considerable period of time and during installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair work. Otherwise, it could damage the dryer.
  • The socket must always be accessible after the installation.
  • Check the power cable regularly for visible damage.
  • A damaged cord/plug may cause a fire or electric shock. When damaged, it must be replaced. This should only be carried out by qualified personnel, Cecotec or the after-sales service, in order to avoid danger.
  • To prevent any risk of fire or electric shock, do not use extension leads, multi-socket adapters or adapters to connect the dryer to the mains.
  • When the dryer is in operation, do not unplug the power cable. When not in use, it is advisable to disconnect the plug, do not pull the power cable. Do not touch the power cable or plug with wet hands.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance of this appliance should not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.

- Do not let unattended children come near the machine. Children could get trapped inside the appliance, which could lead to death.

- Keep children away from the machine while in use. The surface becomes extremely hot and could cause damage in the skin.

- Keep the cleaning material out of the reach of children. If detergent or cleaning materials are swallowed or come into contact with your skin or eyes, poisoning and irritation may occur.

- To prevent children from interrupting the drying cycle, you can activate the KidLock function to avoid any changes to the programme in progress.

- Do not allow children to seat or climb on or inside the product.

Product safety

- Due to the risk of fire, the following items should NEVER be put into the dryer:

o Do not introduce unwashed clothes in the dryer.

o Garments that have been stained with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, paraffin, stain removers, turpentine, waxes or wax removers should

be washed with hot water and an extra amount of detergent before tumble drying.

o Cleaning cloths and mats containing residues of flammable cleaning agents, acetone, gases, petrol, gasoline, stain removers, turpentine, waxes, wax removers, dry cleaning solvents or chemicals.
o Garments with traces of hairspray, nail polish remover and similar substances.
o Garments that have been used for cleaning with industrial chemicals (as in chemical cleaning).
o Garments containing parts or accessories with any type of foam, sponge, rubber or rubber-like material, such as latex foam sponges, shower caps, waterproof fabrics, custom-made clothing and foam pillows.
o Garments with padding or damaged parts (pillows or jackets). Foam released from these garments could cause a fire during the drying process.

- Using the dryer in environments containing flour or coal dust may cause an explosion.

- Wet laundry may be dried in the tumble dryer only after dehydration, i.e. no water should drip onto the electrical parts and damage the tumble dryer causing a potential hazard.

- It is not advisable to load woollen fabrics or garments or leather materials. Fleece and leather can be damaged, and wool can shrink and lose shape.

- Do not dry garments whose care labels show: do not tumble dry, hang to dry, drip dry, dry at room temperature.

- Try to distribute garments evenly within the drum to facilitate drying and avoid noise.

- It is advisable to use garments of similar fabrics in each drying cycle.

  • When the tumble dryer is in operation, do not use flammable sprays nearby. If a gas leak occurs, do not connect or disconnect the plug or switch on the appliance.
  • Do not store cigarettes, lighters, dry ice or other flammable and/or explosive materials inside the tumble dryer.
  • ATTENTION: Underwear with metal reinforcements should not be put in the dryer. Damage to the dryer may occur if the metal reinforcements become detached or lost during drying.

Correct use

  • ATTENTION: Make sure that no animals enter the dryer. Check the interior of the dryer before use.
  • ATTENTION: Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate the heat.
  • ATTENTION: Overheating of the laundry inside the dryer may occur if you cancel the programme or in case of an electrical failure during the operation of the dryer. This heat concentration may cause combustion, so ensure laundry is promptly removed from the dryer to spread out and dissipate heat.
  • Operate the appliance only for domestic use and for drying fabrics labelled as suitable for tumble drying. Any use other than that for which it is intended is prohibited.
  • In case of commercial use, the warranty will be void.
  • This appliance is intended for indoor use only and should be placed on a flat and stable surface.
  • Do not lean or sit on the dryer door. The dryer could tip over.
  • Always remove the laundry immediately at the end of the programme.

  • ATTENTION: Never operate the dryer without the filter or with a damaged filter.

  • Clean filters after each use. Wet filters can cause malfunction during the drying process.
  • You must not allow lint to accumulate around the tumble dryer.
  • WARNING: The space between the dryer and the floor must not be reduced by objects such as carpets, wood or panelling, otherwise it will not be possible to ensure sufficient air intake to the appliance.
  • Do not install the dryer in rooms with a risk of freezing. Freezing temperatures adversely affect the performance of the dryer. Condensed water freezing in the pump and hose can cause damage.
  • ATTENTION: You cannot install a washing machine on the dryer.
  • ATTENTION: The dryer can only be placed on washing machines with the same or higher capacity.
  • To use the dryer on top of a washing machine, you must place a fixing element between the two appliances (NOT INCLUDED). The fixing element must be placed by an authorised service provider.
  • Place the products on a stable floor with this load capacity.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.

- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

- Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.

3. INSTALLATION

The clothes dryer should be placed on a solid, horizontal floor, either on a desk or on a special stand. The dryer should be installed at a distance of 10 to 15 cm from the rear wall. If used in a confined space, a fan or exhaust pipe (not included) can be installed in the air outlet to vent the hot, humid air to the outside. The length of the exhaust pipe must not exceed 2 meters.

  1. Ventilation outlet elbow installation

Adjust the direction of the ventilation outlet elbow according to actual needs. Fig. 2

  1. Installation:

A. Installation on a horizontal surface
- This dryer should not be placed upside down. When placed on the floor or on a piece of furniture, make sure that the surface is firm and not tilted, so that the dryer is in a horizontal position.

B. Installing the dryer bracket

- When the dryer is installed on a bracket (not included), it is necessary to ensure that the bracket is firm and reliable. When installing the bracket on the floor, it must be stable and have a solid connection to the wall to ensure stability. There must be at least 13 cm distance between the bracket and the wall (the bracket is not a standard accessory). Fig. 3

C. Installation on the wall

Notice: Wall installation is not possible with standard product components, as additional accessories are required and must be purchased separately. The necessary accessories are:

It is recommended to purchase these accessories to proceed with the installation on the wall.

- Determine the position on the wall for the dryer and note that it is recommended that the distance between the top of the dryer and the ceiling be greater than 100 mm. If the installation site is above the washing machine, allow enough space to open the washing machine lid. Fig. 4

  • Fix the hook to the wall with an expansion screw (M6).
  • Attach the hook bracket to the dryer body with four 4 x 10 large flat head self-tapping screws (included).
  • Hang the clothes dryer securely on the hook.

4. OPERATION

First select a drying programme from the control panel according to your needs and the type of laundry to be introduced. You can then select different functions.

WARNING: If the function icon is not activated, it means that the function is not compatible with the selected drying program.

  1. Power "ON/OFF": Press the power button to turn the tumble dryer on or off.
  2. Start/Stop: Press the Start/Stop button; the tumble dryer will begin operating after 2 seconds. Press again to pause.

TUMBLE DRYER FUNCTIONS:

  1. KidLock function: Press and hold the Child Lock button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate it.
  2. Anti-wrinkle function*: Press the button to activate the anti-crease function. At the end of a drying cycle, the drum rotates in one direction and in the other for a period of 10 seconds every minute and the display will show "FF". After 2 hours, the function automatically deactivates. If you wish to deactivate this function manually, simply open the door.
    *Not available with all drying programmes.

  1. UV Care Light function

Function 1: Press the button to perform UV sterilisation during a drying cycle. When pressed, the icon flashes (It can be activated together with the 9 drying programmes: Cotton, Delicate, Down, Quick 20', Underwear, Shoe Dry, Refresh, ECO, Delay Start). Function2: Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to run a sterilisation cycle independently (without an associated drying programme). Press the button repeatedly to select the operating time between 30-40-50-60 minutes.

  1. Delay Start function: First select the Temp+ and Temp- temperature icons simultaneously, then select the time 00:30- 01:00. 01:30- 02:00- 02:30- 03:00- 03:30- 04:00. The drying cycle will start after the selected time has elapsed.

  2. Temp +: High temperature. Press this button to select the drying temperature at 60^ C.

  3. Temp -: Low temperature. Press this button to select the drying temperature at 40^ C.

DRYING PROGRAMMES:

  1. Refresh drying programme: Select this programme to freshen up stored clothes or garments that don't need a full drying cycle, removing odours and light creases at low temperature. When this programme is selected, the display will show 30 minutes. If you want to change the time, press and hold the button and you can select 35 or 40 minutes. This programme only works at a temperature of 28^ .

  2. ECO drying programme: Select this programme for greater energy savings. When selected, the default temperature is 60^ C and the default time is 4 hours and 10 minutes.

  3. Underwear drying programme: Select this programme to dry underwear. The default temperature is 60^ C Temp + (High Temperature). The preset time is 2 hours and 30 minutes. You can switch to low temperature (Temp -), the display will show 40^ C and the time will change to 3 hours.

  4. Shoe Dry drying programme: Select this programme for drying and/or heating the inside of shoes, slippers, etc. The default temperature is 60^ C Temp + (High Temperature). The preset time is 30 minutes. You can add 30 minutes per press up to a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

WARNING: You should place one end of the shoe drying attachment in the vent outlet of the dryer and insert the two outlets of the other end of the attachment into the shoe (one on each pair). Fig. 6.

  1. Down drying programme (down jackets or feather garments): Select this programme to dry down-filled garments such as jackets, coats or overcoats. The default temperature is 60^ C Temp + (High Temperature). The preset time is 2 hours and 40 minutes. You can

switch to low temperature (Temp -), the display will show 40^ C and the time will change to 3 hours and 30 minutes.

  1. Quick 20' drying programme*: Select this programme to dry small loads of laundry quickly. When this programme is selected, the display will show 20 minutes. If you wish to change the time, press and hold the button to select 30-40 minutes. This programme only works at 60°C (High Temperature).

*This programme is not suitable for delicate fabrics or garments that may shrink with heat.

  1. Cotton drying programme: Select this programme for specific cotton garments. The default temperature is 60^ C (High Temperature). The default time is 3 hours. You can switch to low temperature (Temp -), the display will show 40^ C and the time will change to 4 hours.

  2. Delicate drying programme*: Select this programme to dry garments that require special care due to their fragility or sensitive fabric (silk, lace, etc.). The default temperature is 40°C - low temperature (Temp -). The preset time is 2 hours.

*Take extra care with heat-sensitive delicate items as they may become misshapen or shrink. Always check garment labels beforehand.

  1. Display: Shows the selected time and temperature.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience problems with the dryer, disconnect the power cord and check the appliance. If one of the following situations occurs, it may not be a failure. Verify before requesting a repair. If you confirm this is a fault, contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: Always unplug the power cord before performing any cleaning or maintenance operations.

Daily maintenance

To ensure optimal operation of the dryer and avoid malfunctions, clean the air inlet and outlet filter and the appliance regularly.

Cleaning the outlet filter

The lint filter is designed to collect lint, dust and other debris that is released from the laundry during the drying process. Thanks to its multiple filtration system, it helps keep the inside of the dryer clean, improves drying efficiency and prevents possible blockages.

Frequency: Must be cleaned after each use. It is important to clean the filter on a regular basis to ensure optimum performance of the dryer and extend its lifespan.

  1. Filter removal: Reach into the inner cylinder of the dryer, locate the four holes near the centre of the lid and remove the filter.
  2. Lint cleaning: Remove the air outlet cover, the filter cotton and the mesh filter. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean, being careful not to damage the filter.
  3. Filter installation: After cleaning, place the filter system in the following order: mesh filter, filter cotton and air outlet cover. Insert the filter into the inner cylinder, aligning the

centre concave part of the air outlet mask with the convex part of the drum to ensure proper installation (Figure 8).

Note:

The service life of this consumable depends on usage conditions and cleaning; must be replaced when in poor condition.

Original consumable ensures maximum quality and best performance.

Air inlet filter (Fig. 9)

  1. Removing the filter: Gently push up the outer middle end of the air inlet filter cover and remove it.
  2. Cleaning: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust. It is recommended to clean both at least once a month.
  3. Reinstallation: Replace the filter in the dryer after cleaning.

Cleaning the dryer

Wipe dirt inside the drum or on the outside of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. If the dirt is difficult to remove, use a little neutral detergent together with a clean cloth dampened with warm water.

  • Do not use benzene, gasoline, alcohol, thinners, bleach, corrosive, abrasive, flammable liquids or solvents to clean any part of the dryer (internal or external) to avoid discoloration or damage, as well as the risk of fire or explosion.
