- Introduction

Intendeduse

The product is only designed for massaging the neck and back and legs of people with warming function and shiatsu style (shi = finger, astu = pressure in Japanese). The product is only for indoor household use. It is not intended for medical or commercial purposes and is not a substitute for medical treatment. Any other form of use is not permitted and may result in injury or damage of the product. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper use.

- Scope of delivery

Immediately after unpacking, please check the package contents for completeness and whether the product and all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

⚠ CAUTION! This product is not a toy for children! Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or perform user maintenance without supervision.

⚠️ CAUTION! The appliance has a hot surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.

⚠ WARNING! Avoid the hazard of life by electric shock!

- Do not insert needles or pointed objects into the massage cushion 1.

■ Never immerse the product, or the AC-DC adapter 8 into water or any liquid.

■ Never touch the product, or the AC-DC adapter 8 with wet or damp hands or use it in very humid environments.

- Only use the provided AC-DC adapter 8 as described in "Technical Data" section.

■ Make sure that the details on the rating label are in conformity with your mains voltage.

In the event of malfunctions, remove the AC-DC adapter 8 from the mains socket.

- Do not open the product or attempt to repair it yourself. Defective products should only be repaired by qualified personal.

■ Always remove the AC-DC adapter 8 from the mains socket after each use and before cleaning the product.

- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces, sharp edges and mechanical forces.

■ Never let the power cord become a trip hazard, ensure no one can get tangled in it or step on it.

- Allow the product to cool down before moving it to a different location.

WARNING! HAZARD OF FIRE!

Do not operate the product close to or below curtains, wall cupboards or other inflammable materials.

- Do not use the product on swollen, burnt, inflamed, diseased or injured regions of the skin and body areas. If in doubt, obtain medical advice before using the product.

■ Never use the product if you have injuries or pain in the neck/back or spine.

■ No action is needed from users to shift the product between 50 Hz

and 60 Hz. The product adapts itself for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

- Before use

Note: Remove all packaging material from the product.

□ Always keep the cover 10 on the massage cushion 1 before use. Only the cover 10 is intended to be washed according to "Cleaning and care" section.

Place the massage cushion 1 on a chair and fasten it to the back of the chair with the velcro strap 11. Alternatively, place the massage cushion 1 on a sofa without using the velcro strap 11.

☐ Onect the connection plug 9 to the socket 4 at the back of the massage cushion 1.

☐ Plug the AC-DC adapter 8 into the mains socket.

Sit on the chair and ensure the massage cushion 1 is in the desired position.

Operation

☐ Locate the control panel 3 under the cover 10 (see fig. F)

☐ Switch on the massage cushion by pressing the power button 5 on the control panel 3. The green indicator lights near the power button 5 and inward/outward rotation button 7 switch on.

Press theward/outward rotation button 7 to select the rotation direction of the massage heads 2. The blue indicator light near the inward/outward rotation button 7 switches on when the massage heads 2 rotate inwards. The green indicator light near the inward/outward rotation button 7 switches on when the massage heads 2 rotate outwards

Note: Never use the massage cushion 1 for more than 15 minutes. A longer massage may lead to tension caused by overstimulation of the muscles.

● Warming function

To complement the massage with the warming function, press the light and heat function button 6 to turn on the heat function. The red indicator light near the light and heat function button 6 switches on.

Note: The warming function can only be activated when the massage heads 2 are in operation.

- Off mode

To enter off mode, press the power button 5. All indicator lights switch off and the massage heads 2 stop rotating. Alternatively, the product switches off automatically after 15 minutes.

To turn off completely, disconnect the AC-DC adapter 8 from the mains socket.

- Cleaning and care

Disconnect the AC-DC adapter 8

from the mains socket and unplug the connection plug 9 from the socket 4 before cleaning.

WARNING Never inperse the product, or AC-DC adapter 8 into water.

■ Ensure the massage cushion 1 is completely dry before connecting the AC-DC adapter 8.

Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents to clean the massage cushion 1. It could damage the product.

■ Never allow any liquid to enter the massage cushion 1.

☐ Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Use a little mild detergent on the cloth if necessary.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibre-board/80-98: composite materials.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

The product incl. accessories, manual and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately,

following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment.

- Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.

Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.

Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.

You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.

You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
