Warning! Read all safety warnings, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire or serious injury.

Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.

The term "power tool" used in warnings applies to all tools driven by power both wired and wireless.

Workplace safety

Keep the workplace well-lit and clean. Disorder and poor lighting can be causes of accidents.

Do not work with power tools in an environment with an increased risk of explosion, containing flammable liquids, gases or vapors. Power tools generate sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.

Children and third persons should not be allowed to enter the workplace. Loss of concentration can result in loss of control.

Electrical safety

The plug of the electric cable must match the power socket. You must not modify the plug in any way. Do not use any plug adapters with earthed power tools. An unmodified plug that fits the outlet reduces the risk of electric shock.

Avoid contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators and coolers. Grounding the body increases the risk of electric shock.

Do not expose power tools to contact with atmospheric precipitation or moisture. Water and moisture that gets inside the power tool increases the risk of electric shock.

Do not overload the power cable. Do not use the power cord to carry, pull or unplug the power plug from the power outlet.

Avoid contact of the power cable with heat, oils, sharp edges and moving parts. Damage or entanglement of the power cord increases the risk of electric shock.

In the case of working outside closed rooms, use extension cords intended for work outside closed rooms. The use of an extension cord adapted for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

When using a power tool in a humid environment is unavoidable as a protection against supply voltage use a residual current device (RCD). The use of RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

contact with concealed wiring or its own cable. If the cutting part comes into contact with live cable, it may cause the exposed metal parts of the power tool to become live and electrocute the operator.

Use clamps or other practical means to securely fasten and support the workpiece on a stable platform. Holding the workpiece with your hand or pressed against your body makes it unstable and can lead to loss of control.

PREPARING FOR OPERATION

Attention! All activities associated with the installation and replacement of saw blades, their adjustment and the maintenance of a power tool should be carried out when the operating voltage of the tool is switched off, therefore, before the further proceedings, you should carry out the following steps: Remove the battery pack from the power tool socket!

ATTENTION! All the operations mentioned in this point must be realised with the power supply off - the battery must be disconnected from the tool!

Safety recommendations for battery loading

Attention! Before loading may start make sure the body of the charger, the cable and the plug are not broken or damaged. It is prohibited to use a damaged loading dock and charger! For the purpose of loading batteries only the charging dock and the charger provided may be used. Using another charger may be a cause of fire or damage the tool. Batteries may be charged only in a dry room, protected from unauthorised persons, particularly children. Do not use the charging dock and the charger without permanent supervision of an adult! If it is necessary to leave the room where loading is taking place, it is required to disconnect the charger from the mains, removing the charger from the mains socket. In case when smoke comes out of the charger, or a strange smell is emitted, etc., it is required to immediately remove the plug of the charger from the mains socket!

The drill and automatic return screwdriver is provided with an unloaded battery, so before work may commence, it is required to charge it following the procedure below, using the charger and charging dock provided. Li-ION batteries do not show the so called "memory effect", so it is allowed to charge them at any moment. However, it is recommended to discharge them during normal work, and then load them to their full capacity. If due to the nature of the task it is not possible to do so each time, then it is required to do it at least from time to time. Under no circumstances is it allowed to discharge the batteries short-circuiting the electrodes, since this would cause irreversible damage! It is also prohibited to check the load of the batteries, short-circuiting the electrodes for sparking.

Storage of the battery

In order to prolong the life of the battery, it is required to provide adequate storage conditions. The batteries can go through approximately 500 "loading - discharging" cycles. The battery must be stored between 0 and 30^ , at the relative humidity of 50% . In order to store the battery for a prolonged period, it is required to charge it to approximately 70% of its capacity. In case of prolonged storage, it is required to recharge the battery once a year. Do not permit excessive discharging of the battery, since this would reduce its life and may cause irreversible damage.

During storage, the battery will be gradually unloading due to leakage conductance. The process of automatic unloading depends on the temperature of storage, since the higher the temperature, the fastest the process. In case of incorrect storage of batteries, there is a danger of electrolyte leakage. In case of leakage, it is required to protect the leakage with neutralizing agent. In case of contact of electrolyte with the eyes, it is required to rinse the eyes abundantly, and then immediately seek medical assistance. It is prohibited to use a tool with a damaged battery.

In case the battery is completely worn out, it is required to deposit it at a special point dedicated to disposal of such waste.

Transport of the batteries

Lithium-ion batteries are in accordance with legal regulations treated as dangerous waste. The user of the tool may transport the tool with the battery or only batteries by land. Then no additional conditions must be complied with. In transport is realised by third parties (for example dispatch through courier service), then it is required to proceed in accordance with regulations for transport of dangerous materials. Before shipment, contact an authorised person.

It is prohibited to transport damaged batteries. During transport the battery must be removed from the tool, and the exposed contacts protected, e.g. with insulating tape. Protect the batteries so that they do not move inside the package during transport. It is also required comply with the national regulations for transport of dangerous materials.

Charging the Battery

Caution! Disconnect the charger plug from the mains before charging. In addition, clean the battery and battery clamps of dirt and dust with a soft, dry cloth or brush.

Disconnect the battery from the tool.

Slide the battery into the charger socket (V).

Plug the charger into a mains socket.

The red LED will light up, which indicates the charging process.

When charging is complete, the red LED will turn off and the green LED will light up to indicate that the battery is fully charged.

Pull the charger plug out of the mains socket.

EN

Pull the battery out of the charging station by pressing the battery clamp button.

Caution! If the green LED lights up when the charger is connected to the mains, the battery is fully charged. In this case, the charger will not start the charging process.

The tool has a built-in charge indicator. The LEDs will light up by pressing the power switch, the more of them come on, the more charged the battery is. If the LEDs do not light up when the button is pressed, the battery is discharged.

Mounting and replacing of the saw blade (II)

You should check whether the blade is not damaged, cracked, whether the cutting teeth are not broken, etc. In the case of damage, replace the saw blade for a new one.

Saw blades differ depending on their assignation. Saw blades for wood and wood-based materials have widely spaced teeth and saw blades for metal and plastic have finer teeth. You should select a saw blade suitable for the planned work. You can mount the saw blade with their teeth directed to the lower or upper part of the housing.

Attention! Mounting the saw blade should be carried out in the protective gloves. This will reduce the risk of injury.

Rotate the spindle and insert the blade holder in the spindle gap. Rotate the clamp to the opposite side and make sure that the blade has been properly fixed: when the clamp is in its original position, the saw blade can not be removed from the spindle.

TOOL USE

Before starting work, make sure that the saw blade is not damaged and is installed correctly. In case of any damage to the saw blade, e.g. fracture, bend, broken teeth, etc., it is forbidden to cut with such a saw blade. Replace the saw blade with a new one that is free of damage.

Attach the workpiece to a workstation, e.g. by means of clamps, vices, etc. Never hold the workpiece only with hands or other body parts. In the case of cutting, support the material at its ends and near the cutting line. Support legs should be placed on both sides of the cutting line so that the saw blade does not jam in the cut when cutting. When cutting, the support leg must always rest on the material to be cut.

Switching the tool on and off

Make sure the battery has been disconnected from the tool.

At the workplace make sure that the surface is level, stable and free of dirt.

Wear eye protection, hearing protection and work gloves.

Check that the switch is in the "off" position and is locked - it cannot be pressed.

Mount the saw blade dedicated for the type of cutting in the tool holder.

Connect the battery to the tool.

Grasp the tool with both hands by the handles. Do not lean the working parts of the tool against any item or object.

Adopt an appropriate posture to ensure balance, unlock the switch by moving the lock switch (III), the lock button should be aligned with the housing on the side marked with an open padlock symbol, and then press the switch to start the tool. The switch cannot be locked in the on position. The deeper the switch is pressed, the higher the torque speed.

Check that the saw blade moves freely and that the tool does not begin vibrating in a suspicious or excessive manner. There is no smoke or suspicious smell coming from it. If you notice any deviation from proper operation, turn off the tool, disconnect the battery, and then hand over the tool to an authorised repair centre.

Start cutting according to the instructions provided below.

Do not overload the tool, the temperature of the external surface must never exceed 60^ .

The device is switched off by releasing the switch. The saw blade may still move for some time after it is switched off. Each time after releasing the pressure on the switch, it should be locked by moving the switch lock (III), the lock button should be aligned with the housing on the side marked with a locked padlock symbol. This will prevent the tool from being started accidentally.

Cutting wood (VI)

Before you start cutting, you should draw the cut line with a carpentry pencil. Then rest the tool on its foot and set the saw blade according to the drawn line, then turn on the tool, allow the tool to reach the rated speed and start cutting. At the time of cutting do not exert too much pressure on the foot and the blade, as this can cause rupture of the working tool.

Plunge cutting

Attention! Plunge cutting may be carried out only in soft materials such as the soft wood or gypsum. You should never make plunge cutting in metal or other hard material.

For the plunge cutting you should use a short blade. Set for the maximum revs. Rest the foot edge on the cut material and switch on the tool. By pressing you should allow for working blade to plunge in material until the foot fully rests on the cut material. Continue cutting along the designated line.

In the case of the wood cutting you should begin cutting at a lower speed and increase it during cutting.

EN

Cutting at the edge

Attention! For cutting at the edge you should use special power saw blades with increased flexibility.

It is possible to cut right near the walls, floors, and other hard-to-reach places. For example, for cutting off the pipes. During cutting you should make sure that the saw blade always travels through the total cross-section of the cut material. It is prohibited to cut around the wall, this may cause rebounding of the tool towards its operator.

It is recommended to mount the blade turned by its cutting edge by about 180 degrees in relation to its normal position. This will ensure easier cutting.

Cutting of holes

Attention! For holes cutting your should use saw blades, which are designed to cut arcs.

Before you start cutting, you should draw the cut line. Then drill a hole with a drilling machine, then insert into the produced hole the saw blade saw and start cutting.

Cutting of metal

Attention! Select the correct type of blade for the type of cut metal. This will ensure greater safety and prolong the service life of the saw blade.

When you are cutting thin sheets of metal. The workpiece should be placed between two pieces of wood. This will allow to achieve a smooth cutting line and reduce vibrations during operation.

It is recommended to use the coolant, which is corresponding to the type of metal. If this is possible in the area after which it will move the rate of saws, you should distribute the thin oil film. This will facilitate the saw operation.

Additional notes

Do not allow to overload the tool, its external surfaces temperature should never exceed 60^ .

At the end of work you should turn off the tool, disconnect the power supply and make maintenance and inspection.

The declared, total declared value of vibration was measured by the standard test method, and it can be applied to compare one tool to another. The declared, Declared total value of vibration can was used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.

Attention! The vibration emissions when working with the tool can differ from the declared value, depending on how you use the tool.

Attention! You should specify the security measures to protect the operator, which are based on an assessment of exposure in the actual conditions of use (including in it all parts of the work cycle, such as, for example, the time when the tool is turned off or it is idling, and its activation time).

MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL

ATTENTION! Before any adjustment, technical service or maintenance operations unplug the tool. Once the operations have been finished, the technical conditions of the tool must be assessed by means of external evaluation and inspection of the following elements: body and handle, conductor with a plug and deflection, functioning of the electric switch, patency of ventilation slots, sparking of brushes, noise level of functioning of bearings and gears, start-up and smoothness of operation. During the guarantee period, the user cannot dismantle the electric tools or change any sub-assemblies or elements, since it will cancel any guarantee rights. All irregularities detected at overhaul or during functioning of the tools are a signal to have the tool repaired at a service shop. Once the functioning has been concluded, the casing, ventilation slots, switches, additional handle and protections must be cleansed with a stream of air (at a pressure not exceeding 0.3MPa ), with a brush or a cloth without any chemical substances or cleaning liquids. Tools and handles must be cleansed with a clean cloth.
