How do I install the Sensiplast Aircon?

Install the exhaust hose and window sealing kit as per the manual. Ensure the unit is level and the air intake is unobstructed. Plug into a grounded outlet.

Can I use the Aircon in a room without a window?

The unit requires exhaust venting to the outside. Without a window, you can use a sliding door or a wall vent. Otherwise, it will not cool effectively.

How do I clean the filter?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Open the filter cover, remove the mesh filter, and wash with lukewarm water. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every 2 weeks.

Why is my air conditioner not blowing cold air?

Check if the filter is dirty, the exhaust hose is blocked or kinked, or the unit is in Fan mode. Also ensure the room is not too large for the cooling capacity.

How often should I empty the water tank?

In humid conditions, the tank may fill every 4-6 hours. The unit will stop cooling when full. You can also attach a drain hose for continuous drainage.

What does the 'Sleep' mode do?

Sleep mode gradually increases the temperature by 1-2°C over a few hours to save energy and prevent overcooling while you sleep.

Can I use an extension cord?

It is not recommended. Use a dedicated wall outlet. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord with a rating of at least 15 amps, but ensure the cord is fully uncoiled.

How do I set the timer?

Press the Timer button on the remote or control panel. Use +/- to set hours (1-24). Press Timer again to confirm. The unit will turn on/off at the set time.

What is the recommended room size?

The 12000 BTU model is suitable for rooms up to 20-25 m². For larger rooms, cooling performance may be insufficient.

How do I reset the unit if it shows an error code?

Turn off the unit, unplug it for 5 minutes, then plug back in and restart. If the error persists, consult the manual or contact customer support.
