Intended use

The fan is designed exclusively for ventilating dry rooms.

It is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Only use the fan as described in this operating manual.

1. Use this device only in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.

2. Remove the packaging and ensure that the device is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact the service center or your dealer.

3. Keep children away from packaging materials. If swallowed, there is a risk of suffocation!

4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any possible risks.

5. Before connecting to the mains, you must check that the type of current and mains voltage correspond to the information on the device type label.

6. The electrical outlet you use to connect the device must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, reliably grounded.

1. Avoid using an extension cord. If unavoidable, use only tested, grounded extension cords with sufficient cross-section. The cord must be completely unrolled to prevent overheating and fire.

2. It is prohibited to alter or modify the characteristics of this device. Only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to comply will void the warranty and guarantee.

3. If the device is defective, switch it off immediately and contact your dealer or customer service hotline.

4. For any repairs to the device, the power plug, or the cable, always and exclusively contact customer service centers authorized by the manufacturer. The contact details can be found at www.becool.at.

5. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, mental, sensory, or intellectual abilities may only use this device under appropriate supervision and after receiving detailed instructions on safe use.

6. ⚠ Do not operate the device unattended. Always switch off the device if you leave the room.

8. Do not twist or kink the power cord. Make sure that it is completely unrolled and not wound up.

9. Do not use the device with wet hands. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

2. Never operate the device in rooms where gas, oil, or sulfur are present.

3. Do not use the device near water or high humidity, e.g., in damp basements, next to swimming pools, bathtubs, or showers. Make sure that no water gets into the device.

4. Do not place any objects on the device and do not use it to dry clothes or textiles.

5. Place the device on a stable and level surface and keep a distance of at least 1 meter around it so that air circulation is not impeded.

6. Never cover the device.

7. Never insert fingers, pens, or other objects into the device and ensure that the air inlet and outlet are never blocked. Also, keep hair and loose clothing away to avoid injury.

8. Always switch off the device before unplugging the power cord.

9. Never pull on the power cord to disconnect the device from the mains. Always pull on the plug.

10. Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.

11. Unplug the device when not in use, before cleaning, servicing, or moving it to another location.

Fit the two parts of the stand together precisely.

Press both parts carefully together until they audibly and visibly click into place. This ensures that the stand is secure and stable.

	Place the base on the fan housing, carefully guiding the power cord through the opening in the center of the base.
	Place the base on the fan. Make sure that the four recesses match the four rectangular holes in the base. Then turn the base to the right until it clicks into place.
	Now feed the power cord neatly through the center opening of the assembled base so that it is led outwards without tension.

NOTE

Fans of this type and size are designed so that the device is not rigidly connected to the base. It may move slightly and swing gently. This is not a quality defect, but increases stability: if the fan is accidentally knocked by people or pets, it swings back instead of tipping over immediately. This so-called pendulum effect ensures greater safety in everyday use.

Commissioning

• Place the device on a stable, level, and dry surface (do not use in wet rooms).
• Plug the power cord into a standard 220\~240V outlet.
• The fan's functions can be adjusted using the remote control or directly on the device using the buttons on the control panel.
• When using the remote control, point it directly at the device to ensure proper functioning.
• When setting the functions, the corresponding symbols light up on the display:

NOTE

As soon as you connect the device to the power supply and switch it on, the room temperature is shown on the display.

Operation

ON/OFF button

Press the POWER button to turn the fan on or off. The device will start in the last mode used or stop operating when you press the button again.

Setting the speed: SPEED

The fan has three speed settings. Press the SPEED button repeatedly until the desired setting is shown on the display. The fan will adjust its airflow accordingly.

TIMER

You can use the TIMER button to set an automatic switch-off time. The operating time can be set between 1 and 12 hours. Press the button repeatedly until the desired time appears on the display.

Once the timer is active, the display automatically changes from "TEMP" to "TIMER".

Swivel function: OSC

Press the OSC button to switch the oscillation function on or off. When oscillation is activated, the fan swivels evenly from side to side and distributes the air better throughout the room.

NOTE

This function distributes the airflow to the left and right. This achieves horizontal air distribution in the room.

Ambient lighting: LED

Press the LED button to turn the ambient lighting on and off.

To turn the lighting on and off via the control panel, press and hold the ON/OFF button for approx. 3 seconds.

Inserting/replacing the batteries in the remote control

SN CR2025 + OPEN ↑ PUSH

Open the battery cover on the bottom of the remote control, press the buckle on the battery cover inwards and pull it out, remove the battery safety strip. Please ensure the correct polarity (+/-).

To replace the battery, please follow these steps:

- Open the battery cover on the bottom of the remote control, press the buckle on the battery cover inwards and pull it out, remove the old battery.

- Please ensure correct polarity (+/-) Use only CR2025 batteries and dispose of old batteries in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with the regulations in your country.

- Slide the battery cover back onto the bottom of the remote control.

Be careful not to bend the contacts. Insert the new battery and close the battery compartment cover.

NOTE

If you do not use the remote control for a long period of time (4 weeks or longer), remove the batteries from the remote control.

Cleaning instructions

• Always disconnect the device from the power supply by switching it off and unplugging it from the wall socket before cleaning.
• It is advisable to use a neutral cleaning agent and a soft cloth and rub dry. Do not use solvents, acidic cleaning agents, gasoline, alcohol, etc. to clean the plastic parts, as these may deform or damage them.
  • Make sure that no water gets into the motor during cleaning.

WARRANTY

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision in favor of innovation, durability, and reliability.

We grant a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria, for this BECOOL device!

If, contrary to expectations, your device requires servicing during this period, we hereby guarantee free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• We do not accept liability for consequential damage resulting from improper use.
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear
• Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly installed water containers.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transport costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat fee of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent.
