Heated eyelash curler
- Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intendeduse
This product is only intended for curling human eyelashes. Only use the product on dry eyelashes. This product is only intended for private household use and must not be used for commercial purposes. The product may only be used indoors. All other uses are considered improper and can lead to property damages or personal injuries. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
WARNING! DANGER OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Do not use the product on artificial eyelashes or animal eyelashes.
- Verify the product is complete and undamaged immediately after unpacking.
■ Only use OEM parts.
Do not place the product on hot surfaces, near hot surfaces or near an open fire.
To prevent impermissible heating during use and charging, do not cover the USB Type A to C cable 7, the power supply (not included in delivery) and the product.
- Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
WARNING! To charge the rechargeable battery, use only a Class II power supply (not included in delivery) approved for use with household appliances. SELV output: DC 5 V, max. 1 A.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS
FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unattended with the packaging material or the product. There is a danger of suffocation.
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and/or knowledge, as long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Never allow children to clean or maintain this product unsupervised.
WARNING! Defect the hand-held part
from the USB Type A to C cable 7 before cleaning it.
- Clean the product (see "Cleaning and Care").

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock

Keep the product dry.
Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

WARNING!
If the product falls into the water, immediately remove the USB Type A to C cable 7 from the power supply (not included in delivery) before you reach into the water.

Never touch the USB Type
A to C cable 7 with moist or wet hands, especially when you plug it into the socket or pull it out of the socket.

WARNING!
Never submerge the product or the USB Type A to C cable 7 in water or any other liquid and never rinse this/these under running water.

WARNING!
Do not use the product
while bathing.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
■ Remove the USB Type A to C cable 7 from the power supply (not included in delivery)
- if a malfunction occurs,
- before you clean the product,
- if you have not used the product for a long time,
- during a thunderstorm and
- after each use.
When doing so, remove the USB Type A connector 8 directly from the socket and do not pull it out using the USB Type A to C cable 7.

Avoid risk of injury
Do not use the product if you detect any kind of visible, external damage. Never use a damaged product.
If liquid gets into the product, check before using the product once more.
If you notice that the USB Type A to C cable 7, housing or another part has become damaged, the product can no longer be used.
■ Repairs should only be carried out by a specialist. Improper repairs may result in considerable danger to the user. This will also make any warranty claims void.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original spare parts. Only by using original spare parts can you ensure that safety requirements are met.
For charging connect the USB Type A to C cable 7 to a power source which is well within reach.
■ Never use the product unsupervised and only use it in accordance with the information stated on the type plate.
■ Connect the USB Type A to C cable 7 to the product before inserting it into the power source.
■ Switch off the product before cleaning.
- Lay the USB Type A to C cable 7 so nobody will step on or trip over it.

Avoid the danger of damage to property
Electrical products may pose a hazard to animals. Animals can also damage the product.
Always keep animals away from electrical products.
- Protect the product from moisture, drops of water and splashing water.
■ Ensure that the USB Type A to C cable 7 does not get stuck in cupboard doors and that it is
not pulled over hot surfaces. This could damage the USB Type A to C cable 7 insulation.
ATTENTION! Risk of product damage! Do not expose the product to direct sunshine or heat. The ideal ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +40 °C. Extreme low or high temperature may damage the battery or the product.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
■! WARNING for the purpose of recharg-
ing the batteries, only use protection class II power supply (not provided) approved for use with household product. SELV output: DC 5V, max. 1A.
■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
■ Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/recharge-able batteries
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!
Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. This product contains a battery which is non-replaceable. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
- Charging the product
Note: Charge the product for 90 minutes before using it for the first time and subsequent charging.
Note: Connect the USB Type C connector 6 to the USB type C socket 5 on the product. Connect the USB Type A connector 8 of the USB type A to C cable 7 to a suitable USB Type A socket of a protection class II power supply (not provided), that is approved for use with household products and has a SELV output of DC 5 V, max. 1 A. Connect the power supply (not provided) to the mains socket.
Note: The third LED 13 on the LED indicator 2 will flash blue when the battery is nearly drained.
Note: In order to lengthen the service life of the rechargeable battery, it is recommended that the product is used regularly and without long storage periods.
Note: When the product is charging, the three LEDs 13, 14, 15 flash gradually.
Note: When the battery is fully charged, the third LED 13 on the LED indicator 2 will light up continues blue. When the battery is fully charged, the product can be used for approx. 45 minutes.
- Before first use
WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! The eyelash curler unit 4 is not waterproof and therefore must not be used in the bathroom/a humid place.
■ The following persons should not use this device:
- persons with allergies;
- persons with wounds, inflammation, and swollen eyes;
- persons with eye-related diseases, such as conjunctivitis, etc.
The product is only intended for use on curling eyelashes in dry, indoor spaces.
□ Clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter "Cleaning and care".
Note: The product may give off some odor during first use. This is due to production or transport residues. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the area.
☐ The product can be used cordless only.
Operation
WARNING! Risk of burns! Both eyelash combs 9, 10 and the lash bar 11 will be hot when the product is switched on or cooling down. Always hold the product by its eyelash curler unit 4.
CAUTION! Never place the switched-on/hot product on a table. If necessary, only place the product on a flat, heat-resistant surface and away from other objects.
• Switching the product on/off
☐ Remove the protective cap ☐ before use.
☐ Press and hold the on/off button 3 for approx. 2 seconds to switch on the product. The first LED 15 of the LED indicator 2 will flash blue.
☐ Press and hold the on/off button 3 again for approx. 2 seconds to switch off the product. The LEDs 13, 14, 15 of the LED indicator 2 go out.
Note: The product switches off automatically after 10 minutes.
- Selecting the temperatur level (see Fig. C)
Note: Always select the lowest temperature level to begin with and increase the temperature gradually if necessary. Stop using the product immediately and switch off if it becomes too hot, you feel pain or feel uncomfortable.
☐ Press and hold the on/off button 3 for approx. 2 seconds to switch the product on. The first LED 15 (temperature level 1) flashes and the product begins to heat up. As
soon as the temperature of approx. 55 °C (+/-10%) is reached, the first LED ^15 lights up permanently.
☐ Press the on/off button 3 again to switch to temperature level 2. The first LED 15 and second LED 14 flash while the product is heating up. As soon as the temperature of approx. 65 °C (+/-10%) is reached, the first LED 15 and second LED 14 lights up permanently.
☐ Press the on/off button 3 again to switch to temperature level 3. All 3 LEDs ^13 , ^14 , ^15 flash while the product is heating up. As soon as the temperature of approx. 75 °C (+/-10%) is reached, all three LEDs ^13 , ^14 , ^15 light up permanently.
☐ Press and hold the on/off button ☐ 3 for approx. 2 seconds to switch the product off.
- Curling the eyelashes (see Fig. D1 & D2)
- Check the product for damage before each use.
■ Always use the product in front of a mirror to ensure that you do not injure your eyes.
CAUTION! When using the product, the eyelash combs 9, 10 become hot. Do not touch the skin with the eyelash combs 9, 10 for too long to avoid injury.
Note: The large eyelash comb 10 is suitable for shaping the upper eyelashes. The small eyelash comb 9 is suitable for shaping the side upper eyelashes as well as the lower eyelashes.
☐ Remove the protective cap 1.
☐ Adjust the angle for the lash bar 11 by pressing the release button 12.
☐ Press and hold the on/off button ☐ 3 for approx. 2 seconds to switch the product on.
☐ Set the temperature (see chapter "Selecting the temperature level") and wait until the curling comb 9, 10 has reached the desired temperature before using the product.
☐ Hold the big curling comb 10 to the root of the upper eyelashes for about 3 to 5 seconds and slowly comb from the root to the tip of the eyelashes. Hold the position for another 3 seconds to curl the eyelashes. Repeat this process two to three times.
☐ Use the small curling comb ☐ 9 to curl the sides of the upper eyelashes.
Tip: Use the small curling a small first to shape the upper eyelashes and then for the lower eyelashes.
Note: You can apply mascara to the eyelashes before or after using the product.
After applying the mascara, do not use the product immediately, let the mascara dry first. You can use the small eyelash comb ^9 to separate the eyelashes if you have applied too much mascara.
☐ After use, switch the product off by pressing and holding the on/off button 3 for approx. 2 seconds.
■ Make sure that the curling combs 9, 10 have cooled down before cleaning and storing the product.
- Cleaning and care
- Never immerse the product, the USB Type A to C cable 7 and the power supply (not included in delivery) in water or other liquids or rinse under running water.
Always switch off the product before cleaning it (see chapter "Switching the product on/off"). - Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
☐ Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
If some mascara left on the curling comb 9, 10 please clean it with a clean and dry cloth, a cotton swab or a small soft brush. Please make sure it is no any water or any cotton get into the product and dry it fully.
Storage
CAUTION! DANGER OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY! Never store the product when the product is charging. Risk of overheating! Let the product cool down before putting it away.
Note: Do not put the product to direct sunshine or heat. The ideal ambient temperature is between -10 °C and +60 °C. Extreme low or high temperature may damage the battery or the product.
☐ Please cover the protective cap ☐ 1 before storage.
■ Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children.
Note: We recommend to charge the product every 6 months.

- Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

The product incl. accessories, manual and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery that cannot be replaced or removed by the user. When disposing of the product, it must be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled. Return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.
For this product, the rechargeable battery is also covered by its warranty period.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 472389_2407) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
